whitetop03 Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I found a pair of Frye Oxfords that I really like. They only go up to size 11. I usually wear a size 12, but depending of the shoe, I can sometimes get away with an 11. These are the shoes that I would like to get http://www.thefryecompany.com/Product-Women-Shoes-Heels-73631BRN.aspx. I don't want to spend that kind of money if they are going to be too tight. Any help will be appreciated.

I hope this information helps.
wood&metal Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I have a pair of Frye boots, and they are true to size.. Never frown because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
UpBy5 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I ordered and tried on a pair of Frye "Betty inside zip" boots, 3 1/2" heel, US womens' size 11 from Endless.Com. I'm a US men's size 9. Fit was spot on, but had to return due to styling issues; too much gold/silver piping bling at seams. Didn't want to risk a shoemaker spoiling an expensive pair trying to remove the piping. Also no black available in my size. Not a bling kind of guy. A well designed shoe doesn't really need it. Just my opinion. UpBy5

Arctic Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I think you'll be fine. I am a 9.5 and most of the time get away with the Frye women's 11 if they are not too pointy. And I am in the same boat as you, I ordered last week wednesday a pair of Harlow Stich Cuff - I am waiting for the call from Nordstrom. PM me if I forget to tell you in a couple days. What's all the fuss about?
Dr. Shoe Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 For fuck's sake! Why can't you just go to the shop and try them on? Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Arctic Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 For fuck's sake! Why can't you just go to the shop and try them on? You talkin' to me? They didn't have them in 11 in stock. So they ordered them. And I tried them on today, elaborately, in store. I've tried thousands of high heels on, so it wasn't exactly my maiden voyage. And I'm pretty bold but I got to say that OTK boots are just one more notch up! What's all the fuss about?

If there is anywhere you can try a pair on, I would suggest that. But those are gorgeous high heels. A little out of my price range, but they are beautiful. I hope everything works out for you.
