Boots4Me Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Hi all, Just wondering if anyone can help me. I have fallen in love with a pair of boots in the pic attached and I have no idea who they are made by and where you can buy them from. The label says "1969 Made in Italy" but google searches on this have not been incredibly successful. If anyone knows more about where I can get these from online and if they come on larger sizes I would love to hear from you.
danielp6406 Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Those are very nice boots: I understand why you have fallen in love with them. BTW, I guess you made this request in the wrong section of this forum. The best place to post such a request should be here > http://www.hhplace.org/high_heels_wanted/ Maybe you would like to ask admin to move your post there ? (And women would look at it too so much better chance to get a reply)

Some very nice boots indeed (gotta love Italian workmanship ), yet very pricey. Heels aside, the man store section has some very nice masculine shoes by Gianni Barbato as well.

metalheel Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 should look on highfeeling web site for these red thighboots http://www.high-feelings.de/en/high-heels/thigh-boots/thigh-high-boot-red.html . I got a pair from them and they look similar to your picture. good product, long legged, nice to wear (I would suggest one size more for best comfort, this what I usually do)
Dr. Shoe Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Yes but you can see that the quality of the 1969 boots is far, far superior. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.

metalheel Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 sorry Dr Shoe and Boots4Me, I first caught a glimpse to the pict on a small screen then didn't catch the details of this marvelous boot at first. actually, I did not find same design on ebay link : "1969-italia-boutique" seller http://stores.ebay.fr/1969-Italia-Boutique_1969_W0QQ_dmdZ1QQ_fsubZ211344119QQ_sidZ87149869QQ_sopZ3QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em14QQ_vcZ1?_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=1 even among its 281 quality items wearing "1969" trade mark (may this 1969 model no more on the market?...) I found a certain Dick Withttington with a wrong ebay link to §1300 black pair on http://www.chictopia.com/heelsdeals1 http://www.chictopia.com/photo/show/235447-DICK+WHITTINGTON-1969-boots then another with 1969 knees boots on http://www.flickr.com/photos/secretodeamor1/3980160489/ but nowhere to buy these boots. there is a classic western Italian film named "boot hill" (1969), may be there is a link with the origin of this trade mark, I will watch it then tell you what's on...
danielp6406 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Thanks metalheel for the links :-) On one of your link I see a pair of $2300 boots... This is quite a lot of money for boots ! For that price I hope the are custom made ! See them on this link > http://www.chictopia.com/photo/show/217092-ON+AND+ON+AND+ON+FOR+EVER-podium-thigh-boots-boots
gwyther Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 i had my heart set on the boots mentioned on ebay...! i bid upto £100 but alas no joy...! the winning bidder still got them for a scoop at £145... lucky lucky wotsit...! one day perhaps...! will have to make do with my LSB 5" THB's for now...! oh the hardship...!
