chris100575 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 We've just been doing some painting, and I was struggling to reach where the wall meets the ceiling as I was cutting in. My OH suggested that I might find it easier in a pair of heels, and I remembered my stripper platforms! The two inch platform and six inch heels gave me the extra height I needed and made the job a lot more fun! Expect to see them at your local B&Q in the next few weeks.
BOOTED UP Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Hi Chris, Great idea, I have used my 7 inch heels many times when cleaning the windows, you know when you just cant reach in to that far corner, 7 inchers to the rescue, its also makes such a hated job a bit more interesting. BOOTED UP
canadianbeaver17 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 been there, done that! lol fashion meets functionality!
larkofam Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 never thought about being a weekend warrior in heels but it sounds like a good idea
HappyFeat Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 My only fear would be dripping paint on my shoes...I tend to be a bit sloppy. Style is built from the ground up!
Iamme Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I like it when I am able to reach higher up places more easier when I am wearing heels. However, I don't wear my heels especially for that purpose. But being able to reach higher up places more easily is a nice pro.
johnieheel Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Pretty much why I wear my heels grociery shopping. I'm only 5'6" and now I can reach things on the top shelf. real men wear heels
radiodave Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I was having a hard time cleaning my 50 gallon aquarium that stands about 6 feet tall on its stand. Even on a step stool I couldn't quite reach the bottom. A pair of 5 inch heels solved that problem.
roniheels Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I wear my 6.5" platforms at the library where I work pert time. I can reach many more book shelves while wearing them.
