SteveInHeels Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Just a quick message to introduce myself, I'm Steve, 33 from Uk I've loved high heels since I was a teenager but due to the size of my feet (UK12) I've not been able to indulge short of paying through the nose on specialist websites for 5"ers which for me are a little too high and uncomfortable. I would love my own Knee highs but have well built calves and doubt I'd fit any . Thanks for reading.

First of all, you've selected a nic name that is almost identical to one of our most active and admired members. It might be less confusing, in my opinion, if you ask Tech for help in selecting a new nic name and to change this one. When you mention Knee Highs, are you speaking of boots or knee high stockings? Also, some of the other male members here have larger size feet. Perhaps they might be able to suggest local merchants that sell heels in your size. I'm sure one or more will be in touch. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
SteveInHeels Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Sorry I wasn't very clear lol. I like both knee high boots and stockings but I've yet to combine the two as I when my feet were small enough to fit into boots I'd not discovered the joy of hosiery. I'll look at changing the nick name if it's going to cause confusion. Thanks for the heads up
hh4evr1 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Hello and welcome. I'm sure there are companies in England that do knee high boots with differenct calve fittings. I have seen them on the web etc, but unfortunately at the moment I cant remember the company names. If I do remember, or see them again I will let you know. Enjoy your time here

I don't know any users names yet. Thanks.

at9 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Hi Steve and welcome. The company that does different calf fitting boots is Duo but unfortunately they only go up to UK9. http://www.duoboots.com/ I have one pair of their boots and very nice they are too. You might just be lucky with Evans. Here's a link to their kneehigh boots. http://www.evans.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?beginIndex=0&catalogId=20554&storeId=12553&categoryId=175060&parent_category_rn=69588&langId=-1&top=Y Although they only go up to UK10 other forum members have frequently said they run large, sometimes up to 2 sizes large. Would be worth going to an Evans shop and trying some on. Suppliers of what we loosely call "fetish" footwear are not always expensive. For example Alternative Footwear have a huge variety in various heel heights at reasonable prices. I haven't used them but they have been well rated by other forum members: http://www.alternative-footwear.co.uk/shop.html

Now if only I had the confidence to actually try them on in store...
