miltboot Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I've been trying to post a pic for my avatar but have no idea how. HELP!
astrid Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 You should probably have posted this in the tech support thread. However, the avatar option is located in the "Settings & Options" section of your 'User CP' which is located under the 'Blogs' option on the top menu. Make sure your picture is within the limits (100 by 150 pixels or 20.0 KB (whichever is smaller). If it isnt, you can resize it using imaging software. Drop me a PM if you cant do it. Astrid.
miltboot Posted August 1, 2009 Author Posted August 1, 2009 Thanks Astrid. I'll let you know if I need assistance.
miltboot Posted August 1, 2009 Author Posted August 1, 2009 Problem solved. Once I posted enough to become a bronze member, I was allowed to post an avatar. Thanks for the offer, Astrid. Like my avatar?
roniheels Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Great avitar. Is that you in thoses boots?
FXHH Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 well uploaded an avatar, however tried to make it a little bigger, and it kept displaying the same size!! even though kept uploading bigger and bigger pics!! any case been meaning to do it for long time and now I did, and even uploaded the whole bunch of other pics from the batch onto the gallery!!
jmc Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 There is a size limit on avatars to keep them from upsetting the page formatting and slowing down page load times. Avatars larger than 100 x 150 will be downsized and file sizes must be less than 10 Kb. Have a happy time!
miltboot Posted October 1, 2009 Author Posted October 1, 2009 Great avitar. Is that you in thoses boots? Yes, that is indeed me in those boots.
HappyinHeels Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Was reading the posts about how to post an avatar but never saw the instructions. What is the threshold for posting to be a bronzemember??
Bubba136 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 My avatar? Yes, those are really my shoes. Two pair of pumps with 7" heels from LSB. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
