raymond.nl Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 I've bought these second hand, and they turned out a bit more pointy than I had guessed. What should one (more specifically: a slim guy) wear with these? Would pressed pants / dress slacks work? Denim?
Bubba136 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 they sure are pointy. How about shorts and a t-shirt? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
bootluvr Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 I'd say ANYTHING GOES as to me they look like a Dressy Western style Boot. :-) Boots Rock!!!!
JeffB Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Jeans and a turtleneck would work very well with those boots which look absolutely gorgeous! Happy wearing! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
roniheels Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Jeans would go great with these handsome boots. And then either sweater, sweatshirt, or even a flannel shirt would be OK.
rxrenesis Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 My vote is Jeans and a sweater. rx If the shoe fits BUY IT http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a145/rxrenesis/Shoe%20Shots/
Dawn HH Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 My vote would be a nice pair of dress pants or a great pair of jeans over the boots. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
aussieheels1 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 love the boots... if you are game, wear a pair of skinny jeans (dark denim) and tuck them in the boots....
r1g0r Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 personally, i'd wear a calf-length black or denim skirt. society has decided that men will be confined to certain items of clothing, and certain modes of presentation. until we rebel PERSONALLY against this, we are diminished!
Bootking Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 A dress, a skirt, jeans under or over the boots, tights, dress pants over the boots, gaucho pants - the list just goes on and on and on and on............ It's all about the heel!
jwhite44 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Bootcut pants (typically jeans) will help to conceal some of the boot. That will minimize how much is seen, so the pointiness may seem as extreme. You could go one step further and go for flair cut, but I think you might need to get into woman's pants for that (there's a whole separate thread for that in the forums).
gary0618 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Great Looking Pair of Boots, for Sure. I agree with previous comments, a nice boot cut / small flare dress pant or jeans. Enjoy Them! FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE
