I saw it tonight myself. Looks like it's 4" to me.

w6ish, those CL heels look too low for you! lol

OPI is VERY good polish. It's what a normally find at every salon. Although, in my opinion, for the price and the frequency I change polish, it's not work buying myself. If I wore it on my fingers instead of toes, I might have a different opinion.

I have a pic of the first ones - peep toe with the bow from Hollywood Heels. They are quite the challenge! I practice this with them once and a while, but they are defininatly sit-down shoes.
-
Can we see a pic? I'm a little interested in how they look.

I agree with Bubba. I do like the idea, but something more formal like a pointy toe pump or slingback might be sexier.

Great story! I too had many stories similar to that when I was around 18-19 when I was acutally starting to wear heels out. Lots of female friends were very supportive and proposed we have outings similar to the ones you mentioned. That's awesome!

Maybe the article was inspired by Kim Jong Il...lol

With flip flops for example, I get razzed for red one, turquoise, or even white ones. Some people say that are too girly - even though they are "guy" flip flops. I told one of my friends that when I wear pink toenail polish that I don't find it girlie at all - i just think it looks good. She totally agreed with me saying it didn't have the same affect on her, only that she thought it looked tropical on her. I guess it is all a matter of opinion.

Happyfeat, I love the gauchos on you! I too have tried them on (my gf loves wearing them herself) and they look quite good on me. But I haven't wore them out yet.

As most of you replied, once you tell them you are not gay, they change their opinion. It's almost the "are you gay?" is something to mask their own uncertainty of the situation. I think the issue is not that you are wearing something that isn't the norm, it is that they need time to comprehend what they just saw and think if they like it or not.

I have encountered this problem with sling back heel sandals and mules. I've just learned to live with it. When it gets stuck, it eventually comes out. I have noticed lots of people have the same issue. I'm not saying it looks good, but you just gotta deal with it thats all.

Happy feet, you are definately on the right track with this woman. Even if its a "Friendly" coffee date, it's still good to gain a friend with the same passion as you.
-
Hahahahaha I wanna party with you!
-
Nice choice! I'm sure you will enjoy wearing them!

I gotta ask, how does the whole washroom/catsuit thing work? lol

I too splurged and bought a pair of Yoyo. CLs do run small about, and the yoyo's even smaller. I made the same mistake as you!

I happen to stumble upon this group while surfing on Facebook. This guy, Viktor Bradshaw from Barcelona, seems him and his friend (men and women) sure love to rock their heels. There are just too many pics to post on here, so here is the link to the Facebook group:

If you don't have Facebook, here is his MSN Space page. I'm sure there are pics on there:

I love the guy on the left's outfit! The pic below is a pretty sweet outfit too! Wouldn't mind trying either one.

I know i'm in the minority, but most of the times I prefer to go barefoot in boots. Last year, I mostly did hose or really thin socks. We'll see what this winter has in store for me!
-
No no no! No nylons! Sorry, you gotta suck it up and go barefoot! haha. It's in the same category as sandals and socks.

If you scroll down to the comments on that flickr pic that donnawoman posted, you see this link:

Well, I'm 24 now and go to school part time, I would have to say that people do not care nor have time to look at your feet - especially in lecture halls. Start off simple...maybe a loafer wedge, then progress from there. It's all a personal comfort level. The reactions I got, no matter if it was nail polish, fem sandals, or platforms, they just ask "are you wearing ___?" and I say "ya" and they just go "well then, thats very nice on you!". You get the little nervous giggle out of them, but then after it turns into a conversation piece. I hope this helps dingpat...but ask if you have more q's (that goes for anyone).

I remember watching this interview and noticing the same thing!
