I've ran into people I know a few times and not much has been said, unless someone really noticed after a few hours. This was with anything from pointy toe stiletto boots under long jeans, women's flip flops, wedge loafers, etc. Same can be said for my toenail polish - although pale or nude colours, you can still tell I had it on.

Frenchy! Love the polish! They did a great job. You have a side shot of those sandals? Did you wear them outside, with what?

I have bought a few pairs just for fun. I did buy a pair like mlroseplant's Candies mules, evening know I would never wear them out. Since heeling indoors happened the most, I decided to buy some "indoor slippers" that I always loved the styles and wanted them for my own. All 4 I use to wear a lot.

Sure, 10" now, is 11" next? It's like razors - two blades have now become 5!

Tailors do wonderful things! I'm amazed how they can take a difficult project like you mentioned and turn it into a brand new garment (and the price is cheap!) I hope it all works out for you and you will have to show us how it looks. and P.S. - that red jump suit is amazing!!

I have normally done barefoot, but I have also done hose or socks. I just like the feeling of barefoot when I can. It wouldn't be something I would do for 8 hours though in the heat lol

TX Guy, glad you have a great experience at Aldo's. I do love their shoes, but have always thought their sizing was screwy. But from what I see, it looks like they have fixed the sizing issue.

I am guilty as the next person for two reasons: 1) I just creep on here, and 2) I have told all my stories in years past and have slowed up on what I do. But, I'm considering this as motivation and I'm going to try to reply to posts more!

This is actually how it all started. A friend of mine always had huge chunky platforms and I she always raved about loving to wear them AND the fact that she had huge feet (size 12's just like me!). So one day she just asked me to try so I did. And the rest is history!
