  1. Hey everyone. In right now is a lot matte colors, especially greys and neutrals. I suggest you try them. I've been rocking a grey matte on my toes for a while and people seem to like it. It's one of those that has had to grown on me, but it's definitely a trendy thing.

  2. You really have to see what your seller's rating is and what they are selling. If it's a bunch of garage sale stuff, they don't care and want to part with it somehow. If it's some one who just sells shoes, then you know they know what they are talking about. That's just from my experience.

  3. Living in a boarder town, I've gone to Detroit to buy shoes before. I agree that there is a larger selection of larger size shoes over there. Makes it easier to try before you buy. But, most of the time I just ebay it.

  4. Aldo sizing has to be the worst that I've experienced. I wrote about this before that no 2 styles are the same. I remember being at a store some years ago and tried on 2 similar pairs of ankle wedge boots. One fit perfectly, they other I couldn't even get on. I know my gf had bought a pair of flip flops from there and had to go 2 sizes up! Buyer beware I guess!

  5. Good nail polish is always a good start. Stay away from the cheap watery brands (NYC, wet and wild, etc.). It's mostly trial and error to see what brands work for you. OPI and China Glaze seem to be the salon's choice. If these are too pricey, I would just buy a really good top coat and that should help!

  6. There is one in Detroit around a couple malls I normally go to. Being in Windsor, we definitely take advantage of shopping in the states when the dollar is as good as it is now. Actually, when you think of it, even when it's at 1.30, it's still a good deal because some things are cheaper over there.

  7. I discovered that place a few years ago. I was amazed of the HUGE selection of 11-12 and the fact that they were good looking shoes! But, as most places like that, it's hit or miss. Either way, it was good to have the opportunity of having lots of pairs to try on that fit for once.
