It's not even heels that the women like...it's uniqueness! Saturday I went to a pub for a friend's birthday. I had on red flip flops with my jeans and black top. The chick's loved the look. Said the flip flops made the outfit.

maybe you should model them for us!

Good job, man! University is a good place to venture out with style. You certainly see the whole spectrum of looks there. My favourtie comment at the U was one day before class I was talking with this girl. She is one of those girls that just rambles on and on and you never get in a word edgewise. In her mid sentence she was like "Hey, you seem taller today". She looks down quick and goes, "Oh, you are wearing heels". And then she just went onto the conversation..lol Mind you the shoes I had on were chunkier, but still goes to show you most ppl do not care.

I wouldnt wear a heel to school, but i do wear chunkier shoes or wedge shoes or flat women's shoes to school. Guys normally see them and jokingly call me gay. We laugh, and thats the end of it. ha And its true...guys would wear them if they had a backbone

The first night I wore actual heels was my boots in my avatar to a club downtown. It was me and my one female friend. We stood around a table where a bunch of her friends were. I was talking and getting to know them. I then sat down on a stool and my heel was fully exposed.

One girl looked down and noticed them. She leaned over to my friend and asked if she could ask me about them. She then tapped me on the shoulder and said "I really like your boots. Where did you get them?". We began to talk and hit it off.

At the end of that convo, she said to me, "You know, all the guys in here look the same. They look like they are out of an American Eagle Catalog. You have style. You wear differnt things and it looks good. If I didn't have a bf sitting right next to me, I would totally give you my number".

Maybe that confidence kept me persuing woman's shoes from then on...

I was at a club one time when it was thunderstorming outside. My friend and I had to book it to the parking garage that was a good 2 blocks away. So there is be running down the main street in downtown Windsor in my boots (avatar). I did it like a champ! lol I even impressed myself...

I totally agree. I've only encountered one women that really didnt get it. Most women are encouraged by this diversity. Some might think it's weird at first. After talking to them, you can get them hooked!

Ya shoe sizing (US) is an odd thing: Men's shoes (dress or running shoes) = 10.5-11 Men's flip flops = 10 mens Women's flip flops or mules or strappy sandals = 10/11 Women's sandals with ankle strap = 11/12 Women's pumps, boots, loafers = 12 I really broke the rule once when I bought a pair of women's platform wedge loafers that were 10 and they fit like a gem. It mostly depends 1) the make, and 2) the style. That's why you got to watch when you buy something online.

Hey Kneehighs, when you were in Royal Oak, you should of came across the river to Windsor - that's where all the good nightclubs are. And your American money goes farther.,

Nice heel, but they look too small on you. They might feel ok for a bit, but later on after a long span of wearing them (say like 3-4 hours of an evening) they will giev you some trouble. But as always - I hope I am wrong.

All those would be fun to wear - but I don't know about how pratical they are.

Thumbs up, man! I've converted some girls into wearing heels. They complained before that they hurt too much. But I show them what pairs to wear that still look hot and they love them!

Hey All! Last week I was shopping with my gf when she saw a kickass pair of Steve Madden slingback heels. They are black with a 4” heel. A skinny strap with a buckle goes across the toes. It has another thong strap that criss-crosses the main strap. She tried them on and were very hot on her. They were too high so she told me to try them out. Of course, I can do higher heels than her (gotta love that). They looked perfect on me. And for $20 they were a steal. So I got them! Too bad I don’t have a pic. Anyways we went to a bar on Saturday for a going away party. I’ve never done open toe heels before. I thought of some nail polish but it didn’t look right, so I opted for just a clear coat to spruce the peds up. I went with some people that I have wore chic shoes before around them but never noticed. I was a hit with the girls and the guys. Several came up and lifted up my jean leg to see what I had on. They were certainly impressed. One of my friends asked if I was a “trendsetter”. I was like “ummm I dunno, I just like the way they look!” She says she works at a female-only clothing store and gets a lot of guys coming in buying merchandise. She had the same philosophy as me – if it looks good, wear it! Now the heels did hurt a bit at the end of the night, probably because I was breaking them in. But these heels will sure be shown off again. Now two other fun things….Firstly when I was shopping at my gf, we noticed 2 brothers, probably around 10-13, with their mother. They found a pair of lime green platform thong flip flops. Now I know some people here hate that style, but I personally like it. They had them on and were walking around in them. They both asked their mom for a pair. Their mom responded with “well where are you going to wear them?” They both replied at school. I believe she said she would purchase one pair for them since they were cheap. Who knows – maybe they will be a hit on the playground! Secondly…When I went out that night, I drove to the club with a female friend of mine. When she picked me up, she asked for a pair of heels for her. She says she always wears flip flops and wanted to feel pretty for a change. So I gave her a pair. I think that’s really cool. She also asked me for coverup for a pimple – too bad I didn’t have any..lol Cheers All!
