AH! But when they are a few wrinkles, you know they are nylon or Silk.
Not some cheap stretch stockings.
I love that picture!

Extremely Sexy!
But for some reason, I prefer to see a lady dangling just one shoe at a time. It seems to 'posed' to see her with both shoes almost off.
Also a rear view of a great pair of ankles in heels, with one foot angled in. Wow! another turn-on for me.

You are my hero.... Congratulations.
They look great. Now if I can find the courage to do the same someday!
Wear them, they won't be slippery for long.

Hello Laurance,
Congratulatios and good luck.
I have purchased 2 or 3 pairs of boots from you last year. Actually I think they were your Belgian Friends. But I do Thank You.
And it is nice to see you here too.

Mickey,
I love the platform shoes with the buckles that you are wearing with the denim skirt. I would wear them with wide flared jeans.
Thanks, I will keep looking. But put me at the top of your list, if you ever decide to sell them. I think we are about the same size.

Hey, This might seem pretty obvious, but you might try something that has worked well for me. I always try to wear heels at least 5" whenever I am standing for a few minutes. Like shaving in the morning, washing dishes, or maybe even just standing for a few minutes watching the TV. While standing, I will make my legs as straight as possible, pushing my knees backwards and holding there, then forwards slightly, and repeating. This seems to stretch my muscles quit nicely. When I do get back into my 4 - 4.5" daily wearers, they almost feel like I am wearing flat shoes. I hope this helps someone, especially those new to heel wearing.

Hello Exitman,
Nice boots. I really like them.
I have the same problem with spending a small fortune on boots. I either order boots mailorder, or try them on when I get back in my car, or at home. I have returned boots either way if they did not fit or I did not like them once I tried them on.
Funny thing happened to me last week. I stopped in a local WalMart for some non shoe items, but of course I had to pass through the shoe dept. I found a pair of mens sneakers that I wanted to get for bicycle riding. And I wanted to try them on, no big deal right? But I was wearing my new knee high boots with 4" heels and with quite few other shoppers about, I was unable to bring myself to take them off. Silly me, eh?
I know! One of these days I will Try, before I Buy!
Good Luck

Bert,
I wear a wide men's 10 normally, and a US womens 12 in most shoes. However I find most boots seem to run a bit large, so I have many size 11 womens boots. This pair fit me fine, except in the instep, which is not unusual for me. They were just a bit tight, but the foot fit well. I buy a product from Totes. It is called Shoe Stretch, and comes in a spray can. It always works well for me.
For these boots, I sprayed the insides, put them on, then sprayed the outside. Then I went for a walk. They fit fine now.
I do really like these boots. I wore them shopping to the supermarket this morning. Good Luck

I am 6' tall, and have no problem getting jeans and trousers long enough. I wear mostly boots, so I do like the flared or boot cut legs. I usually need a tall size, but not always. Women's legs are longer in proportion then mens.
All of these stores, where I do shop often, have tall sizes: J C Penney, Old Navy, WalMart, Kmart and The Gap. I wear my heels and shop in the womens department, then take my selections to the men's dressing roomto try on. I have never had a problem, and I am sure of the fit and length. I actually find some jeans that are too long. So, whern I get home, I pin them up and take them to the tailor.
There are also many online stores. I often buy from NewPort News.com. They have many sales though out the year, and you can get some great deals.
And as discussed elsewhere, womens jeans feel better ! !

Well I did it again. I just can't resist sharp looking boots.
I also would like to share this story.
I was surfing the web this past monday night. I found these boots on Zappos.com, and I sent the pic to a few friends who where online at the time. I got positive responses when I said I was gonna order them for myself. So at about 9pm I was keying in my credit card number. I remember thinking that I hope I get them for the weekend.
Well, the next morning, as I left the house for work....Guess what was on my doorstep? Zappos had them shipped overnight from Wherever, at no charge. I had these boots in less than 13 hours after ordering.
Amazing Service.
Oh! About the boots. The are Harley Davidson Brand. Size 11, with a 4" heel, and an inside zipper. All leather uppers and very comfortable.

French Maid. is that one word?

I had the same problem once. It was my fault as I got the zipper stuck about half way up, and in forcing it down, it got all confused and would not work correctly again. Well, I was very hesitant to go to a local shoe repair shop. I was wondering how many crotch high boots they see. Anyway, the repair man only told me that he would have to order a new zipper as he had none that long. No surprise there. A week later and the boot was better then new, with a nicer and stronger looking zipper. The only comments the repair man had were, "this was a lot more work than I first thought" , and he commented on how nice the boots were. So go ahead, get them fixed.

I would say Yes, To some extent. The top of the heel would have to be a similiar shape and size. And of course the height would have to be close. I have purchased boots in the past, and have had the heel replaced by a local shoe repair shop. Do you have a pic of what you want to change? Good Luck

Hey Gooch,
You know, part of the fun is finding the right pair.
Have you look online at all? These are very easy to find. I know they must be listed on a dozen or more eretail web sites.
But I did find them for you on eBay.

I love long boots.
Here is a pic I found online somewhere.

Heelfan and Loveheel, Thank you for the kind responses. I too prefer non-platform boots that are of the basic or plain design. I have several pair similar to these. I will have to get some more pics and post them. I do wear my heels outside often. Most shopping, grocery stores, departments stores, even Home Depot, is done in heels. The shortest heels I have are 3.5" and the tallest, for street heeling, are 5 inches.

May I add my Adventure here?
Yesterday was my Birthday, and my lady friend wanted to take me to dinner at Harrahs Casino in Atlantic City for dinner and some gambling.
What a great time to wear my new boots. We spent about 4 hours total in the Casino. First in the restaurant and then walking around the casino floor. We played a few slots, and sat among many people. We had a great time and enjoyed wearing my boots in a very public place. We also stopped at a convience store on the way home.
The boots are from Jean Gaborit, size 45 with a 4" heel. They are all leather with a soft leather lining. They come to just below my kneecap and are very comfortable.
