  1. Welcome Corsair.

Interesting name. Does it have andy significance? Kinda sounds like the 1960 car, The Corvair and one model they had call the Corsa.

I enjoyed reading your post very much. My current lady friend also wears the same size boots as I. I have given her a couple of pairs from my collection when it was closet cleaning time.

If you don't mind me asking. What part of the world are you from? We are planning a Street Heeling meet in New York City in March 2005.

Keep the posts coming, and look forward to some photos from you and your wife too!

  2. New York City Heel Meet.

Looks like by popular request, we are scheduling our meeting for March 19, 2005. It does sound like a long way away, but we want to plan it out a bit and make it work this time!

We are hoping to meet at A To Be Determined restaurant at noon. Probably in the village area. We will get to know each other of a casual lunch.

I think we all would like to do some shopping, or at least looking. So any suggestions are welcome, Please. 8th street keeps coming up as a good place to start for heel shopping.

Any other suggestions for the afternoon? Then we can finish with dinner.

    SPREAD THE WORD !

  3. Looks like the making of a Street Heeling Meet in Philadelphia.

I already have a lady friend into heels who would love to join us.

South street has about 6 or 8 shoe stores on it, and I think 1 or 2 on some of the side streets. For those who do not know of South Street, remember the 60's song: "Where do all the hippies meet? South street, South street". South Street Philadelphia. A fairly crazy street that has been getting tamer over the last few years, but is still a fun place.

  4. I agree, Burlington Coat Factory usually carries quite a few styles in size 11. My avatar boots are from Michelle K, size 11, which I bought at Burlington Coat factory.

Also, last night I was strolling South Street in Philadelphia. I found a Bare Foot Shoes store. I went in and was surprised. Not only did I find lots of size 11's, I also spotted quite a few pairs of size 12's. Mostly in boots, but in shoes too. They carry a pretty wild selection of boots. Check it out if you are in the area.

  5. Well, I am not married, but......

I had one girfriend who was intrigued with my collection of heels.

She wanted to try on a pair of lace up thigh high white & black boots that I had worn a few times with her. Boy did she get mad at me. Seems her thighs were bigger than mine, and she could not get them laced all the way up. Even funnier was the fact that the boots were a size 12, and she wore a 10.

Another girlfriend wanted to try walking in a pair of my calf high lace up boots with 5" heels. She was amazed that I could walk in them. She was only a size 7.5 so they were quite large on her. But she did enjoy the experience. So I bought a similar pair of knee high boots for her. She loved them, but would not wear them outside.

Lois wore a size 11. She really liked a pair of Blue below the knee pull on boots with a 5" heel, that I got from Fredericks of Hollywood. We went to a museum with her children on Saturday, and she insisted that she wanted to wear them. She took no other shoes as a back up, and I enjoyed watching her walk around all day. She got quite a few looks from other women and men also. I guess a big part of the thrill was knowing that they were MY boots she was wearing.

The lady I am seeing now is the same size as I am. She always checks out my boots when we go out. And I can assume she will be asking to try them on when we get home. She has not failed yet.

    I must be blessed. :)

  6. OK. We tried. Let's try again!

I know I am guilty too. I said I was interested in a meet and I did not show.

I think there were a few basic problems from the start.

#1. A Sunday is not the best time for me. I am almost 2 hours from New York City. Saturday would be great for me.

#2. The time. 7pm is too late to start, especially on a sunday.

#3. The Holiday. Halloween is a good time for getting your feet wet (pun intended), but I had plans locally for halloween.

Now lets see who is interested in trying it again.

I would suggest we meet around noon on a saturday for lunch. I would hope one of our members living in NYC or very close, can choose an informal place for us. We can eat, chat and get to know each other a bit.

Then perhaps someone can suggest a few places to go. I know 8th street was the "Shoe District" a few years ago. Is it still? I know NYC offers tons of shopping places but I am not real familiar with the city myself. Perhaps a trip to Barney's, or Century 21 (which I hear has many many shoes), or even a visit to some tourist attraction.

I could see us visiting a museum, or other tourist attractions during the later afternoon. Or just some general shopping. I know NYC has lots of great bookstores and other fun stores.

Then we can end our day with dinner, perhaps by 5 or 6 pm. We can discuss any purchases we made, enjoy a meal and each others company.

Say our goodbye's and look forward to the next meeting.

I think we need to plan ahead, so, how does March 5, 2005 sound?

This could be a lot of fun. So let's do it!

  7. Great Minds Think Alike.....

I am just about the same, as far as their footwear is concerned, and of course nice liegs too. I seem to always look down first.

But I also really get turned on by tall woman, and / or women with very long hair.

I have a female friend right now that wears the same size boot as myself. That make for some fun at times.

  8. A First Date.

I met a woman through a singles listing online, almost a year ago. We have been chatting online, and exchanging emails quite regularly. Some days we have chatted for hours.

I would often send her a picture of a a good looking woman wearing high heeled boots and ask her opinon of the picture. After a while I would send pictures but comment more on the boots, and ask her opinion. She started asking me what was up with the boots all the time. I told her I really thought they looked great, and I really liked high heeled boots.

Then I started sending her pictures of just boots. All kinds of boots, but always with a high heel. She finally asked if I wore high heeled boots, and I told her I did. She at first asked me all the expected questions. I told her it was just something I enjoyed. She told me she did not think that was something she was comfortable with.

Well, we finally had our first date last Saturday night. We met at a nice, quiet restaurant, not far from her house. I arrived first, wearing my Harley Boots with 4" heels. Once she arrived, we were seasted at our table. We hit it off pretty well, and sat there talking about almost everything, except high heels, for 5 hours!

After dinner I walked her to her car and we kissed goodnight. That is when I asked her if I had embarrased her at all. She said "No, why?". I said "Because of my boots, did you even notice?". She told me she noticed as soon as she arrived, so I asker why she had not said anything.

She then told me she liked them, and she guessed she was not as uncomfortable as she thought she would be.

Well, we are going shoe shopping this Saturday, then out to dinner again.

I asked her if it was ok if I wore heels. She said she hoped I would.

    So guys! Go for it.

Hope this was not too Long Winded a Story. :)

  9. LaurieHeels,

    Yes Indeed!

I do like the look of the short socks with heels. It is hard to explain, but it has kind of a sexy, young look. It mixes the sexy grown up look of high heels with the young girl look of ankle socks.

It also makes me think the wearer is not trying to impress anyone, and just really enjoys wearing high heels but did not bother to change into stockings. I think it is more of a fetish thing than a fashion preference.

I would prefer to see stockings worn with nice heels in public. The ankle socks are for playtime.

If you decide to post some pics of you wearing ankle socks with your heels, I am sure I won't be the only one interested in seeing them.

  10. Nate,

Not my personal style, but I think they look great on you.

Having attended college many many years ago, if my memory serves me right, I seem to remember college campus attitudes as very open minded. Seems like the perfect place to "Street Heel".

I also think your outfit was quite appropriate for those shoes.

Have fun with it, and post more pics as you experiment with more styles.
