  1. I think that's Tech attempting a compliment:wave:

PS: Tech, is there any way you could edit those apostrophes out of the "leg's" in this thread title?

I think that was too. All the tech has to do is look at my photo's and see that it's not. Those are my legs! LOL:silly:

  2. Here is what don't ask don't tell is about. From someone who was a mid level supervisor in the Air Force. Don't ask don't tell does not keep gay's out of the us armed force's. What it does is keeps them from being open about it. By this I mean you can be gay but you can not be practicing it if that makes sense. So take me as a mid level supervisor. If a young airman came up to me and said he was gay under the old standard he would be gone. Under the new DADT he could be as gay as he want's as long as he or she is not cought in the act. meaning practicing in a gay act if you know what I mean. DADT was a good policy for awhile but with the way thing's are today it is old and out dated. I know of alot of people that used or said they where gay under the old policy to get out of the military. With DADT it made it alot harder to just say or gay and get out of the military. I am glad that they are finally getting rid of the policy. Cause what was determined as gay was up to the supervisor and commander. So take someone like us if we where in the military and cought wearing heel's and are commander seen us he could say we where gay even thought we may not be and with out question we are gone and there goes are military carrer out the window. So that is what DADT was truly like from someone who was on the inside.

  3. Ok I figured I would put up a few of my recent outings. First one was my last visit with my tharipist. We had a good talk we started talking about verious diffrent thing's. My outfit for the day was my black women's dress pant's, a gray colored dress shirt, and my new black boot's. The first thing she said when we started talking was that she just loved my boot's. We talked about alot of diffrent thing's. Then we started talking about how I dress. One of the questions she asked was witch one of the 5 sense I use the most? I really didn't understand her question but I told her my eye site. Then she asked me when I was a kid would my mother always take me shoping with her? To witch I said yes. My mom when I was a young kid would take me just about everywhere with her. She asked even when she was shopping for clothing? To witch I said yes. Here is what she had to say after that. She said one there is nothing wrong with the way I dress. She said she feels that the reason that I like to wear heels and certian other women's clothing is because of the way it look's. She said most men don't really care much about they way they look or the way something looks. She said she feels that since an early age being out shoping with my mother it was kind of implanted in my head over time that I was to be a vizual person. Meaning I am the type of person that likes thing's for the way they look not what gender they belong too! Not at first that didn't make much sense to me until I got home and started thinking about that. It all made a lot of sense to me. When I by something from witch ever side of the isle it may be from I don't look at weather it is made for a man or a women I look at the peace of clothing and by it based on how well I think it would look on me. Witch is very true for me. Like the last pair of boot's I bought. I bought them for 2 reason's 1 I liked the way they looked and 2 I figured there would be a lot of diffrent peace's of clothing that I had I could wear them with. Outing # 2 I had a fallow up visit the next day with the Dr that did the surgery on my sinus's. For this visit I decided to wear a pair of dark blue jeans, a greenish gray shirt and my high heeled boot's. Went in to the office for the post op visit. Nothing was said by anyone in the waiting area. Nor did anyone of the staff say anything. When the Dr came in I seen him look down at my boot's and then he did his thing. Nothing was ever said so I guess this visit was as normal of a visit as there could be. I did catch the Dr look at my boots a few diffrent times. Quite funny he is what I would reffer to as one of those manly type guys. Outing #3 So yesterday I had decided I was going to take the family out to see the new Tron movie. My outfit for the day was once again the same dark blue jeans from the day before, a Gray dress shirt and my black boot's. I really wish I would have taken a picture of this outfit becuase I think this out fit is one of the better looking ones I have done. I got dressed around noon or so the movie was not starting until around 7 ish so we figured we would go into town do someshopping and then go to eat and then to the movie. I can say this is by far the longest and bravest outing I have had wearing a pair of heels since I started wearing them. The great thing about these boot's is that they are incogneto for the most part with the right pair of pants. I spent 9hrs + in these boot's and my feet felt great after takeing them off. They have a hard rubber sole so they do not make much noise at all when walking. The toe look's alot like coyboy boot's. My first stop on my outing was to are local walmart this place was packed, but I went in and did my thing. I did see a few people look but other than that nothing major. Then it was on to craker barrel to eat. No one on the way in even paied attention to what I was wearing. On the way out I did hear one lady tell another one that she loved my boot's. We went to see the new Tron after that and it was dark in the place so no one payed no never mind. I really didn't want to take the boot's off when I got home but I had to had to go to bed. So there are 3 outing's with in 3 days in my new boot's and nothing was every said. I am getting to the point where I love these boots to death and am really glad i bought them.

  5. Ok, as you all know I have been coming up with all kinds of reason's not to wear a skirt with heels. My biggest reason is cause I say I can't find an shoe's that look good with this or that. Well I think I don't have an reason not too anymore. The other day I had posted about picking up some boot's at kmart. Well when I bought them I was not sure as to how they would look with a skirt escpcially my dark blue Izod skirt. So this morning since I didn't have anything better to do I figured I would take some pictures and see how they looked. So my surprise I think they look great. I have been challanged twice by both my old and new counsular to wear a skirt and heels, but I never do. Now I think I can accepet there challange. Here are a few picture's of 2 diffrent outfit's I am thinking about wearing this week. It's been quite cold and snowy here the past few day's so it may be all dependent on the weather. Tell me what you guys think! The picture posted is me in my Izod jeans skirt, with suntan leggs hose, and my boot's. The other picture I have posted in this thread would be of me wearing a suit skirt, suntan hose, and my black pump's with a purple shirt. Let me know what everyone thinks.

  6. Well ok I figured I would give a little update on my lastest outing. I have been looking for a pair of boot's that I could wear with jeans and a skirt. Looking around on the net I had found a pair at kmart I thought I may like. Well it just so happend that I had somewhere I needed to be so I figured I would stop and see if I could find them. I wore my LEI MJ's, black trouser socks, jeans and a black shirt. I went into the kmart and low and behold they where there. I went to try them on and everytime I did I would have people watch me, so I just got to the point to where I said the hell with it and tried them on. The first pair I pulled off the shelf fit great. I bought a couple pairs of boot socks to go with the boot's. I took everything to my car and changed shoe's. My biggest concern with the boot's was how much noise they would make. Normally I wouldn't care, but i was going into a adult education center to setup finacial aid I didn't want to make to much of a scene. Low and behold they hardly made any noise. i went about my app with nothing said. I wore these brand new boots for just over an hour right off the shelf and they felt great. they are really comfortable and will go great with a few skirts I have. Once I get a chance I will post a few picture's in my album for everyone to see.

  7. Ok so I know it has been awhile since I have posted something in here trying to figure out what to wear with my foini pumps! Well I think I have gotten it figured out. The last time I wore these pumps out and about was when I went to see my counslar. I wore them with a pair of black men's dress pant's, black trouser socks, and a men's dress shirt. Well today I figured I needed to add a new pair of dress pant's since the other one's I wore last time where just a tad to small. I went to my local thrift store and could not find any men's dress pant's that would look right with those shoe's. The last pair I had look great with the shoe's cause of the way the fabric is, the fabric on my mens pants I wore the last time was light and had a little bit of a shine to them. Anyway I went to the women's side and found a pair of pants that I thought would look great. These pants have just about the same feel and texture to them and when you look at them it's hard to tell there are women's except for the fact that the zipper and the button are different. While I was in that section I found a nice dress skirt that I thought would go great with those shoe's. The only other thing I needed was a few men's dress shirt's with some color to them. I hate looking for men's clothing cause most of it is life less and has no color and what not. Anyway I bought 3 new dress shirts, a light purple, a olive green, and a silverish grey. When I got home I figured I would take a few picture's and put them on here and let everyone tell me what they think I should wear for my next visit. I do not have a picture of the other 2 shirt's since my battery was going dead on my camera. Anyway the first out fit is the women's dress pant's with the light purple shirt, the foini pumps, and suntan hose, and the last set of picture's is the same light purple shirt, with the black dress skirt and suntan hose. I would like everyone to let me know what they think, and if there is any addition's or change's that they would make. Thanks for all your input! The first two pictures are of me standing and sitting in the pants with the purple shirt, with the foini pumps and suntan hose. The second two picture's are of me standing and sitting in the skirt with the same shirt and hose.

  8. I would first like to start by saying hi and welcome. I would also like to offer some advise to you that was given to me by a very smart and wise lady. When it come's to wearing heel's or any other article of women's clothing for that matter the worst thing you can do is hide it. By hiding it like she said "It make's the person you are hiding it from feel like you are hiding more than just that from them and that you can't be trusted". I'm not saying toss on some heel's and stand there and talk to your wife about heels while wearing them. What I'm getting at is just set her down some day at some point with out no kids and talk to her about it and see where it goes. Just do not force anything on her she may not have an issue with it then again she might. Like my couslar told me once it may be one of those thing's where"you have to agree to disagree" if that make's sense? I think the fear that most women have when it comes to this is 1. Is my man gay? 2. Does my man want to be a woman? 3. What will the family of my kids friends think? The list could go on and on. For me I am at a point right now with my wife where she complain's about it but I have went out a few place's with her and my girl's in heels and she never really said much about it. If you look back through some of my post's you will see my wife does not like or approve of me in heels or skirt's for that matter. My girls how ever stand behind me on the subject and my oldest doughter's best friend knows I wear heels and skirt's and is cool with it. Now I have no idea if her mom and dad know's if they do they have never said anything to me. So anyway that is a little peace of advise that I hope helps.

  9. If you are male, and you:

    a) Simply want to 'mix and match' men's and women's clothes - then you 'freestyle'.

:( Want to LOOK LIKE a woman - then you 'crossdress'

    c) Wish to FEEL LIKE a woman - then you are a 'transvestite'

    d) Wish to BE A WOMAN - then you are 'transgendered' or 'transexual'.

Thanks pussyinboots for your comment. I am deff the first letter a. Like I said I was just trying to mess with some different posies to show my legs more that was all. There was NO intent on trying to look, feel,or act like a women. So I was also hoping to try to revive this thread in a good way. Guess I didn't.:(

  10. Your legs look quite good. But, I've often wondered why any man that wears high heels or cross dresses wants to act like a woman -- especially when posing for pictures. Are you trying to compare yourself to a female similarly dressed? And, what would your wife think and/or say when/if she found these pictures or walked in on you while you were posing for them (unless, of course, she took them ) ?

While I've worn girls shoes since I was 2 or 3 years old, I've never though of myself as anything other than a boy wearing girls shoes, stockings, etc.

Well for the most part I dont act like a women or look like one for that matter. The point of those pose's was to show my legs not to act or look like a women. For the most part I do not even try to pass, as far as crossdressing goes. Are we all tech. crossdressing? Yes we are, but its my oppinion and my only a crossdresser is someone who trys to pass there selfs off as the opposite gender. So with that being said I was not trying to do anything but find some posies that showed my legs more that is all. As far as my wife goes I hate to say it but ya she would be pissed and not happy about the pictures, but it really is a moot poiny since she does not like the fact I wear heels and skirta anyway.

  11. I think your decision to wear heels to your counseling session was great. Your thinking that she was already aware that you wear heels from reading your file is right on the mark. So, she probably expected you to show up wearing a pair of women's shoes.

You've mentioned in the past that you were seeing a counselor. What is she trying to deal with? Is your cross dressing a major point in your discussions?

There are quite a few members that have sought the advice from counselors about their cross dressing and wearing woman's shoes and, from what they've told me, the bottom line of their discussions was that the counselor could not convince the patient to quit but only how to handle their cross dressing, making them more comfortable in their own mind and removing the idea that the practice was wrong.

I wonder if this is also your experience?

No I started seeing a counselor to help me control my stress levels. It was suggested by my Dr due to me ha img a lot of migraines. At some point with seeing the first lady we some how got on the subject when she noticed me warring nylons with mend shoes and pants. She asked me about it so we started talking about it more. I was wearing skirts at the time just not out in public. I never entended on things going like that but they did. Now when I started see this new one it was not anything to do with the heels and skirts. It was more do to stress and what not. I was kind of hesitant on wearing what I did cause I was unsure of how she would react, but I also knew she would read my file from when I seen the last lady. I was just pleasantly surprised with are descussion. So I hope this sheds some light on why I started seeing a counselor.

  12. Scrappy.... My wife and I go out together in heels too. Sometimes we even wear matching pairs!! It's fun, and never has been a problem. Sounds like we both have cool wives! sf

My wife does not wear heel's unless she absolutley has too. She really don't care much for me wearing heel's. Some days she complain's about it and then other's she does not. I think it just depends on what type of mood she is in.

  13. Well I figured thatvi would give an update on my last outing. The other day I went to see mu new counslar. It has been over a year since I seen one. My last one had quit and moved on else where but had transferred my file to the new one. So I knew she would read up on everything that was in there. At first when I got cleaned up I was going to wear heels, then I changed my mind mainly cause I was worried about what the new one who by the way is female too would think. After giving it some fought I said well if she read my file I knew she would see that I wear skirt and heels. Anyway I choice to wear my 4" patient leather pumps with black dress pants and a shirt with black groused socks. When I went in there was no one in the waiting room. After she was done with her patient she came out to get me she never said a word. So as we are sitting there talking we got on the subject of me, skirts, heels and my wife. We where talking and she lookd at me and said I give you credit cause there was no way I could where those and you walked and handle your self great. We talked about some other issues. As I was leaveing her next patient was waiting in the lobby. As I was leaving said to me I love your shoes they look good on you. So over all I had a good visit with my new counslar. I think we will get along great.

  14. I have thought about it a lot, and I think men in heels are great, as long as they are honest about it.

For example, if you meet a guy, and he is wearing heels, or maybe he talks about them, then he is being honest about it and shows confidence in it.

But, if my boyfriend of however many years has been secretly wanting to wear heels, or has been, and just springs it on me then I would hate it. I like open, honest people who are comfortable enough with themselves to show their likes and dislikes with others, even if there is a big fear of rejection. It's much better than keeping it a secret, I think.

Ok even thought I am obviously not female I have to respond to this.

SarahLou I can not agree with you more about the comment you just made. Awhile back some one I work with got ahold of a picture that I ahd out on twitter of me wearing heels. That in it's self is not really that big of a deal, but the fact that he took that picture and sent it out to a bunch of people that we work with that's the problem. For a long time I was rather upset about it, but as time wore on I got over it. Now how did I manage that well by being honest and open. I have worked with several of the women at my place of employment that have been bold enough to come right out and ask me. I tell the the honest truth and do not hide it. I have found that most of the time when I have come right out and told them the way I feel they are cool with it. The most recent one I can think of was I switched station's with this other person and worked with a lady who is a very nice person and is quite for the most part. As we are sitting there half way through the 24hr shift she out of the blue ask's me about the skirt's and heels I wear. At first I was quite dumbfounded by this cause I would have never expected this from her. After gathering my thought's and getting over the shock I told her how I felt. After I got done explaining my though's and my oppinion's she just looked at me and said "Well you do have the leg's too pull off the skirt's and heels. As a matter of fact you look better in a skirt and heels than I do!" So I guess what I am getting at is that most of the women that I have met while wearing heel's have asked me question's out of curiosity and I have answered them honestly and trufully and I think they respect me for that. I even had one tell me that she just love's the fact that I am brave enough to be me and am honest and I don't hide the fact that I am me.

  15. I voted on this quite awhile ago, but I figured I would give an update on my thought's and where I am at the present. Well after some long and hard thinking and looking and going out here and there but never really anyplace public I broke the ice (so to speak) by going to a dentist visit in some MJ's I had just bought! Was I nervious, you bet I was. Mainly for the fact that the dentist was a male. After seeing a few of the women in the office and them complmenting me on my shoe's that made it eaiser. After this visit it was off to the race's! Now I wear heel's for the most part when I want and where I want! My only fear is running into someone I know (mainly faimly or kids friends pearent's) and there reaction's. Most of the reaction's I get are nill, I have gotten a few stares, but that is to be expected. Like a theripist told me one time. Even women get staired at in a good and bad way. There is always going to be someone out there that does not like the way you look. So with that I just do my thing! The only thought I put into it is "Would this be a place a women would wear heels?" Those are just my 2 cents!

  16. Although I voted No I will explain my thought's. While yes those do qulify as heel's becuase obviously thay are not flat's. They are desceate enough to where it would be really hard to tell if they where men's or women's. But if that is all the wife will let you wear with her out and about I guess something is better than nothing.

  17. I gave up hiding my heels when I realised everyone noticed them anyway...

    Cheers

    Heel-Lover

I don't try to hide the fact that I am wearing heels when Im out anymore too. It's point less, people are going to look if they want and most people don't really care. As far as the type's I wear Mj's for the most part with mostly a rounded toe and verying height's. I do have a pair of patten pumps I wear sometime's and a pair of t-straps. Heel styles are mostly a thinker heel. It just depends on my mood. I think if you stick with a black or brown shoe with a closed toe and a thick heel most people don't notice!
