  1. Well it has been awhile but I'm back. When the forum changed I forgot my password and my old email I used was hacked so I closed it. So now I am back with a new name, but still the same old me. I hope that maybe there is some way that the mod can merge my two accounts together. If not oh well. Anyway I Am still doing heeling whenever I want, for the most part. With the weather being what it is here now in Ohio I really haven't had much of a chance to get out. For those that are going to ask i use to go by thescrappycoco. So I look forward to talkjng with everyone again and helping others that where once like me out of their box.

  2. Again, why do guys think they have to look like a woman to wear a dress? I'm sorry, but that's a peculiar mindset that makes absolutely NO sense.

Jeff I couldn't agree more. We talk so much about wanting fashion freedom yet we hide the fact that we are guys that like to dress different. Until we step up and say look just because I have a twig and two giggle berries doesn't mean I have to be stuck in the same old boring stuff. Will we ever be able to wear whatever we want.

  3. It's kind of funny i came across this post. It is so true that men and womens feet are no different structure wise. The only difference you will find is size most women tend to have smaller feet becuase then tend to be smaller than most men. That and like someone else said they tend to spend more time taking care of there feet so there for the do look better for the most part.

  4. Well this I would not expect with all of those pictures wearing a skirt and some of those looking quite passible as a normal guy sort of thing one would have thought that you went skirted most of the time. Now as for that kilt in order to fit into my budget I had to make my own and that absorbed three yards of material of green and black and other color tartan all hand sewn as the sewing machine is also not in my budget and it came out great. Now I do know that some kilt makers will weave the fabric pattern and that can cost. So is there any chance of finding your fabric already made.

My biggest thing as far as a kilt goes is I would want my clans pattern which I could get from scottland but just that material would cost me an arm and leg. Sure there many company's out that make cheaper kilts, but for me I think I would want to stay true to my Scottish heritage. As far as pictures of me in a skirt on here yes there are quite a few but with that being said I don't wear them publicly for the most part. If hat helps.

  5. I've just read through your thread. I hesitate to comment, because, well, it's not a problem I've ever encountered. But if you don't get on with men's fit trousers and you don't want to be a woman, have you thought of 'going Scottish' and wearing the kilt? I think a man with the right legs looks fabulous in a kilt, and with all those pleats you'd could walk with swagger and confidence. Just a thought.

To answer your question honestly. First I am Scottish my mothers madden name was McCutcheon. So I am of Scottish decent. I have found my family crest and family tarten pattern. I have thought about wearing a kilt but just don't have the money because a true kilt is quite expensive. As far as wearing a skirt I dont just because I'm not confident enough to wear one. Becuase lets face it, it doesnt matter if your a man or a women it takes a certain level of confidence to wear one. I think that s because people look at you different in a skirt. Why that is i have yet to understand. Some of my female friends that have seen me in one tell me I should because I have the legs to pull one of (skirt or a kilt). As far as men's pants go I went to women's because I hate the way men's fit me. I like me jeans to fit and not be so loose that the crotch is down to the knees. I do thank you for the honest comment, and thank you for your honest opinion.

  6. I think there is more to it than just the shoe. To me it depends on what the shoe looks like and what it's paired with. By this I mean you see someone wearing heels with jeans if the shoe is a plain shoe of some sort to me it means that the person wears heels a lot and is not trying to draw attention to there selfs. Now you take that same person same outfit and change the shoes to something more flashy and fun to me that says that person is looking to have fun and is happy and confident. That's how I see things from a man in heels and also looking at how people carry them selfs when out and about.

  7. I would just like to say that I have started a blog that talks about everything from my life, to my style, to just about anything I want. I would really like to have some people to talk to on my blog. If you would like to check it out take a look at it and please join.

Hope to see some of you all there

  8. Here is my email to her Hello Cassandra, My name is Steve a friend of mine (Steve the owner of Active skin) had posted on a website that I visit that you wanted to talk to some men like me. By this I mean men in high heels and other items that would be considered women's domain. So what would you like to know? I'll answer any questions that you would like to know. I'll give you a little bit of info about me to maybe help you along. 1st let me start by saying I'm a 38 year old strait male. I have been married for 17 yrs and am a father of 2 girls ages 16 & 12. I also work in the public safety field. I live in north central Ohio just south of cedar point.* A little about my style. Whatever I wear no matter what is I do so as a male. I don't try to pass myself off as the opposite sex. As far as my style I try to mix things from both sides of the isle. For the most part I wear women's jeans or pants. I try to then pair it with some sort of men's shirt. I then pair it with a high heel of some sort. Most of the heels that I wear a not flashy and too "girly" The heels I do wear are from the women's side of the isle and have an avg height of over 3". * I then wear pantyhose of some sort. For the post part I stick to the typical colors. I will also wear trouser socks from time to time. I also wear skirts to but not to often since I really don't have the confidence to wear them in public. Now as far as wearing I wear whatever I'm wearing where ever I want to, but at the same time I also use my head. I think about things and say to my self "could I see someone one else (male or female) wearing this where I am going? As far as work I couldn't wear heels and things to work because of the nature of my job. For the most part all of my coworkers male and female know how I dress and are cool with it. I have even had a few of the women tell me that is they had my legs that they would never wear pants. So this a brief look into my style. Feel free to email mail me any questions that you may have I will be glad to answer them.* Steve G Ps* If you would like I can email you a picture of what I would consider my style. Just let me know.* Sent from my iPad I'll let everyone know what she says if she says anything.

  9. Scrappycoco, you're legs look amazing in that last pic of you in the Lei maryjanes. Please don't cover up your legs in boots! I love the idea of balancing traditionally "masculine" and "feminine" articles of clothing.

This is my bias, as someone that dresses up for everything, but I think you should stick with the heels and not do sneakers, loafers, or the like. A stacked heel like Heel-Lover mentioned would look good, but I think you can do the Lei maryjanes. I agree that the patent heels look to dressy for the looks you have paired them with, and I think a black dressy "mens" shirt, possibly with embroidering or something else that might elevate it would lot better than the original shirt. The white turtle neck is close, but it feels like something is missing.

I think you could do black tights, but like I said, what a shame to cover your legs. I say do a dressed-up denim skirt look instead of a casual one. Hose, the heels, a black dressy shirt. The black of the shirt will help pull it together. Have fun! Can't wait to see what you go with. :wavey:

Well thanks for the advise. It kind of nice to hear advise and compliments from the ladies. I have had a few women that I work with tell me I have great legs for a guy and they wish there's where as good. Anyway I have had to get rid of the black patent pumps. They came apart at the seam so I got a new pair of black pumps. They are a round toe pump that a just black. I think they go really well with the skirt and suntan hose.

Let me know what you think?

  10. Well here is my outfit for the day. I normally wouldn't wear heels with this skirt but I have been trying to find one of my pair of heels that would look good with this skirt. I know there are people here that wont like the mens shirt with the skirt, but I am just not comfortable in all women's clothing plus I don't think this looks too bad. Just figured I would pop up a picture and see what everyone's thought's where about how the shoe's look with everything. The outfit is a Browns polo shirt, with a just below the knee kaki skirt, nude hose, black LEI Mary Janes and a black belt. Let me know what everyone thinks.

  11. Jaunt #141, 12/30/2011:

Little over ten minutes and a couple of blocks later, I passed by a throng of a dozen or so young black teenaged boys, naturally, when they saw a man sporting tight jeans, thigh boots AND a purse, they laughed out loud and threw a few "WTF's?" my way as they passed me by.

Now see if it would have been me and they said that to me I would have looked to see if there where sagging there pants, which i'm going to gather and say they where, but I could be wrong. I would have then yelled back to them "Hay are you avalible?" Then wait for a return responise if any. Most punks like that don't even know what the sagging of the pants even means.

  12. Hi everyone,

It’s been a while, more than a year in fact since I’ve been here, but lately I’ve been wanting more and more to come back.

To put you in context, about two years ago I moved in with my girlfriend, which I love very much, and at the time I got rid of all my high heels. I had about 10 pairs at the time... I didn’t mind and thought I was over it. Since she’s a heel lover I was pleased enough to see her wearing high heels and loving them.

But lately, in fact for the last couple months, all the new styles in store are making me want to buy a few pairs and wear them around the house. My god those platform peep toes are just gorgeous and I’d love to have a pair. I can buy pretty much any brand I fit in size 11 or even 10.

The thing is, my girlfriend and I never discussed my affection for high heels... and now it’s coming back to haunt me. From discussion I had with her in the past I know for a fact she thinks men who like women’s shoes are either gay or in the closet, which I’m not. I’m very afraid of her reaction if I discuss this issue with her.

I’d love to buy these : http://www.heels.com/womens-shoes/sure-thing-black-silk.html or these and wear them around the house...

Any ideas how to handle this?

Ok here is my 2 cents on this.

    1. Don't hide it from her, by hiding it from her that will make her think that you are ashamed of the fact that you like wearing high heels. Then she will start to wonder what else you may be hiding from her!

    2. Be ready to accept the fact that she is probably not going to like and accept it, but who knows. If she doesn't try to work out some sort of compromise. What ever you do don't for the issue with her that will make it worse!

Other than that it will be up to you to try to figure out what you are going to do from that point. Good luck and hope things come out ok.

  13. honestly this subject is seriously getting old, it seems like it is bought up on here every other day or so. i am a man i wear high heels, do i care that some women don't like it, no i don't, i am still going to do it. there are some women that are ok with it, even some women that are turned on by it. it's life. we all have different turn ons and likes, accept that and move on.

I love this response. There are just people that are not going to like you no matter what. We can not change what people think or say about you the only thing we can do is be happy with are selfs.

  14. I recently started wearing a 4" stiletto out (yes, the only pair I bought for the kinky birthday gift for the bf nearly a year ago! ) , and, amazingly, seem to have gotten hooked onto them! However, I think I'm a bit wobbly and unsteady in them. Not as bad as they would lead you to believe in comedies, but more than I ideally should be.

So I looked up articles, and apparently we're supposed to 'train' in shorter, broader heels for months first while working up to the high stiletto. Ugh. I would hate to do that. Besides the fact that I really don't want to have to spend cash on a wardrobe of several progressively higher heels, I absolutely hate short ones with broad heels. I think even my flats look better, and are more comfortable. For me, it's either flats or full-on 4" stilettos.. I'm not interested in anything in between.

So, I guess my question is, can you go from flats to high heels without spending months in transition stages? I thought I could, but every article out there is trying to dissuade me.

I wish I had a full-length mirror at home to practice with. I've walked around in them at home several times but can't really tell how I look when I do.

Can't I just train as I go? I always have the bf's hand to hold on to. :penitent:

Ok these tips are coming from a man that wears 4" stillettos a lot. The best thing I can say is learn to walk in them at home. Make sure you take smaller steps, keep your head up and core tight. I wore mine around the house for months before I went anywhere in them. Once I did go places in them i got a lot of compliments from women about how well I handle my self in them.

  15. Well I figure it's time to give a update on my most recent outing. I decied to go out and about with the family. Are first stop was Big Lot's. While in the store I bumped into my late uncle's girlfriend. I am not sure if she seen my heels or not. I tried to keep them hidden for the most part. After we where done talking as I was walking around I noticed another guy in heeled boots. This is the first time that I have been out and about in my area and seen someone else in heels. It was a good outing I don't think anyone noticed I was wearing heels. I am now to a point where I wear heels when I want and where I want. I will try to keep everyone posted on my trips.

  16. Jeff my man you are far more bold than I could ever be! While I do like your look with the thigh high boot's on you the look great. On me well I don't think they would work. I just wanted to give you a shout out and say keep up the good work!
