  1. ok I just bout these boots here in size 10 Posted Image

but they seem to be to small, feel more like a size 7 or 8 though the sticker on them does say size 10 now I own two other pair of boots and mules from pleaser that are size 10 and they seem to fit just right or a tad bigger.

Is there different sizes being used here? and Whats the best way to stretch them out?

    Hi Highheeltrained,

I have the same pair of boots in white. I bought them in german ebay under the label "erogance" but they are identical with the 8899 model from Ellie or Pleaser, obviously they are coming from the same chinese manufacture.

Luckily I knew in advance that the sizes of this model are completely wrong. So I ordered them in size US 14. The most conversion tables are telling that US 14 = EU 46 but my true size is EU 44/45. I received them a little bit too narrow but after some wearing they feel comfortable. I think they are a true US 12. I have the same problem with my right foot like you - but with all shoes! Couldn't it be that you are constructed asymmetrical in the same way as me? Typically you are remarking this asymmetry at first when your shoes are much too narrow.

Concerning the quality I can't complain. In may opinion it's OK. I can't expect super quality for a price of only 60 euros.

    nice greetings

    micha

  2. Ive been reading a few sections, catching up on the fact i havent had chance to visit a lot recently. The guys question is filling with topics and discussions which brought thoughts to my mind.

We not have threads on 'girly heels' and wearing skirts with outfits and how we behave in a skirt ie crossing legs for modesty etc and yea the leg contest is a bit of a laugh.

It just crossed my mind with some thoughts. Dont get me wrong im all for anyone doing what they please, and whatever anyone chooses to do i dont have an issue with it, however isnt wearing a skirt and saying cross your legs and keep your knees together (as i read in a post) making people behave like people see women do? And yeah some shoes with pretty bows and bright pink colours etc can be cute but IMHO are we not better letting the women decorate themselves with these and their outfits. And as i said i know it was for fun bit arent nearly all the pictures in the leg contest almost all full womens outfits skirts hose etc. I mean come on lads wheres the wearing heels as a man going these days in this guys section??

For me if im gonna wear heels, its cos i like how they feel and look etc, but i still wear them my own way as a man and behaving like one, and wear heels that can coorsinate with a mans outfit, and personally I think it would do us all a favour for widerspread acceptance if we werent trying to look and behave like women as well as wearing their shoes.

what are everyones thoughts on this

    Hi New Look,

my answer is quite simple: I never cared if the posters are heterosexual guys or girls, lesbians, male gays, crossdressers, shemales or transsexuals.

    All said already by others.

  3. Hi to all, here my answer to the original question: No, I have never worn "girly" shoes at work when visiting customers. And I don't intend to do it in future. As developer of software I'm working the most time at home. Enough occasions to wear my most believed heels the whole day ... On the other side I have never been afraid of meeting by accident one of my customers in the city. If it should happen I have sworn myself not to grow red and stutter embarassed. I would probably say something like "Ouch - now you have got me on my most beloved footwear! Concerning shoes I'm a little bit crazy but aren't my shoes also appropiate for a guy?" I think that after giving the question back a honest and good discussion could develop. Until now this never happened. Usually I'm wearing in the streets of Frankfurt more "androgynous" than "girly" styles (cowgirl- and block heel boots). But on days with a cool mood also high heeled stiletto boots over drain pipe jeans - like the cutest girls with the actual boots fashion 8)

  4. This issue is leading always again to the question: what is rational or reasonable? The answers of the orthopaedists are too simple. They only see the possible damage to the feet but they don't care for other aspects. The neurologists are caring for your brain but are neglecting your psyche. The psychologists are the worst pack - they don't respect your own will. They altogether claimed always to know what is healthy and what is ill. Only fifty years ago homosexuality and transsexuality were considered as disease. Many doctors in the 60ies believed to be progressive when declaring their patients(!) as ill because nobody can't be punished for his disease. We altogether were deported in the Germany of the 40ies as perverts to a concentration camp or even to the gas chambers of Auschwitz. Nowadays that's luckily bad history. I accept highheeledtrained's wish to wear high heels forever. He has made up his decision and I have to respect him. I'm not applauding because I still want to be capable of doing hiking or climbing tours in the mountains. But my tattoo is forever. Meanwhile I have stretched my earlobes up to 0.8 cm. I can't really explain why I'm doing this. When cruising on the "bad" canadian websites I simply felt that I want to wear also ear tunnels. I have set a personal limit of 1 cm. I think that modest styles are looking nice. May be that "highheeltrained" has forgotten the option to say: until here and then stop! There will never be a tattoo in my face - simply my personal limit 8) Besides I don't believe that it's so easy to get chained to high heels forever. I had never any problems with walking one day on 5.5'' heels and the other day on flat sneakers. I'm an oldie who started his high heels career at an age of 48. I can't imagine that a young guy couldn't do the same. Highheeltrained, you are feeling hurt on flat shoes because you like it. It's the fantasy in your brain to be forever chained to high heels

  5. Stumbled upon pure luck onto the pierre silber site and found a pair of AWESOME boots.

    http://www.pierresilber.com/fetishboots.html

This is love at first sight but I'm in a dilemma now...at 100 they're not quite in my comfort spending zone (which I guess can be easily remedied with a few months of no shopping) and I don't think I can actually wear heels this high for some months to come. On the other hand, it's a closeout item and I'm afraid it'll be gone if I take too long in deciding 8) Does anyone know of other places that carry these boots? And what about the service at Pierre Silber?

    thanks in advance ^^

May be that you have more skills in wearing extreme heels than me. My 7'' sandalettes from "The Highest Heels" became my Waterloo. I measured nearly a heel height of 19 cm. I couldn't even stand on them without bowed knees. Not talking about walking in these torture shoes. Thumbs down!

  6. Thanks all,

    here is todays look....

    cheers

    Heel-Lover

I'm not a fan of jackets and ties but your outfit deserves a huge compliment 8)

PS Perfect combination of colours! Only the black in your face is too dark (*grin*). I like the colour of your pumps. After the dark jacket and the dark skirt there should be a counterpart to your rosé coloured tie.

  7. For a really stunning effect, try them with white jeans.

As self-appointed colour pope I'm protesting. Red overknees need blue jeans together with a white t-shirt. Or a light blue mini skirt again with a white shirt. In my opinion red is a problematical colour. It should be worn in combination with light blue rsp. dark grey and white. May be that red/white/red is ok. The polish-austrian style

Last year I have won an ebay auction on narrow vintage drain pipe jeans. I got them only in the problematic colour light yellow. I'm wearing these sexy jeans only in black-yellow or in black-yellow-white. Here a picture from the bee micha with black platform boots, light yellow drain pipes and a black shirt

    http://www.mbuenger.de/pics/104-0472_img.jpg

The boots or the shirt could also be white. Here another picture of me in red-blue-white. I'm sure that you will like it

    http://www.mbuenger.de/pics/103-0365_img.jpg

    nice greetings 8)

ps completely black is also wonderful

  8. I like the girly heels. I only wear them inside. I prefer 5" to 6" heels and I like platforms. Doesn't matter the height of the platform, as long as there's a platform. I love the chunky heels, cone heels and wedge heels. Strappy, peeptoes, slides, etc. It doesn't matter. Black, clear and cork are my favs.

    Hi JB,

at home in privacy I can wear everything! Fetish platform boots with 8'' heels, high heel sandalettes with thin straps, extreme patent pumps with metallic stiletto heels, peep toe pumps with pompons or flower decorations, ballet boots, pony boots and so on ... thats all crap for an alldays high heels wearing on the street. For guys as for girls!

In my opinion classical black, white rsp. red leather pumps and black, brown rsp. white boots with 4'' or 5'' high heels are always a good choice for the street. They may be pointy or with a rounded toe box, the actual fashion. The sole could be flat or with a low platform. Worn under flared jeans or with boots over skinny jeans. Is that girly?

If you say yes, I like wearing girly heels on the street. But I'm wearing outdoors also cowgirl boots and the classical platform styles. I always thought that block heels are not very girly.

PS I'm learning: the most girls here in Germany have worn during the summer sneakers and flip-flops. I'm recommending Doc Martins boots or combat boots from the "Bundeswehr" (our army) for the winter. They have so sexy broad girly 0.5'' heels. But only with nice flower decorations or pink pompons. There must be a difference between genders! I don't want to be attacked on the street as perverse pansy because of wearing the typical female adidas sneakers or even low heeled ladies boots:mecry:

  9. I have voted I have no partner .

I live together with my parents , but they disapprove .

I wear heels as often as I could into my room .

My shoes and boots are exposed into my bedroom .

Last week was the first time i went out in Brussels shopping for shoes ,but din't find a pair .Four days later I bought 6 pair of shoes and boots at a friend . I tried them on an wear them as often as possible .

    Prutske

I have no partner like you. My dearest friend died last year suddenly by a brain infarct. Now I'm alone again.

  10. I have mid heeled (7 cm ) cowboy boots and i wear this with a long jeans and i find this is very discretly , ,, ,,

Yes, I'm wearing also this style on the street. Cowboy boots are in my opinion always male boots! I believed always that brazilian people are tolerant in fashion. Only an illusion?

I said in another thread that I have switched one gear back for not provocating my turkish neighbours without need. Since one year I have never again earned any bad comment from my turkish macho guys when I was wearing my 8-cm-cowboy/cowgirl boots. Seems that they have simply accepted that their "pansy guy" is wearing high heeled boots on the street. Or are they even secretely jealous on me?

At the moment peace is ruling.

  11. I don't really see why it should be necesarry to wear a skirt, since most women don't wear skirts with their heels anyway. At least not around here. I think people look more when you're wearing them with jeans is that it's less obvious and they need to have a second look. If your wearing a skirt, the heels will be right in your face and there's no need for a second look.

Who has said that it's necessary for guys to wear a skirt? IMO your statement is a little bit unreflected. I have worn two or three times also a skirt in public. Because I'm convinced that guys have the good right to wear skirts. But it was never a duty for me. I'm wearing always what I like!

  12. Finding nice boots that aren't SHINY are such a rare thing, so when I found this listing on eBay for some ankle-high leather boots, I had to jump at the chance.

I have some nice black leather ones that are knee-high, but I'm just trying to expand my colour selection. Since they're medium, I'm thinking I should play it safe and do the "Pleaser size +1" math since I think Pleaser makes ones similar to these. They'll be in by the end of the week, so I'll know soon enough!

You are so right! Finding nice boots in 12/13 US sizes (EU 44/45) at a reasonable price isn't easy. Italian Heels, Jean Gaborit or Fuss are offering interesting but very expensive alternatives. I like my white slip on overknees with 4'' heels. They are produced in China in an astonishing good quality from pig leather. I got them from german Ebay under the label "erogance" for 60 euros but they are definitely identical with the corresponding pleaser styles.

I'm hating these boring shiny fetish styles from manmade materials - they are only good for cheese feet 8)

PS the patent 5'' stiletto boots on my avatar are made from true leather but they were naturally really expensive!

  13. Yeah, one of these days I'm gonna dress up like a guy and surprise everybody!

Meanwhile my best chance to shock others is wearing mountain boots in the city of Frankfurt ...

  14. Glamour Boots has recently added the "Emily" to their catalog, which is a variation on the Kelly. Here's the link:

    http://www.glamourboots.com/items/casual/Emily/emily.html

I'm not sure if they can be ordered directly through Jean Gaborit Euroboots, but I intend to find out. Has anyone had experience with ordering boots through GlamourBoots? Decisions, decisions...

The internet address of Jean Gaborit is http://www.euroboots.fr or http://euroboots.biz It shouldn't be a problem to send them an order directly in french or english. I did it in french because I'm always interested in practicing foreign languages. That worked quite well!

  15. Does any one own or have experience with shoes made by this company? I like the basic style that is offered, but rarely see them in a size 42. Any feedback would be appreciated

    Hi Mskim61,

you won't find them in Google or Ebay under "Lorenzini" The correct name is "Gianmarco Lorenzi".

I have no own experience with this company. They have really nice shoes and boots but I'm not ready to pay Gucci or Prada prices like 1000 or 2000$ for a pair of stylish boots 8)

In german Ebay you can find a company (PrimaFila) which is offering regularly GML shoes. Sometimes also by auctions. I wish you a successful bidding. The cost for freight and import tax should be a minor problem (*lol*)

  16. Hi kneehighs, it seems to me that you have the money for jetting criss-cross the world. Don't understand me wrong, I'm not jealous on you. For me a travel through the world is an unique experience which I'm doing utmost one or two times in my life. We can forget any climate discussion if the billions of chinese or indians would one day claim to live like you ...

  17. Since the wife got a new pair of shoes (see here, I figured she wouldn't mind if I got a pair myself. The funny thing is, when I tried them on in the store, absolutely NOBODY gave it a second thought, even the lady browsing through with her daughter. I got home, and just started imagining...

Maybe it's time to "test the waters" in the real world.

What do you think of this?

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/8124288@N06/1218128206/

Check out my other pictures of me wearing the same outfit with different shoes.

I've just got this urge to wear that outfit to the mall Saturday, and if I'm feeling really gutsy, maybe even walk into Macy's and try on a pair of these:

    Posted Image

Trouble is, the price tag on those is a little more shocking than a guy in heels, I think.

Comments? I'm not too worried about the length of time or the walking, they are very easy to wear.

Allow me as a stubborn high heels wearer a moderate answer. Patent leather peep toe pumps are in my opinion not the right choice for a first outing of a guy on high heels. That's my opinion and naturally not a truth which is valid for everyone. In my experience classical true leather pumps with a moderate heel height or boots with broader heels will find much more acceptance in real life. Here in the forum we are a bunch of similar minded guys but this forum is definetely not the reality on the street. In your place I would try to switch one gear back 8)

  18. Oops, there must be some confusion with time stamps in the forum. I have written my answer at 22:40 middle european time and not at 20:40. I always thought that greenwich time is one hour less. Is it because of our summer time - do you have no summer time in UK? PS I just found in wikipedia that Island and Portugal belong to the same time zone as England. But Spain (more in the west than England) belongs to the middle european time zone. When visiting Mallorca I never cared for time. Really strange!

  19. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....Fall is just around the corner! We are heading to a nearby town this weekend for an evening of high heel Boot wearing, we can't wait!!

    david & Cathy

No, no and no again - I'm wishing still a little bit of summer feeling. Could be your "indian summer" in Canada or our "Altweibersommer" in Germany. But already fall? Apage satanas! 8)

  20. Ok, so I need to rant for a minute...

I live in Kentucky, in the Ohio valley Region...

Now I know that summers here can be hot, and I am used to them having lived here all my life, but now that I am finally "coming out" so to say in regards to my wearing boots, the worst thing is the fact I am starting to do this in the summer!

WHy you may ask does this suck? Well i do have a desire to wear skirts from time to time which would look great with the boots, however, in this area where highs are still in the mid to high 90's, boots are a complete no-no, even if i wore jeans...

I know just a random rant, but I am hoping it will cool off soon enough and fall will settle in and make for a great start for my heeling in public!

P.S. I also hate the fact that shoe stores are not yet putting boots out for sale, I must expand my collection, lol

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

the german summer 2007 is enervating perfect for wearing boots especially rain and rubber boots:mecry: Until now there were only two days with hot weather and may be ten days with normal summer weather. The whole rest was rain, coldness and rain again. Middle european monsun!?

In july 2003 we had here in Frankfurt for two weeks desert temperatures between 41 and 43 degrees Celsius - that must be something like 105 or even 110 F. Climate conditioning systems are unusual in private german homes, we never needed it. At late noon I was lying down in a chair with a wet towel on my naked tummy and my feet in a water bucket. For such emergency cases (*g*) I'm owning as boots fan some pairs of sandalettes and clogs in my high heels collection.

  21. Hey guys, thanks for the compliments!

As for shoe modification, it was just an ordinary heel swap. Nothing more and nothing less 8).

Do you mean the exchange of heel tips? After having won an ebay auction on a collection of heel tips for 10 euros I'm doing all this work myself without the help of a cobbler. You are learning much about the construction of high heels and you are saving a lot of money. My classical 4'' slip on overknees got their new heel tips within 2 minutes for the cost of less than one euro. Not bad.

Sorry, sometimes I tend to forget the original theme ...
