  1. Dear forum masters, I encountered already two times the same annoying misfortune. I visited a thread for looking what's new. Without locking in. Then I clicked on "post reply" and wrote my answer. After entering "Preview" rsp. "Submit" appeared the login window. Obviously logigal because I had still the status of an unknown guest. Then I entered my name and the password. And what happened? I got a complete empty box for entering a new answer. But my answer was already completely written! Until now I havn't found any trick to submit my posting successfully. Logging in before entering my answer seems to work quite well. I am a registered user. What am I doing wrong? micha PS: Being anxious if this question will be successful submitted (*g*)

  2. Hi thighhighs and all the other guys of this thread,

today - truly it was yesterday, at least in Frankfurt - I dared the first time in my life to walk on really high stiletto heels in public!

OK, it was only a walk to the cigarette slot-machine, but directly in my neighbourhood. My male rsp. unisex style platform boots I wore already often for shopping in my everyday life supermarket, but on 15 cm (6 inch) stiletto heels - that was a new experiece for me!

It was early in the evening, and there were still a lot of people in the street. I earned only some curious glimpses, but no negative reactions. Such exciting excursions have to be repeated (*grin*)!

Here a link to my self-made Christmas present Posted Image. I have ordererd these boots for wearing them with tight hot pants in springs or summer. At the Frankfurt-CSD or the Love Parade in Berlin..., but obviously I'm much too impatient!

That was my honest contribution to the issue "out in the public, finally"

Merry Christmas to you all

    micha

PS: "thighhighs", your boots are gorgeous! I would be proud, to own them.

  4. Sorry for my very late response, but here it is!

HighLuc, I'am almost of the same age as you (1952). By the way - we already had a chat with each other in the german high heels forum, unfortunately I don't remember, what the subject was.

    Going back to the seventies:

Some time I saw in a shop-window those light brown platform boots with 3'' heels and 1'' soles. I fell in love with them immediately. With a beating heart and a blushed face I entered the shop and I really dared to try them on. They fitted well. No question, I had to buy them. And I must confess, *** ** *** *** *******.

But there was still a little problem: To present my new boots to the friends of my flat. To my astonishment I got a lot of acknowledgement. I believe that was in the year 1974. Thus I wore them daily with pleasure. Many years later I threw them into the waste bin. Simply mega out - impossible to wear these boots in public!

Today I regret this decision. Here a link to a web page with similar boots:

Sway, thank you for your hint - that's really, what I was looking for. But the prices... oops!

Here some links to my daily footwear from the women's shelf:

  5. Dear folks, I hope, that the 70's are also accepted as a topic of vintage fashion! Surely you all remember the awful crazy platform boots of Abba, Elton John or Kiss. Typical for this time were these very thick platform soles with chunky heels. But the difference between the sole's height and heel's height was typically only a few centimeters or approximately 1 inch. When this fashion faded away at the transition to the 80's a short period came up, where you could see platformless high heel boots for guys with high chunky heels up to 4'' and more. Especially rock musicians wore those weird boots. I believe, that was absolutely inacceptable for normal guys and that's presumably the reason why this fashion had only a very short survival time  . My question: Does anybody of you still remember this time? Has somebody worn such boots? What about pics? Now I'm searching as a male high heel fan for similar boots in the internet. Result: Nothing. Hence, further robbing the women's shelf :-) Thankful for any hint micha

  6. Hi bob,

I still owe you an answer!

You like wearing skirts? I've sometimes talked with guys about this topic in german forums. It's not my thing, but I'm always glad to meet a man in a skirt outside of scotland (*grin*).

For myself I prefer flared girlie-style waist jeans or tight boot jeans (leather, varnish). Oops, now I have to confess: I'm also a proud owner of a varnish hot pant, that looks suspicious similar like a mini skirt!

My passion is wearing weird high heels. My compromise to society: Not too much women-like but dedicated high heels! For example those black buffalo platform boots with 4 1/2 '' heels (model 24400?) or my laced Fantasy-Shoes-Boots (model "turbo venus", women boots(?) but a male unisex wrestler-style --> "www.pennangalan.com").

That' s my everyday footwear. Naturally I like also shoes with stiletto heels. But here I'm a still a little bit careful. No stuff for my nearest neighbourship! But at home, in a gay discotheque or anonymous public in Frankfurt, that's OK. Believe me, it wasn't easy, to manage those 5'' inch stilettos but meanhile I must not be scared about any rustic pavement (*grin*).

  7. Hi Joak, greetings from Germany to Germany! I've found this forum by accident. You know, I'am keen on internet pages about male high heels. I hope to find here a more pleasant atmosphere than in the german high heel forum. But 200 postings for my beloved stilettos? I thing that I shoud better get used to the loafers .... Best wishes too micha

  8. Thank you for your answer, azraelle, I presume that you have posted already a lot of contributions to the forum(*grin*). 25 postings - oops - thats a real challenge . I will try my best (counter=3)! CU micha

  9. Is there anybody, able to give me an advice to get rid of these "comfy loafers"? Being a novice in this forum but looking ahead I changed my avatar to the nice patent leather boots. Because I am a proud owner of similar 5'' (13 cm) ankle boots. But - apage satanas - again these ugly loafers ... I don't like to see them anymore - thats not my taste. Please help me! micha

  10. Hi folks, I'm a new member in this forum living in Frankfurt/Germany. Here are my outfit preferences: Flared jeans or tight varnish jeans (red and black) combined with fat platform boots (between 4'' and 5'' heel height ). Especially those outrageous boots from "Fantasy Shoes(UK)" or the girlie boots from "Buffalo" (UK/Germany)". Meanwhile that's my daily outfit. But sometimes I also dare to wear stiletto heels public. In my nearest neighbourship are my platform boots nearly obligate (*grin*) Nice greetings micha
