While many prefer the look from behind from a deep position (because all that matters is how many " there are) i like the sideview more, it shows the elegance of a shoe. And to me 4" seem more elegant than 5" most of the time ..... maybe i´m getting old! 😉

Hmm, i´m a member, my wife is not. I guess her pictures will not qualify for this challenge?

A friend of mine participated (from the technical side) in the measuring of folks to determine the sizes for the german fashion industry. That takes place every few years, and a size 36 in clothes now is not the same as a size 36 10 or 20 years ago. But it does not apply to shoes.

Honestly, my wife does not hold a candle to Gina or Pantera.

Gina was a lot of years younger and did it professionally, and she had more possibilities and equipment from the technical point of view.

Especially Pantera was a friend, we had the privilege to know her in person, also did some shootings with her. She was a tall woman with the same shoe size as my wife, so the two swept shoes on occasions. She was the only woman we know who could walk gracefully with heels 7"+ or even run in them (but we know some men who can). But we also have pictures with her walking her hometown barefoot, she liked that too. We miss her!

In real life she is playing the harp (a celtic harp that is), but she wouldn´t let me post pictures with her "serious" instrument. 🤔

Our former cobbler (sadly he doesn´t exist any more) gave us a liquid to soften the leather. It is sprayed inside and then the shoe must be worn for a few hours. Doing that 2 or 3 times will give an increase of up to 1 size. It does not work with shoestretchers because it needs some temperature, but maybe there are heated stretchers which should work. It works with all kinds of leather except patent leather, which will crack when stretched.

That looks really, really nice! They will sure get a great amount of attention! 🤩
