No, we don´t know her personally, we had only the contact via forums and not much, she was mostly only posting pictures. But she stopped posting at least 6 or 7 years ago.

Many italian restaurants are named Lapiazza, but the domain for the shoe shop is for sale, so my guess is they closed down.

No, most of her shots were made by herself. She also was an artist and did fantastic paintings, many of them with high heeled themes.The german forums lost a lot of content when she left, and we lost a friend.

It has been popular (that means streetshots of high heels) in the UK and Germany too, but that was at least 5 years ago. The sites are all gone by now, together with most of the forums with the high heels theme.

A very important point for heelsphotography is how low your camera was when a photo is taken. If the man behind you did not hold the camera/phone low the picture itself may be lame.

That of course is a reality, she is clearly posing for the pictures. However, it only happens when we are shooting high heels. If she is wearing anything with a heel less than 4" (this is an example:

There must be a special interest in high heels, mostly from men. Also the heels must be thin, chunkier heels don´t get that much attention. 😁
