  1. It does not bother me either way. As long as women are supportive, encouraging and complimenting, I would welcome their opinions on this men's posting area. In fact we need more females joining as members of this site. To me it should not be a battle of the sexes, we are a community of heel wearers and we should support each other.

  2. I am a size 8 (mens). My boots in my avatar are roughly a size 9. It is harder to find anything larger than a 10. What I have noticed is that leather boots tend to shrink over time, partially due to getting wet (rain and snow).

  3. My high heel range is from 2.5" to 4". So I voted for 2.5 inches as a minimum high heel. After walking around all day in my cowboy boots (2.5"), I start to feel sore and I think to myself, "These boots ain't flats." On a side note my wife and I went to a honky tonk saloon for concert night. She had her ankle boots, and I wore my cowboy boots. The next day, she told her mother about the concert and overheard her say, "We both had our high heel boots on." Last year I met up with my mother for lunch and finally wore my cowboy boots in front of her, which she immediately noticed. She said, "Oh those boots, such high heels!" So I consider my only pair of black cowboy boots to be high heels.

  4. Yes I have thought of ordering that same pair with a 3 to 3.5 inch heel. Of course they would cost a bit more for a higher heel and for today's pricing. One thing about higher heels on cowboy boots, I have seen pictures on other web sites where the shaft of the boot tends to slant forward. I prefer a straight vertical shaft. Western Ranch Boots can even make boots with 4 to 6 inch heels.

  5. Went out today with my denim riding jeans tucked in my black cowboy boots. They have a tapered leg so I can pull on my boots without having to tuck them in. Since they are so tall, it makes more sense to show them off. Here are a few pics.

  6. I would imagine that they cost substantially more today. Although I wouldn't mind buying another pair someday since these boots are of superior quality. I just had to add, I like those boots in the YouTube video. I also like those tight blue jeans, they go well with the boots. This is my style of wearing them. I have a few pairs of riding denim jeans with a tapered leg opening. This allows me to pull on my boots without thinking about having to tuck them in.

Here are some pics of my riding denim jeans with Western Ranch boots.

  7. If he were alive today, King Louis XIV could promote men's high heels, and make it the norm in modern society. People could buy more heels and stimulate the economy. And if wearing heels were more socially acceptable, more men would go out in public just to be seen in heels, and boosting the economy even further. Though I'm no economist, these are just my thoughts. And I would like to enjoy creme brulee at a cafe wearing heels without feeling out of place.

  8. Yes they are, I do feel a heel sensation walking in them. After being in boots all day (weekends), I can feel my feet getting sore and tired sometimes. It depends on where I go. Going to the movies is a little easier since I am sitting for about 2 hours. It is good to give your feet a massage and a break from being in heels. I am just curious as to what current prices are for boots like these, I am guessing over $400.

  9. My first time in public in women's stiletto high heels was at night in a post office, then to a convenience store, and finally a coffe shop. I thought I was going to be sick all night. But at the end of the evening, it was one of the greatest highs I've ever experienced.

My first time was similar, only just at night in a post office. Then just going back home to think about what fun it was to go out at night.

  10. Name: Pat Age: 37 Gender: Male Location: Chicago area, Illinois, USA Occupation: IT, network support and PC repair Height: 5'6" Weight: 142 Shoe size: 8.5-9 mens, 10-11 ladies What's your favourite heel style: stiletto (spike thick, not pencil thin) What's your favourite shoe style: boots, knee high and cowboy Do you wear your heels outside: yes What is: (a) Your favourite heel height: 4" (:winkiss: Your highest heel height: 4" How often do you wear: (a) Your favourite heel height: 2-3 times a week (:nervous: Your highest heel height: 2-3 times a week Do you wear socks, hose, stockings or bare feet with your shoes: thin dress socks Anything else you wish to add: I wish they would make more 80's style knee high boots with a straight leg shaft, not curvy at ankle, with heels that are about 1" thick, as opposed to pencil thin stilettos. I wish they would also make thigh high boots in that style.

  11. Thighbootguy, sounds like your best outing in boots to date. A simple black leather jacket does balance out the boots and gives a nice overall look. My style is similar to yours and JeffB, with my current pair of boots. Congratulations on a great day!

  12. This movie has a great 'zoom up' shot on the boots (black knee high stiletto about 4" or 5") and nice pantyhosed legs topped of by a mini skirt worn by Drea de Matteo. Nice clip! The boots make their apperance in more scenes

Yes, Drea was smoking hot in her boots. Great movie. I just had to add that when was filming this, she had a fever of 103 degrees and a scratched cornea. So I would imagine that she was very uncomfortable. I think it's hard to feel sexy or attractive in boots when a person is not feeling well.

  13. I prefer knee high boots, for practical reasons, they don't grab as much attention as thigh high boots. Although I do look on my thigh high boot wearing years with fondness (2002-2006). When I put on my Ellie #8868 black thigh highs, 4" heels, I felt special in them. You haven't lived until you put on a pair of thigh high boots. Having ventured in thigh highs out in public, this made it easier to go out in my current pair of brown knee high boots.
