  1. Today I bought a pair at Macy's. I went to a Macy's store but they didn't have my size (7 1/2)...

You are wearing US 7½ women size ?

I must say you that are a lucky guy !

Do you control your spending on HH shoes and boots ?

I wear size US women 11 and I spend way too much.

Could not imagine what it would be If I wore 7½ !

  2. Thanks for all the wonderful tips - it really helps and I will keep you all up to date. I hope to get the courage to try my first public outing in next couple weeks.

Lots of good advice here. I'm sure your first outing wearing heels will be OK.

Do it with confidence. You will then realize it was no big deal after all.

hi im currently wearing 5 in spike heels out and most if the time no one notices or cares

    terri

Greetings terri17 and welcome to this forum :-)

I'm sure you realize that a woman wearing heels is "normal" in our society.

This is why no one notice or cares (But let me tell you that a lot of men do notice...)

Unfortunately, we cannot say the same when a man do the same isnt-it ?

Why men are not "allowed" to wear heels and enjoy them if they want to ?

If the shoe is "conservative" and worn with appropriate clothing. Why not ?

( And I'm not referring to mini-skirt and pink stiletto here... )

Please feel free to share your passion for high heels and fashion with us.

    Welcome again !

  3. Yes ladies jeans fit better and I have several pairs, my mother in law has bought me 2 pairs for christmas which will go nicely with the brown knee high 4'' chunky heeled boots MrsF has bought me.

Can't wait for Xmas to wear them.

I admit you have a very nice (and supportive) mother in law !

A woman (which is not your wife) offering woman's jeans to a men is quite rare.

Did you decide what you will offer her as a Christmas gift ?

(No need to know what it is. Just yes or no...)

PS: Lucky you. You know what will be your Christmas present before Chrismas day !

Oh definatly womens jeans! I only wear womens jeans,

they fit better, look better and a lot more comfortable.

I could not agree more. And they are less expensive than men's jeans !
  4. Let me preface this by saying I've never been all that

much a fan of wedges...Let me know what you think!

Very nice shoes indeed ! They are comfortable and quiet isnt-it ?

Glad to see you are now a wedge heel addict !

I agree they will look good with a skirt but temperature is getting quite cold.

What about wearing a nice pair of wedge heel tall boots with your skirt ?

(Please do not look at my lastest purchase here)

  5. I'm sure there's a way to enlarge downloaded photos but I'm not yet at that level.

    HappyinHeels:wave:

Looks like you saved the boots thumbnail picture in your hard drive

instead of saving the large picture located on left side of webpage.

You can also provide a link like this > Click here.

I did the above link by selecting the word "here" with my mouse

then clicking on the "insert link" button and pasting the webpage address in the URL field.

See below larger picture of your boots.

    Again, very nice boots !

  6. She thinks that wearing heels is a torture...

Looks like she is wearing heels which are too high and/or too narrow for her.

Quality is also a factor. It is unfortunate that she think that wearing heels = pain.

When the heel is the proper height and well made, wearing

them is very comfortable and painless (and also a lot of fun !)

    Too bad winter is coming...

    > Winter is the perfect time to wear high heel boots !
  7. ... I popped into my favorite store and picked up these boots today. Not your basic stealth boot at all I bought them for no other reason than they are flat out sexy boots and decided to get the taupe instead of black....

Very nice boots indeed. I like the style and color.

I agree with you about the fact they are not your

"basic stealth boot" but I'm sure you will enjoy wearing them.

FYI we cannot click on the attached picture to see it larger...

    Happy heeling !

  8. I bought my second pair of heels today, from Off Broadway,

Nine West "Footproof" point toe ankle strap...

    Greetings rartist :-)

Very nice shoes. I hope they are not too narrow at the toe box.

Please tell us how they fit

Fortunately, you don't need to pay extra for that humiliation...

    Greetings jwhite :-)

I am surprised to read your comment about "humiliation".

The first time I bought heels in a store, the cashier asked me if they were for a gift.

I said no they are for me. (Customers behind me heard my reply)

I did not feel humiliated in anyway but I was very nervous.

Did you feel humiliated the first time you bought heels in a store ?

If so, can you tell me in what way or why ?

  9. Good article !

I really like the comment from that girl who said

"Come on, girls we need a laugh! I'm dying to see a man trying to walk in high heels!"

Why some women assume that men can't walk in high heels ?

I see many women who don't know how to properly walk in heels.

Looks like this girl is not a member of HH-Place ...

  10. My latest purchase from Aldo. I could not resist (again) when I saw them

They were not stock in my size so I placed an order.

The store should receive them in a few days. Can't wait to put them on !

    Good news !

I got my boots. Wearing them now.

They are amazing to wear !

    I'm in love...

  11. Don't hesitate to spend a little more for better quality shoes. Go to the store and feel how strong the heel is attached to the sole before buying. Most "low cost" stiletto heels will tend to wabble after wearing them for a while. For the look, you know what type of heels your girlfriend prefers. I cannot help you here ! For comfort, you said she can handle 3in heels. I understand you would prefer higher heels. But why buying higher heels she would not be comfortable walking with all day at work ? BTW you may want to edit your profile... You made a typo in your location. It says "Unitrd States"...

  12. Greetings pebblesf and welcome to this forum :-)

All members here have one point in common: Their passion for high heels !

...wearing high heels as a guy with confidence that people

will admire and perhaps even be a little bit jealous of.

Confidence is the key. I could not agree more.

Sometime I notice a guy looking at me when I'm wearing (conservative) heels in public.

Looking into his eyes I can see "What a lucky guy he is. I wish I could do the same."

  13. Greetings JeffB :-)

It is always nice to get positive comments from women.

They have a keen eye and their compliments about fashion are always sincere.

It is refreshing to see they like what you wear, whatever it is.

This is another reason why clothing should not be based on gender.

If it looks good and feels good to wear, why not wear it ?

Another nice jaunt. Well done !

BTW, my English is not perfect...

Can you please explain what is the expression "titters and snickers" ?

  14. The 2nd picture did not come through? but is was a picture of the boots I got last month.

    Greetings WhyNotMenToo :-)

Maybe you already attached the picture of your last month's boots to a previous post ?

Note that you cannot attach the same picture twice. The server won't let you.

If so you may want to provide a link to the other post so we can see the picture.

  15. I think it is a rush of something different and something that society don't approve as "normal", but what is normal in our lives?

Also, I have a desire to cross dress and before I was just wearing pantyhose under jeans, but now I want more.

This is why I'm on HH and fetlife.

You mentionned "I think it is a rush of something different".

Maybe you want more because you don't feel the same initial "big rush" anymore ?

    PS:

You may want to post in one of the two thread in my last post

( this thread or this thread ) to get replies from other members since

we are getting a little bit "off topic" from the Hello Goodbyes & Introductions...
