  1. Nice boots everyone !

Unfortunalely, I had to return my last purchase (post # 1462 above)

They were too small even if marked size 41. They were so nice !

BTW I see many new replies here and I did not receive any e-mail notification.

(I check my profile and my e-mail address and notification settings are OK.

Looks like the server lost the list of all my subcribed threads

So I'm doing this reply to re-subscribe to this thread...

I guess I will have to do the same with all the other threads I was subscribed to...

( I don't want to hijaak this thread any longer. Please send me a PM if you want to comment )

UPDATE: I found why I did not receive e-mail notification for reply to subscribed threads.

The check box on "Auto follow topics I reply to" was uncheck.

I put a check on it and set the frequency to "immediate"

  2. Well done JeffB. Another nice looking outfit. I like the color combination ! But what a surprise to see you are not wearing heels ? Lucky for you the temperature was warm enough to wear a skirt. I woke up this morning and looked outside to see a trace of snow my neighbor's car...

  3. Well done wishicould ! I noticed this is your first post here, so welcome to HH-Place ! You are right. It will be easier next time and after a while, no big deal anymore. It is quite unfortunate you wife was not pleased about the fact you are wearing heels. Maybe it is because you hide it from her for some time ? Hoping she will realize you are still the same person even if you like to wear heels. Heels are only shoes after all. And wearing them is not against any law... As I said in another thread, life is too short. Do what you like to do while you still can and enjoy. Happy heeling !

  4. I went up in size for them and put pads in the toe area. That helped quite a bit with them.

    rx

I wear US size 11 which is the largest size available in store here.

And I don't buy using the internet. Thanks for the suggestion !

Hi I've got a pair of them in black, US12, they run a bit too big for me. Are you interested?

    Regards.

I would be interested if you would be closer to where I live.

But unfortunately, you are too far away...

Thank you for the offer

  5. Congrats TXGuy. What a great post ! (Reading it was like I was there in the store) The first time trying hh shoes in a store is never easy but it will get easier with time. FYI about Aldo, their closed shoes are very narrow but most of their boots are OK. I'm a regular customer to Aldo and I also wear women's size 11. Well done !

  6. I think the " killer shoes" expression comes from the fact someone would do anything to own those very nice shoes. Even killing the person wearing them to get the shoes. ( Doing so is not a very good idea and it would be illegal. Hoping nobody do this in real life... ) So I guess "Killer shoes" is the opposite of "They are to die for"

  7. Amanda is right. Most women prefer guys in mens shoes.

My reply would have been the following:

"A guy who purchased high heels and is wearing them is wearing men's shoes with high heels"

So the statement "Most women prefer guys in mens shoes" is true indeed

  8. My collection is growing, here are the latest additions...

I like the black brash platform pumps from Payless.

This is a style of shoes I would like to have but unfortunately,

all of them I tried until now are too narrow in the toe box

    Lucky you !

  9. ...I have recently bought some new boots but not yet been out in them...

Very nice boots. It is a style I like. It's great for you to have a supportive wife !

I own a similar pair and they are very comfortable to wear all day long.

(Follow this link if you want to see them)

I guess your wife will wear heels higher than yours ?

Please keep us updated about your outing wearing your new boots !

  10. ...Big feet are not really feminine

    Greetings debbie :-)

This is a really good point and I totally agree with you. (I envy those with smaller feet)

More true when the shoes is with open toes. (This is why I prefer boots)

And the higher the heel, the smaller the feet appears to be.

But not too high so the shoe or boot is comfortable (and fun) to wear

    Have a nice day !

    PS:

You had no "Thank you" yet so I gave you one for you excellent comment.

Not sure but I think there is no "Thank you" button in the girl's section...

  11. Thanks Daniel :mecry: The heel is very thin and I was a bit nervous taking the first few steps but it's very strong - wobbles a little but not as much as I feel unsafe!

Again, very nice ! I must say you have great taste in shoes. Wear them with pride !

    New shoes for me:

Very nice shoes. Perfect match with the blue jeans.

I'm sure you will get a few head turns if you wear them outside.

Note that I had to rotate my monitor to look at the picture. ( LOL )

For those who don't want to do so, see rotated picture below

  12. I got way more women's boots and shoes than men's. Ratio would be 20:1 I do wear my men's shoes or boots when I have no other choice. I often go to construction sites and I must wear steel toe boots :mecry: These boots are so heavy. Glad to change into lighter heels when I get home
