A disturbing one.
subjectivity and situational ethics rules.
(Not that I object to situational ethics!)

I agree totally. I wonder how, when and if reality ever returns, and indeed what will constitute "reality" in the future. I keep seeing references to a post-truth world.
As a journalist of many years experience I now find myself in a position of doubting or just plain disbelieving almost anything I read of the election coverage and transition.

We live in interesting times.
I can't say the media has much to be proud of in all of this, no matter which side of the fence one stands on.

He ran for office, didn't he?
I dare say Melania will do her part for glam fashion

I get them mixed up. Donald's the one with the comb-over, right? :-)

Yes I think it's time they sorted themselves out.
Industrial military complex is not what we need on our planet.
Eisenhower said exactly the same thing sixty years ago, urging people not to let those guys get too powerful. And Eisenhower was a man who knew a thing or two about the military!

I noticed these the other day while shopping online.
I have to say I do like the idea of less world war with trump and the helm.
I also never liked the idea of TTIP.
No doubt the new First Lady will do much do much for heels!

I never liked TTP either.
I agree with you that more isolationism on the part of America might not be a bad thing.

There are people on this forum whose calf muscles and ankles have been so highly adapted to wearing heels that they find it physically challenging - even painful - to walk far or even stand for very long in flat shoes.

Probably time to end this well staged play with/on words and let Swedeheeler's western look hold the stage once again.
As he surely can do in those boots...

Teetering on heels is an early stage of ones heeling development. However @swedeheelernew boots will upstage any competition.

I've always been extremely fit - mainly through many thousands of miles of cycling (touring, not racing) but an injury a couple of years ago when I came off my bike on black ice, coupled with a crazy work-travel schedule this past year, meant I have fallen from grace in a big way, and out in over twenty pounds. I am older than you (I feel pretty sure I am anyway) and once you lose it, it is hard to come back.
Hence my solo cycling challenge to myself and a pressing need to find ways of regaining my fitness!
