  1. I voted underneath, which is well only for me wearing them, because I am sort of hiding the fact I am wearing heels. For boots on a woman though, I would probably say over the top, or better yet no jeans and instead a skirt/dress with the boots.

  2. I voted no, but... If they made you feel good, they didn't freak out the wife (sounds like she is not very supportive of your wish to do this, which is a shame), I say good for you, keep pushing the envelope a little at a time. Some people here probably wouldn't consider my street heels (in my current avatar, and I have several street pairs similar to them), to be street heeling either, but they work for me, and I feel comfortable in them.

  3. I have only started street heeling this past year and I still do it pretty carefully and they are less obvious heels (4.5" heel dark wedge boots covered by jeans). Mostly I have been wearing them only to go out at night with the wife. Just last week though, I did my biggest outing yet, went to an outdoor concert with about 5000+ people, it was still daylight for most of the concert, and I had to make frequent trips for beer (and therefore the restroom) and had to pass in front of a large open seating section each time where it felt a thousand eyes were on me. That was the scariest thing I have done to date (even more so than coming out to the wife many years ago). For the concert the wife was so supportive and kept encouraging me to be brave, she was wonderful. I am so happy I did this though, hoping there was no cameras aimed at me, but I think I survived.

  4. I have been married for 10 years, and coming out to my wife after about the first year of marriage was one of the hardest things I ever did. Hiding my stuff and sneaking around was kinda exciting initially, but the excitement and fear of the backlash of being caught was too much to bear. I waited for a time we were get along great, and we were rather intoxicated. I started suggesting some crazy things, she has always kinda been playful about sexual exploration, one thing led to another, I wanted to try on her shoes (making it seem as though I had never done this before), my feet are only about 1 size bigger than hers, anyway, she liked how I looked. We had fun that night kind of role playing. Anyway, she now knows that I have done this for years, but that is how I did it, waiting for the right moment, when we were both in a very playful (and drunk) mood. Later on, it took me 7-8 more years to start doing some street heeling, and that I do very cautiously, in very strict circumstances, where I know I wont see anyone I know, and in boots that are easy to cover up as being heels, but who knows, in another 5+ years what I will be doing by then

  5. Hi, since I am new here and just introduced myself this morning, I don't know how previous discussions have been on this. Anyway, your choices are very similar to how I street heel. I have several similar ones, but my favorites are some black chunky wedge knee boots (4.5" rubber heel, 1" in front) that when covered with boot cut jeans is rather unnoticable as anything than fancier looking mens shoes. I only do this sort of thing in the evening going out with the wife, never at work or with friends. Otherwise, at home, well I of course wear the more exciting stuff.

  6. I have not read this entire thread (its pretty long), and I am new here, but in what I have read, and from seeing pictures and comments from other men in this forum, there are a wide range of reasons for some men to want to wear them. Some of the men seem to like the more extreme stuff and quite a few even want to be out in them. For me, I am a bit more subtle, wearing the higher stuff at home, I do get some excitement and satisfaction that I can make my legs look feminine and sexy, and my wife even gets a kick out of it, thankfully. I love womens legs and the look they have in heels, and think why cant I have that. Why is it wrong for me to want to have that same look and feeling? I have only very recently started going public with heels, but I am very subtle about it, carefully picking shoes/boots that look almost like mens shoes (chunky wedges) and covered with long boot cut jeans. Even though these dont look as sexy as say strappy stiletto's (some men in this forum are out in these), and I am not broadcasting what I am wearing, I guess I still get some comfort from the feeling of being in heels (they just look and feel great to me) and maybe some excitement and adreneline from the risk of being caught. I don't know if that answered anything or repeated anything that was said, but it was my thoughts after a brief scan of this thread. I do agree with what I did read someone say about men's shoes just being very limited and boring. AMEN to that!

  7. Hello and welcome Austin. I am also new here on this site. I agree with you, and I think it is quite unfair that men are limited to such a narrow range of what is considered acceptable to wear. Mens shoes are so utilitarian and boring. Women have such a vast spectrum of choices in clothing and shoes from very masculine, to the extreme feminine, and everywhere in between. Anyway, I think their shoes are incredibly comfortable, if you pick the right kind of shoes. In fact, I have a pair of 4.5" wedge boots (very stealthy high heels under boot cut jeans) that I have walked several miles in with no discomfort at all and almost think they are more comfortable than most of my standard mens shoes.

  8. Hi all, I have visited this site several times and found many people on this site in my situation and decided I should finally say hello as a new user. Some background: I'm a married middle age man with kids and live a normal productive life. I've had a thing for high heels and nylons since I was a pre-teen. Not sure how it developed, but its there and is not going away. I do not consider myself a transvestite, I just have a strong fetish for certain things that are considered womens items. I have always done it very privately, but about a year into my marriage, I decided I had to share it with my wife, as it was not as much fun doing this alone anymore and being sneaky about it. At first it was very scary and I did it very gradually, with suggestions when we were drinking, etc, but eventually told her everything and found her very supportive and even wanting me to share my activites with her rather than do it alone. Since being open with the wife, I have added corsets to the collection as well, but I do not fully dress up and never had interest in wearing a full outfit or make up, etc. Anyway, back to heels - I really love leather high heel boots, and prefer a minimal platform to no platform at all. My older "only to be worn at home" collection consists of mainly 5" or higher boots (incl. 1 pair of ballet boots). With my more recent collection, I have wanted to be a bit more adventurous and try to do this outdoors. So I have accumulated several 3"-4.5" chunky wedge boots, that can sort of pass as mens shoes when hidden under long boot cut jeans. I still get the feel of high heels without drawing much, if any attention to myself. I do this only when going out in the evening with the wife, never worn to work, but I find it is very exciting to be able to do this in public, and have gotten quite comfortable while doing it. Anyway, this turned into a much too long an introduction, probably should have done this in smaller pieces, but there it is... Hello to everyone again. Hoping to enjoy my time spent here.
