Thanks for the reply. I believe that very much! I do think that FF'S belong on the beach and that's pretty much it. I think it's too bad that they are being accepted everywhere. oh well winter's coming at least there will be Boots to look at.

I have a friend who lives in Paris who came to visit me. We went out for the day.. she could not believe the number of people men and women wearing "beach shoes"! I told her that she should not say that too loud as i could not vouch for her safety. We also went to a wedding MORE OF THEM THERE TOO!!" she asked me if "americans work"? I asked her what did she mean.. she went on to tell me that she has never seen so many beach shoes- but not at the beach! she has seen them at work sites,weddings, parties, "I would never wear such silly shoes in france". I just think they are ugly and serve no purpose except at the beach.. and that might be a stretch too..

Fad Huh?? I don't know where you are, But here in NY Manhattan and rural areas they are going strong!! for more than 2 seasons!! They are being worn by all kinds of women too! It's times like these that make me wish for the winter again.. at least then i saw heeled boots! sure there are lots of cute feet to look at and some not so cute.. but i would like to see some shoes fit for a woman!

Ben, after reviewing the article a few times i guess it was not as bad as i thought. There have been other ones that have been downright evil.. I go back and fourth from the"what not to wear" message boards where everyone on there hates heels.I think that most women there are just too conservative... Perhaps i just lumped in this article in with the lot...

First of all thanks for the replies.. yes, i'm thinking it was stupid too... we all know what your supposta do when wearing heels like that(actually i love them) but i think it was just making fun of wearing them- which i dont like.. if you ask me all this will do is turn off some women who are already on the fence about wearing heels.. you do have to use some smarts.... clearly the news chick has none

I agree.. That might be a little rough for everyday walking, but here on holiday in Japan, the women will go as high 5'' i 've seen it with 4.5 being the norm.. I love this town.. Too bad for some reason the women here are very "pidgeoon toed" Most of them thats the case , so it's normal.. I love the views!

i'm told that she already has some bad feet.. but she's beautiful and i'm not married to her.. when that happens, i'm sure ol' becks will find a suitable replacement... I would start taking care of them now before they get real bad.... like the Japanese women i'm seeing now.... they are all wearing some very nice heels here.. ofcourse they have a lot less to carry around.. than some......

Yeah, ain't it great? I was walking around shinjuku all day today and not only was i treated to almost every other women wearning heels(3-5)i think i got there for the"i can wear less than you because i can competition" Not just young women either. all ages!!! Yeah, I wanna go back to america... back to what? those ugly ass flip flops that american women/guys this are so great? well if i play my cards right i'll get back just in time for the winter boot season... at least that wont dissapoint. Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone here has been or is in the tokyo area. I have never seen so many women wearing heels in my life.I have seen women from all ages wearing them. I was at a picnic the other day- yes you get it dirt, grass beach -rough terrain.. and i would have to say that most of the women i saw had heels on- varied heights all the way up to 5"(only one sighting)yes but certainly more than in the states.and running? Japanese women are always running somewhere whether it's for the train or what.... I have also noticed that alot of japanese women are pidgeon toed... which looks funny in heels..but i wont complain...I knew there was a reason i like this country..has anyone else had the good fourtune of seeing what i'm seeing? I have been watching this woman for a while now and have come to this conclusion.. this women is in heels 24/7!!! As many photos i have seen of her she is NEVER in anything that even looks flat! even ON the field, there she is poking through the soft grass!! what a woman!!! Although i hear(but have not seen) that she has feet that are not as pretty as her!! and not in such good shape.... Now really.. some "celebs" wear flats some time but not her!!! David, is a very lucky guy.1 hot wife.2 hot wife in heels 24/7 I hope he knows how lucky she is.... p.s. she's not too skinny either!

No Foolin? I guess i am not suprised... I have heard of Long nails and fists, and now i guess HH'S...Something in me(probally the way i was brough up) will not let me sit by and watch a woman get beat up. 2 women? i'll just watch. 2 guys? Ditto. and then render medical aid if i can- but a man and a woman? unless the man is Woody allen and the women is Grace Jones in THAT CASE i'll ask if i can be next!
