Gang, I love a good blade heel but 5"? where could i find such a heel either on a shoe OR boot? It might be late in the season but if i could find a pair of boots i'd buy them straightaway! shoes in a blade heel are common though.. thanks gig

Gang, Thanks to all to replied....I will take ALL of the advice you sent me and put it to work at once! I'm not sure just what the problem is.. I DO love a woman in heels but i just have to face it it has not been easy going...What do you do when she constantly picks out the most ugliest,mid range heel height that she can find? I have been asked "are these cute" and of course i always say"their ok" "but i like THESE better" now of course i did not pick out a 5" to start with(besides if not in a fetish shop 5" might be hard to find -even in NY) It's getting warm out things will change.. wish me luck Gig

I am curious if anyone else has the problem(oh yes it's a problem) what.. do i have to date a stripper to get a woman who won't whine about heels? I've heard them all... Yes ,the clunky thing came and went some still wear them but i guess they still like them. the part about the women wearing a boot that made the foot look longer is true here too.. but i kinda like the look.. I also like the blade heel look too.. but THAT heel type was never high normally around3" (ona good day) oh well lets see what this SUMMER brings!! thanks.

Hello it's me again.. Just quick note..I was asked not too long ago what the difference was between the two... I drew a blank.. I was once told that a spike heel was just that a spike , but a stilletto was supposed to be a more drastic higher heel than the spike.. since we have such an distingushed panel of experts here I thought that this would be the place to ask such a question. thanks again.. Hi all I would like to know what you think of what's in - I mean do you like the direct opposite of what's in style? does everybody HATE whats's in or do you like it a little bit...? I'm just a bit curious..I personally Love whats in stylehere and in europe(looking at the european shoestores) here in NY It looks like since the cooler weather is upon us here again the boots with the "spike heel/stilletts with the pointy toe" is back if you ask me it make the foot look longer...... ..My friend who lives in japan says that the very high boot again with the 3"to 4" blade heel... is still kicking around.. seems like it was that way last winter too.. steve madden and bakers here in NY always have great shoes boots.... but i think that the "wild pair" always has the trendiest boots... what do you think?

Hi all... I thought up untill last season (perhaps the season before) they were in style here in NY that you saw! even more mature women(some not all) were shedding the signature stilettos/spikes and donning the platforms..but i think that the platform look is fading with the onset of summer... so now of course you have sandals with a kind of "kitten heel" and some who still wear the stiletto/spike heel but most of the time you won't see a heel higher than 3.5-4" well perhaps in a fetish club... any comments? gig

Hi all I have never been to any other part of the world.. but i can tell you that here in NYC platforms are still being worn,.. actually for about 2 summers or more.. Not as much this summer as the last 2.. But i still see them mostly in the wintertime..women here like to be in style and i guess that is whats they are wearing. Even when i go clubbing thats what i see...I have not seen a classic pump with even a 3 or 4"stilletto heel in a long time..just my 2 cents..but me? I love both!!
