They do look great... My GF loves CL'S some more than others.... i think i am going to try to get her to look ESL'S.. i saw some that That Kardashinan chick looks great in them..

I see a(for a change) a decent amout of these clicking all over manhattan.. most at the clubs and a few getting out of cabs.. they do remind me of the "fetishy" type which kinda throws them off.. I was looking for the brand and the model. Thanks Now i have somthing to go on. P I B, I have also heard of folks not liking them at all... the handful comments- mostly coming from my friends who either said that they could not walk in them or that they were just too exbensive.. with that platform i am thinking that almost anyone would walk in them... cobblestone streets? might be another story... I was thinking that too.... I think my GF would love these... i'll beet less expensive that the CL'S i have been buying her... although bordering on the "fetish" look i hope she does decide that she will wear them... believe it or not some of the CL's she had issues with.. not walking , but looks! I am sort of in the same boat... My GF loves CL's. I love to see her in them. She has 2 pairs that i bought her. she also knows that i have a thing for watches.. so between us it's a trade off. we both win.. broke, (skint) but we both win. She knows what it does to me to see her in ANY kind of sexy heels... she uses that with me-not against me. We have a fun time together with it, but she draws the Line when i mention posting pictures or anything like that.I guess i have to respect that- i dont want to but i have to. We also love each other very much, if that counts for everything.

Mr Friske, Thanks for the favor of a reply. I did read the link you sent me. It does make sense, I also had another friend of mine tell me that in addition to my first post the red sole might also have something to do with blood in the streets from nearby butchering of meat - the meat packing district where the women used to walk hence red soles. I am sure that there are many explanations.. I should have mention this in the first post. Thanks again for the reply.

Hello all, I heard that the reason CL trade marked his "red soles" because he wanted to pay Tribute to the Street walkers of a "meat district" some where in Europe(france?) I was curious to see if there was any truth to this. I know that having the world at our fingertips, I might have been able to find this info elseware..But i thought that might give the experts here a go.. Thanks.

I have heard about the street toughs and and all what goes on.. I have never been a victim of anything of the sort. So what do you do if you have a situation? and the police are not around? they cannot be everywhere all the time.. I have been in some shady areas- just because i got lost and in a strange place getting lost can be fun and dangerous.. Maybe i'll get a loud Whistle.. i'll bet that will scare em..

All, Not earth shattering news , but last evening while walking around I stumbled upon a CL store down town Manahattan... I had no idea that it was even there.. they list 3 locations ,but i thought i was in the wrong part of town... and what a surprise!... First time i stared through the window like a rabid dog.... worse than when i walk by a watch store that sells Tag heuer watches.. My GF needs another pair... rather i need to see her in another pair.. think i will be going back there again... can i pick anyone up a pair?
