Had a look on the New Look website - the patent leather on the black ones look really rubbish quality and crinkled on the side too. Shame really as they're quite a nice style.
Thanks for letting us all know about the site though.
Hi Guys,
Thought I'd share these with you all.
Found these whilst looking for some really crazy shoes to wear with an Electro Burlesque outfit for 3 friend's fancy dress birthday party.
They are copies of YSL Tribute Too shoes. Super high (6 inch), £25 and go up to a size 8. They do them in loads of colours in the New Look shops but their website just has white, navy and black. I bought them in Patent Hot Pink.
I'm sure Roz already has 36 pairs.
Cheers,
Ben
ps. Added photo of the real YSLs.

There is something about pants over the heels, it can be very alluring! Someone at my place of work happened to be wearing black patent platform heels which were hidden under her pants recently and throughout the day I would keep catching glimpses of her heels as she walked past. I never got to see her heels in full glory but they looked ever so classy half hidden under her long black pants.

But i think it's great:

Kind of reminds me of the guy from the recent Stella Artois advert.
Your heels are a better colour than those in the advert though.
If you don't mind me saying your photo would be even better if you didn't wear any stockings with your heels. Alternatively, try wearing a lighter colour stocking instead.

Is the guy behind Beyonce there to catch her in the event that one of those rather thin stiletto heels happens to snap?

When I saw those platform boots I couldn't think of anything else other than repulsion. They are neither classy or sexy and would be much more suited to a villain on a Batman movie. Of course this is only my opinion, but I just needed to get it off my chest. Ah I feel better now

nice choice.

Now, that is said.....I enjoy both of your postings very much. I find both of you extremely articulate, open minded and very intelligent. It appears once a female "gets beyond" the idea of men wearing women's shoes, it's all "up hill" from there. Thank you both very much for the invaluable contributions you've made to hhplace.
And I, for one, hope neither of you choose to "disappear" anytime soon.
Very well put Bubba136.
I actually think that all three of you are highly valued contributors here at hhplace.
Amanda, perhaps for some women it is curiosity that brings them here. How did you come about the place?

There is no doubt that the more bizarre stuff here at hhplace drives some of our female members away which is a real shame. The way I use this forum is similar to how I watch television. I turn it on and I browse the channels. If something interests me I watch it, if it doesn't interest me then I simply turn over and browse another channel. Some of the stuff here doesn't appeal to me but I simply ignore it and read any relevant content. There are many really good postings here at hhplace which are positive and offer great advice to both male and female members. Much of the content is in good taste and makes great reading. Yes, it is a shame too that guys have to post in the section just for women which only serves to irk our female members. Why is it that some people never learn
I would like to make a plea to those female members who have recently left or who are thinking of leaving hhplace to re-consider their decision.
Please stay
Thanks
