I have done something similar once and it was not appreciated :)An attractive mid 30 woman was trying on a pair of reddish brown Bronx 4 1/2" blade heeled boots and I had to tell her that they looked fantastic (they did). The reaction was that it was NOMFB and what was I doing in a women's shoe store anyhow?

You could have told her that you're just an arrogant ass hole (clearly she is) and either:

a. I work here

b. I own the store

c. The manager is my s/o etc. etc. etc.

So, what is your problem, miss?????? LOL

It has gotten so bad that I believe that if I wore one pair of heels per day, it would take me two months to wear them all!!! These are sandals, pumps, and all kinds of (mostly) boots.

I realize it is time to start to cull and eBay the excess!!!

I've worn 'blade' heels too, next step if there is one, is possibly going to be trying stilletto's out. But why? I think it's wondering what public "rejection" might actually feel like.

The response is pure fantasy of course, as I really don't know why I seem to be drawn, like a moth to something bright. And I just can't see me doing the 24/7 bit, as much as I'd love to.

Freddy, a fascinating series of thoughts! I've worn out blades, square and stiletto heels and would LOVE to wear them 24/7; however the wife and public business preclude that. But the simile of a moth to a flame...... equisite reasoning!!! Something like the forbidden fruit, eh?

That's the problem then. In London and where I live in Brighton (60 miles south of London on the coast) there are thousands of women wearing ridiculously high heels everywhere you care to look.

I must agree; when I was in London in September a few years ago, the number of women wearing BOOTS was astounding - It crossed my mind to move there just for the fun of it all!!!!

In fact, it is Kneehighs that has turned me into a Nine West addict!

HappyFeat, that certainly sounded a chord! I now have three pairs of Nine West leather boots, one pair of stretch boots and a pair of sandals! They are addicting!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as size goes, I can wear either a US 12 or US 11 depending upon the cut, hose, etc.

By the by, I think they look a lot better under pants than over.

Today I was driving the car wearing navy blue chinos and the red patent mid calf boots (under the pants) with 4 1/4 inch stacked heels. On the way to where I was going, I stopped at a rest area.

At least five different people saw the heels but no reaction that I know of (nor did I look to find out). I would not have worn them over pants unless they were skinny jeans or such.

If I'm going to wear thigh boots, then by God, I want the world to see them!

Yes indeed! I think that putting them under any kind of pants is self defeating.

I walk pretty much the same in 3" heels as I usually do. With 4+ my stride slows down and I take smaller steps due to the angle of the shoe although I can actually run in 4".

As far as sexy, to me, the slower more deliberate walk is the sexy one.

I need to throw my two cents in here. Whether you do it he way hhboots did, or let her find the shoes (kind of dangerous - she might really think there's another woman/man involved) or it sneaks out somehow as desire, I can only very strongly suggest that the hiding/lying/duplicity won't work in the long run and can only damage the relationship (any relationship).

My wife is not really happy about the heeling thing and would be quite happy if it went away (of course it is not going to). That said, sometimes we talk about it and I stand my ground as she knew about my thing for heels/boots right from the beginning (among other things). I would really not want to be in the "stash the trash" place at all.

... dressing your legs in such a way that mimicked the female form. You would be creating before your own eyes and within your control, an image that appeared beautiful, elegant and attractive almost like you had transformed yourself partly into your idealized female form.
