I tried it with one of my 4" pointy pumps.
BUT keep in mind I own an automatic... I wouldn't even dare try it on a manual car cause you would some serious troubles fully pushing the clutch in all the way.
Not so, not so - I recently sold one of my two manual cars (the 5 speed). I still have the 6 speed and have had no problems with either car in heels up to 5". Between the two was over 200,000 miles (not in heels of course but thousands for sure).

HappyFeat, I agree with the salesgirl - the dress is great with the heels!

Don't worry, you are like us with no hips and a straight waist. Did you also take a look at the junior department ?
Exactly! Junior wear is cut slimmer; I normally wear "men's" 32 inch waist pants but can almost always wear size 6 or 7 juniors. Try it!

Misterd, the boots and jeans are a good choice. I would strongly recommend starting in an area where you are not known, this way you do not have to worry about people that you know. Good luck!

I think that shoes/boots that coordinated with the suit colors would look much better. Women wouldn't wear those combinations either.

Just as an add on, both of my cars were stick shift and now one is stick and one is automatic; no problem either way with 4 inch heels although I have driven with 5+ in both.
-
I just finished the 480 mile return trip on a thousand or so mile total trip in my car with 4 1/4 inch stiletto boots on. No problems at all, no missed pedals, etc. Like walking in heels, it is just something to get used to.

"If you weren't taking the piss, I might have spent some money in your empty shop." The credit crunch has its uses.Xa
Yes is does and the best way to do it is to vote with your feet (no pun intended) and walk out! Good for you!!

Always mine. I change it from time to time as suits the mood.

Here are my two favorite pictures of myself wearing heels...I did something with these that I typically don't do when posting pictures.
Quite the European look; very nice!!

As I work mostly alone in a private office, I sometimes can "heel;" the problem is if one of my co-workers or bosses shows up. It has actually happened but usually I can get them off first and change before I answer the front door.
Once though, I was trapped in my office and I had to get them off with my co-worker there (but of course I have a big "U" shaped desk that you can't see over or through so it wasn't that bad.
Would love to "legally" heel though.

Nice look HappyFeat. Really like the boots. You did good about not coping a tude. Sounds like an inbox redneck who don't mount to a hill o beans any who. LOL.
100% agreed on both counts!!!

Great look, so glad you took my advice!!!!!!!!!

Great new avatar HappyFeat!

I would say that it is off two sizes too small in the US and UK as opposed to the Euro.

But I had fun and was really involved in the game, not caring if anyone noticed the tall, African-American man in heels and a skirt gesturing and gyrating with every roll of the ball.
Come, come now! Never mind the heels and skirt!! But GYRATING in the store, for shame, for shame........
LOL

Looks good!

Agreed, agreed, agreed! Those pants were not pants of choice but pants of opportunity. That is the problem with "men's" pants; they are not form fitting enough from the knee up and then don't flare enough for boots on the way down!
If I had my druthers, I would wear "women's" exclusively but my wife would have some real issues with that one!
I'll have some much better pix with the same boots and more appropriate pants coming up in about a week.

Great article. Truly a blast from the past, but interesting and still appropriate for today. At least men have been liberated from some of that early 20th Century stiffness.

Well your stepdaughter is just silly and needs to be reminded that age has nothing to do with wanting to look good (hot). Remind her that it won't be long until somebody is saying the same things to her...we all get old (if we are lucky, at least)
Yes, she is silly in more ways than one, but the "young boy's jeans" WAS A COMPLIMENT! It's nice to get them every so often!

I would love a pair of boots in bone! When I bought the Goor boots, the only other colors they had were black and brown in addition to the colors I bought.
I believe that we're both the same size; it would cost you!!!!!!!!!
LOL
