Anything else you wish to add: I love this forum, it's given me MUCH courage and positive feelings. See you in future posts!

  2. It would be great for me to finally see a man in heels in real life. The only time I saw one in Belgium was Falco in Idool 2011, have you seen that? He was in heels and the show and magazines made fun of him for it. If people can write articles anonymously, they suddenly have the power and courage to make rude comments and stories about heeling men. But face to face they have less to say! I've only been out of the house twice, making strolls in my wedge sneakers. I don't really have a lot of courage yet. It will get better if I'll buy some less obvious real heels, the pumps I own are a bit too obvious for me (for now). I should however practice a bit more, as my feet get sore already after walking for 10 minutes.

  3. It's in our genes to express power. Males who looked strong and manly got more females, more children. As female behavior is generally seen as softer, weaker than male behavior, it is supressed to make sure our kids don't fall out of this power-based society. It's the same with animals, if male animals behave and look like female animals, they won't have the chance to mate and reproduce. So, it's a natural given that female behavior is surpressed in males. BUT, we, humans, have a developed brain and a strong culture. We have already freed ourselves from most of these heritages of our old natural histrory. We must be able to get rid of this too. Even, if we continue to think in the evolutionary way, men with a feminine side are likely to be loving and good parents, more than extremely masculine men. Don't you think?

  4. So you injured your feet by falling on nails and can't wear closed shoes because of the bandage? Allright, but isn't your sole hurt the most by the fall? And wearing heels is not a problem with your injured feet? The shoes look allright, but I'm not a big fan of those pointy pumps.

  5. I had another small conversation about it today. My mom found out about a payment on an e-shop, I just told her the truth that I had bought another pair. The problem is that I had already promised her not to buy any more shoes, she thinks 2 pairs is more than enough for me! (so not true!) When eating, we talked a little bit about it. She asked me again what I do with them, if I wear them, walk around in them, what I do in them? She said that if it's normal for me to buy heels, why don't I buy other stuff like skirts, bra's, etc... I told her I Just like to wear them for the feeling, not for the feminine aspect. I told her heels were originally male things, but women took a monopoly over them. I told that I don't care about society's opinion, which she already knows. I told her that I wear them, walk around in them at home (didn't tell her about the few times I took a walk on the streets), and how I do regular stuff in them. I made clear it's like a hobby for me. I said I respected how she felt about them, but then she said that she tried to respect me for how I am, because she can't change me. Looks like with enough patience and effort, I'll get through it and have it accepted! I said that it's probably hard for her to picture me in heels, and asked in a joking way if she wanted a demonstration. She said it wasn't really necessary. I'll try to be "caught" in heels on purpose some times, see if I can slightly lift the barrier. I'm looking forward to a bright heeling future!

  6. by the way, I got these today:

    http://www.sarenza.i...920-p0000067628

I was even so lucky to find them in size EU 42 so they make a good alternative to the buffalos

I own the same ones in brown-white, but I found them a little too low. They just felt like they were shaped wrong. I solved this by folding toilet paper and adding around 2 cm/ 1 inch of paper to the back of the shoe. I then put a regular shoe sole on top of it and it fitted perfectly! Do you find them comfortable the way they are or do you experience the same problem as me?

  7. i know for sure that I will stay with my family for at least 5 more years. Next year I'm going to university and my class locations are all quite near my home. I also really love my home, my family. I wouldn't move out just to wear heels. I hope to have reached acceptance for wearing heels openly at home within half a year. That would be great. I don't know if it will ever happen, but I can only hope so!
