  1. Hey, if he doesn't want to smile, or not smile like others want him to, then that's his business! Look at the models walking the catwalk, they are wearing clothes to die for, and no one smiles. Most of them are in a daze, probably drinking too much booze and a lack of real food backstage.

  2. Why not? Is there any difference for heels for men and heels for women iif they are all 4" heels. A lot of women bought them and posted comments on the website saying how much they love wearing them. Plus, I don't have to justify what I wear. I'm not one of those people: I love to wear heels, but only inside my house. Please get over yourselves for doing that, and stop worrying about what others think. No one else could care less!

  3. I know what you mean! I have a pair of tall boots $700 and a pair of non designer boots $150. Both are just as comfortable. I think that mostly the designer ones are a status symbol. I love designer stuff, but I'm really careful not to get them scuffed up. My cheap tall boots, I don't care if I walk thru the mud with them. So cheap heels can still be very comfortable. If I have a chance to get a pair of charlotte olympia hh boots for a decent price, I would jump at the opportunity.

  4. I know it might sound strange, but I wasn't attracted to heels when a was young. It was womens clothes in general. I liked the bell bottom jeans, long sweaters that could almost pass as a dress. But I really started to love heels when flare leather pants get popular in the late 90s. If you didn't wear them with heels, then they would bunch up at the bottom, but heels made the legs so long. I've always loved the long legs- short torso look. I try to capture that look for myself. But I remember seeing a woman in the liine at the bank with tight flare dress pants on with square-toe pumps or booties on, and mosty of the shoe was covered until she walked, and you could see the beautiful heels. I never recovered from that. I wanted to dress like that so bad. Then a saw a special on the news on fluevog heels for men. It was the prince george heels. I went into the store, tried them on, loved them but couldn't pay $400 on a pair of shoes. I wasn't the fashionista I am now! When I was walking out, I glanced over the the womens shoes thinking that they weren't much different, the cool thing was, they were all heels. The possibilities! But I was too scared to try on girls shoes. The next month I went back in there, I bought a pair of the portside pumps. 4..5" of sexyness. I got them on sale for $199, I wore them out, but couldn't walk any more than two blocks in them wiithout my ankles turning. Sort of like a kid learning to ice skate for the first time. I was worried that I wasted my money on somethiing that would stay in my closet forever or be sold on e-bay. But I wore them at home a lot and got used to them. Pretty soon I could run in them. Now 2 years later I have 25 pairs of fluevogs, and I have 3 other portside pumps as backups, 2 which I dyed different colours. I summarize a long boring story for you guys: that woman in the bank 10 years ago inspired me to dress in a certain way. I wear heels every day and only have been insulted once, and I was wearing mens 70s platforms. Maybe that's why I was insulted. I love wearing heels and enjoy the compliments I get from women.

  5. I know what you mean about being too compacent. I wouldn't go in a bad part of town dressed in hooker boots(that's what I call them!). But I still believe I should be able to dress the way I like to. A woman at church asked me where I got my shoes. Too awesome. Its so nice to not have to justify that I'm wearing wearing womens clothes. Just another person. Who loves fashion. Someone who isn't into fashion won't get it! I'm very much into dressing genderless. I believe if you like a certain, there's no reason you can't wear it. But theere are certain items that are womens domain, like bras, and things that are mens domain. But women seem to wear what they want. We can learn something from that. But I might try to part my hair in the middle. Ill send a pic as soon as I put the right items together. Tthanks for the advise tbg, I respect you, and also you've bbeen doing it a lot longer than me.

  6. Thanks guys for the king words. Isn't it funny how everything is a progression. 2 years ago I would never have the guts to wear boots over pants, and as a result, I would chop the shafts so they don't bunch up too much under jeans. Now I wear the boots over the pants all the time. And now I'm thinking what was I so worried about anyway. Even with the black eye make-up. I can't go out without it. What im getting at is that everybody here has a certain look they like. There's no reason why one gender can do certain things and the other gender is not allowed to. Not really fair. In a perfect world we all would be wearing heels and stylist clothes everywhere. The only place I don't wear the high heel boots over pants is at work and to church, only because my brother works there and I wouldn't want him to lose any creditability because of me. Its a helpless feeling because rthis time of year most of thhe women wear the knee boots and some wear otk boots to church. But I stiill wear pumps and booties with 5" heels with jeans, tight coats, and the heavy makeup. No problems at all, in fact I've gotten quite a few compliments. One woman wears really high heels, miniskirts, and low cut tops and total rockstar hair, and she always says how she likes my look. I guess it really doesn't matter what the gender us, you like what you like I think we should dress the way we feel comfortable. ILK has said that so many times, dress the way you like to, not like its against the law! People will get used to it. Even my parents can tolerate it, maybe not like it. Hey, it could be worse, I could dress like a rapper with the drop-ass pants and stupid basball cap sideways. I have to have more respect for myself than that.

  7. I got a weird comment for a sa in rudsak(fashion store up in Canada). I tried on a pair of high heel boots. The woman sa said they look awesome, but the male sa that was helping me, said they look too feminine on me. Rude! I'm sure most people on this site knows how I like tpo look and dress. I was going to buy a womens sweater buy he didn't deserve to get any commission from me. I'm going to buy it at the burlington location. Aren't high heel boots supposed to look feminine?

  8. Make-up now? Hopefully that wasn't my doing. Be careful, it gets addictive. Nothing wrong with it as all. Everybody on tv wears it, and it doesn't matter what gender. We have to see some pics. Maybe the makeup will match the headband. Just kidding. Ash.

  9. Just sexy in general. Do women dress sexy just to attract men. Not entirely. They dress sexy just to dress sexy. Same with me. If you don't want to dress sexy, then you wouldn't wear heels. Are you wearing heels for the whole purpose to pick up women? Think about that. It doesn't matter who I would be attracted to anyway. If wanted everybody to knoiw if I'm gay, or straight I would have done so.

  10. Thanks again, guys. Something weird happened last week. I was with a friend at the mall. We were walking back to the car after buying some beer. We were going to a house party that night. I had a pair of high heel boots on. My friends parents and a lot of older people were going to be there. I said, maybe I should dress normal, and not wear any slut clothes. He freaked out on me! He said: I don't get you! You strut around everywhere looking like a lady gaga wannabe, but now you are afraid of looking like that in front of my parents. Get over yourself! My parents grew up listening to glamrock! If I could fit into the shit you wear, I'd do it too!

  11. My parents have no problem with the heels. They don't like them, but they realise I'm happy wearing them. Makeup and really tight clothes are a different ball of wax. My brothers girlfriend asked me if I liked the new mascara I picked up. Obviously, my mom overheard! She freaked out. My dad is different, he will let me live my life anyway I like, as long as I'm happy. He make light of the siituation. He walked out in the living room with my moms wig on. Too funny. We were laughing. My mom asked me if a was gay. I said no, because I'm not. But I missed a perfect opportunity to tell her I'm TG, and am trapped in the wrong body. But I couldn't put her through all that stress. Everybody else knows except my parents. I would rather her not know, she would not understand. My dad would be supportive. Buut wearing heels is fine, and they know I have some girls clothes, but don't know how much. They would freak iif they saw my heel collection, and of course my make-up and womens coat collection. Its all so harmless anyway. I started wearing womens clothes, because I can get smaller sizes that fit me perfectly. Then I really started to like various things females wear. All you guys can understand that. Mens clothes are boring, and do nothing to make your body look sexy! So in essence, I do it for fashion, just like everybody else here.

  12. I love the fall/winter fashion as well. Long coats, cardigans, tall boots over leggings, and some stylish layering. So much more to put together this time of year. I get inspiration from the women out and about. Thank god its too cold for flip-flops, as least most women. And men look worse in them. Not that I would get any inspiration from the way men dress in my area, unless I want to work for a pest-control company. Btw, I really like your stylish look. I would like to put some of that into my look, I'm too funky for my own good.

  13. Thanks for the tip kneehighs! I guess you are referring to close-up picture of my face one. Ya, I don't like how it turned out. I'm still new to photography, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. Any tip would be very helpful. I'm very pleased with my transformation over the last year. You can see the difference in my gallery pictures. Meanwhile, I'm going to keep looking in my fashion books, and magazines for insripation.
