  2. Thanks for the advice Jeffb. Everything is new territory for me. I realise that a customer is a customer. There is no law that says we can't dress the way we like. You're right, I don't need to justify how I look. I'm just being myself.

  3. Sometimes we go too far the way we are dressed. I was out to dinner, and I said to the waitress: I guess you never see me dressed like this before? I had hair ext. Past halfway down my back, kneehigh stiletto boots and more makeup that a celeb would wear on the red carpet(think of victoria beckham dressed like a ho going to your favorite family restaurant. The waitress said: to each their own. You look just fine, honey. I don't know why I said anything in the first place, just like you. Now I realize that I can dress anyway I want, as long as I got clothes on. There are laws that protect us. No descrimination. Sorry for hijacking your thread. I always look forward to reading your outings.

  4. Its great you wear what you like. It just makes life more enjoyable. The leggings, long sweater, kneehigh boots thing is my favorite look. Ii would like to see you in a few outfits like that.

  5. I would buy them if I had money to burn, or not feeling guilty buying them. What would you rather have, one pair of beautiful, high fashion boots, or a whole bunch of cheap ones that you end up throwing away?

  6. I went to a shoe store last year looking for heels. She brought out a pair of kneehigh boots with 5" heels. She said: $5, wear them for haloween! Is said: I don't need halloween to strut in killer heels. She almost passed out. Just for the record, a look a lot different than I did last year. I should have bought them. What is $5? A bus fare?

  7. Thanks for putting that on the table that their shoes are quite odd. I never totally realised it. But I have had some trouble deciding what goes with certain outfits. I know you don't like platforms. Or jackstands like you say. I've tried heels without plats many times, and they just don't do it for me. There is no wow factor. I love the platforms, maybe because they look a little sultry, but not the crazy louboutin really high plats, they are just too chunky. But a 1.5" plat is okay for me. And I'm most comfortable in 4.5" heels, they are everyday wear for me. I respect everybodys opinions on outfits,I'm always trying to re-invent myself. My next 40 years in life will be different than my first 40 years, and its exciting.

  8. Happynheels, thanks for the compliment. That was probably the nicest thing anyone said to me. She is probably 50 plus. She is probably no taller than 5 foot, so no wonder she wears heels. I see her at church every sunday. I usually wear skinny flare jeans, 5" heels, womens coats, heavy black eye makeup and hair extensions. It might sound extreme, but women fought have fought hard to be able to wear whatever they want to. I'm was not bodn female, but you are right, I'm lucky to not have facial hair, and have a body like a skinny model. Some day I will transition from m to f. I know I'm not supossed to talk about that on this site, but I love who I have become. I'm glad that others like my presentation.

  9. Hey jeff, I know what you mean about the bunch of women in skirts and heels. I was in the fashion mecca of toronto at bay and bloor streets. There were a ton of women around me in heels. The sound was intoxicating. Are your jaunts more frequent lately? Looking good! Ashley

  10. Jeff, you look quite natural in the skirt. If someone wants to wear a skirt as a guy, this would be it. Good for you for going out in bare legs too! A couldn't do that. There has to be some king of hosiery. Quite a contrast from your last jaunt. Btw, thanks for the link on the dress you wore. I'm going to look for one like that. Hopefully a size 0 isn't too hard to find. I think I have to eat more! I would love to see what you could put together once you get up to jaunt #300.

  11. Thanks tbg! I'm supossed to wear glasses all the time, maybe I'll just wear more eye-makeup with them. Btw, the trumpet heels with the big buckles are fluevog munsters. The same ones Madonna wore in truth or dare. So I still have I biit of rock-chick look, but I'm trying to dress more classy.

  12. Thanks jeffb! You are right, I need a decent camera. I felt I was looking good, so I took a few pics. I was out for the evening with my hair clipped in and make-up on, so when I got home, I put on the hose and heels, but will go out in a dress very soon. There iis a dress I want to buy from rudsak that is formfitted with long sleeves, a turtleneck, leather sleeves and leather trim at the bottom, and is a little longer than a miini-dress. I want to wear it with lace hose and high-heel boots. That's my thing, I've always felt very special wearing boots they have free make-up applications at shoppers drug mart(in canada). They have an amazing cosmetics section and all they request is that you buy one of their products. I can always use some blush or lipstick. I would love to go the cat-eye look that amy winehouse had(rest her soul). Ill post some pics asap. Thanks for others showing me I can wear more feminine things, and look good in them.

  13. Make-iup is addictive, isn't it? I love the look of very defined eyes. You're giving me ideas on lipstick. I even want to try lip-liner. I would kill for angelina jolie lips. Its great you're able to go out and wear whatever you like. I'm the same way, except I don't strive for a male appearance. I guess that defeats the purpose "for the guys" forum. But these little things make us unique. I'd be interested to know how many pairs of heels you have. It seems you have a lot to choose from. I have around 50 pairs of shoes and boots, and mostly in the 4-5" heel range. Its always fun reading about your outings. Ashley.

  14. Hey jeff, I love the dress. And you look great wearing it! I would wear it for sure. What brand is it? I especially love the bottom part of it, and the hose. Ii would have loved to see a pic without the over-blouse. But it was a very classy outfit. So happy for you!

  15. What is age anyway? I'm 40, but dress like a twenty-something woman. If you look good in it, then why not! Jeff, love the dress. I have a few pics of me in skirts and dresses that I'm going to post as soon as I can get to a computer. Would I dress my age where society expects me to, of course not. Not a pencil-skirt would look awesome with tall boots and hose with lace in them.
