  1. Maybe I don't know the meaning of the word fetish. For me its a normal thing to wear heels. So its a style and not a fetish. I'm new to this site so ill try not to be igronant in the furure. Happy heeling!

  2. Any of you tell your parents about your heel fetish? My parents know about my 70s platform and chunky boots obsession. I don't wear stilletos because I have bad ankles from running track, and have to stabibility with a tiny spike. Just interested what parents or close friends would think. Although, I'm so much into high fashion that I would wear whatever I want. I wear chunky boots every day and don't think its out of the norm to dress that way. Just me.

  3. 70s plats were the coolest. My parents were squares, never wore them. I was born in 72 and now have a whole closet full of them. Pretty soon ill have a whole room full of them. I respect someone 100 percent who loves this amazing period of fashion. Keeping it real superfly!

  4. I have a pair of 70s zip up boots that I got a higher heel and platform put on. They are light brown and have a nice weave pattern on top on where your toes go. They look like something nancy wilson from heart would wear. Anyway, they are 1 size too big. They are 10.5. I stuffed 2 insoles and a half an insole under the ball of the foot and have to wear double socks. After this they pretty much fit. But a can't walk in them very long. I guess you can't walk in platforms very long anyway. I usually don't buy boots that don't fit, but these look so cool. not very often can you find real 70s boots. I can't stand cowboy boots, but love platforms and frye campus boots. Are there any other ways to make my boots fit better? Any advise would be great!

  5. 70s shoes are the coolest. I have 2 pairs of plat shoes. And 2 plat boots. I admire anyone who can dress totally vintage from this amazing time of fashion. Wouldn't is he cool to go into any department store and buy platforms and bells. Keeping it real!

  6. I still don't have full access to the site yet. But I will post my collection asap. I love the 70s chunky heel boots and gogo boots, but am starting to get into skinnier heels. There is a shoe store in toronto that sells s inch heels for men. But they are 400 dollars. And are no different to womens heeled boots at half the price. Another great store in toronto is house of vintage. I bought a pair of womens boots tried them on and wore them home. The funny thing is they were a size 8, and I'm a size 8 mens. The brand is called airbourne from argentina. They are red leather knee high side zipped with a 3 inch heel. Do you guys know anything about this brand? Talk to you guys later.

  7. any of you guys like 70's platforms. I have 2 pairs of shoes. one with a 3 inch heel and one with a 3.5 inch heel which is a wedge. one pair of womens boots that i got a higher heel and platform on. But my pedwin platform shoe i wear it only on special occasions because they are deadstock and i dont want to wear them out. I want then to last another 40 years. do you guys find that platform boots are the hardest to find. I want the real deal with the 3 or 4 inch heel and with the cool patchwork. not the knock-off fake crap they sell off of ebay.

  8. 70's platforms are where its at. Shoes will never be made like these again. I have a pair of pedwin 3 inch plats. They are the best shoes i ever wore. i could wear them all day every day with no pain. I even wore them on a date. i got no negative feedback with them. The best places to buy heels is at vintage stores. Im toronto, they have the best vintage clothes in north america. I try to find vintage shoes that have never been worn before. A great place to shop is House of Vintage in Toronto. The selection is amazing. When you shop in this place everything is pretty much unisex. I got a pair of 3 inch womens heeled boots. Redish brown knee high with a side zip for $55.00 canadian dollars. The sales girl said they looked awesome. She even gave me a bag to carry home the boots i walked in with. Another good store is 69 vintage, which is across the street. Next time i go there i want to find a nice pair of frye boots for the winter time. half of my footwear is mens and half is womens. But there is no difference really. In the 70's everybody wore plats and bells. Just like today where both sexes wear skinny jeans. Back then you were ultra cool if you wore platforms.
