:smile:Hello, I like the story, at first I thought it a bit far off, but I continued reading and loved it. We now have to wait impatiently for the reaction when your friends greet you in your lovely boots. DOOOOOOOOOO teeeeeeeeeelll Muddypaws:wavey:

:penitent:Hi all, All very good thoughts and observations. There ias no definitive answer. Some grow some don't. You will just have to wait. If you want womens shoes, then by all means get them, but don't go OTT as you could end up spending a lot of hard earned cash, only to find they do not fit soon. Just get a pair that you like a lot, and stay with that choice for a while, getting plenty of practice. You will know when the time is right.....eventually. I wore my Mom's shoes as a teenager, I can't remember how long ago, but I find that I can usually fit a size 41 perfectly, but an 8 or 7 may be OK. You will have to try them for yourself before you know which is the one for you. Different lasts by different makers differenty size. At 73, I still take 41 eu See all our answers in "Do you try on in the shop" for more guidance. Muddypaws.

:smile:Hi all, I 100% agree with these sentiments and observations. Do it. I found Barratts(good heels) to be good too. Whenever I go in an assisitant always comes to me when I'm looking at heels and asks if she can help, and in no "funny" way, quite genuinely. Some times I say yes just for the fun of it. New Look are always having new styles,(and good heels) and you can try on there without any assistant, you are on your own there, just the other shoppers. Most of these shops only go to 4 inch. I think that is the optimum for most people in everyday use. It is me. I can wear them as comfortable as my slippers, in fact thats how I think of them these days. (& nights) Do it. Do it. Do it. Enjoy. Muddypaws

Hi Lorriette :online2long:You are telling a good tale here, don't stop now. I know the feeling, but that's history as they say. It does not stop me wanting more. I love the way you tell it. Muddypaws:queen:

I loved the story. I don't care if it was posted before, it stands for retelling...many times. The ifs put up by the readers are if onlys, and are forgotten. A great story, and your shoes in the avatar are beautiful. I too think they could be those in your story. I wondered if "mom" would come and take over where B/F left off, or what was going to come next. All ???????????s I just had to read on to answer my doubts. Lets have more like it. Muddypaws.

Hi all,
I just went looking at that site, the German one, they have some lovely looking shoes there. My favourite would be the 5" loepards with "Gold" heels. Wow. My old ones are due for the relpacement treatment. They are 30 years old now. I wonder if my daughter would let me have a pair delivered to her for me. She always wants to know if I have bought anything new, and lets have a look. What more could I ask? Even told me where to go to find a different shop. With LOTS of styles and no one to harass. I think they enjoy looking at the vds at the end of the day.
I found the Amazon.com site too, they have a lot of HIGH ones too. But guess what? All the sizes are given in Mens US-Not womens. They obviously know their customers.

I don't know how you do it! I'd love to see you, and even more try to wear some 7" beasts, for they must be. Some day I may find a shop that sells such, and have a chance to try them on, just for the hell of it. Dream on boy!!!!!!!! muddypaws:thumbsup:

Hi everybody, The Daily Mail (UK) featured these wonderful looking shoes on the 23 February 2008. Our BBC television also did a feature with them, having a woman out in a shopping precinct asking if others could or would wear them. I have tried to upload pics, but must have another look. Muddypaws

:speechless:Hi all, Last weekend I went to see my "children " i n the west midlands. I knew I was goingto be late so I agreed to meet them in the local disco. so i arrived in town at midnight and gave them a ring to say I was here. I knew where the place was so I made my way there to be lovingly greeted by my son. We had a good evening of music and a few drinks. Me not many ....I was Chaffeur. They got into the back of the car and my son found my heels. (He knows) and said I have told Mary, she is OK. Then he said you could have worn these tonight, no one would have said anything. So the next time I have the opportunity,(when ccan I make one) I will walk up to the door in my heels, whichever pair I have with me, and go in as if I am "normal" I am looking forward to that night. It will be the first time I have truly been out in public. Oh ye of little faith!!!!!! Muddypaws
