  1. Wow! As you say they are STUNNING. I'd love to get my feet into those beauties.

I'm in 5" just now, but that extra 15mm would make all the difference.

I think I could just about wear them and walk in them. Opportunity is a fine thing.

Going to get a pair of Red 5" from www.niccishoes.com today. I'll have pics soon. May change my avatar to show them.

Well I managed to get a bit of free time for myself today, totally unexpected, so went down to my favourite "shop" in the village here, and got the Red Shoes  I had on order. I just did not believe the shade of RED they are. I promised you that I would post when I got them. Here they are from www.niccishoes.com They ship anywhere. Have all of their stock on ebay, or their own site.

    Here they are.

  3. Thanks, Muddypaws. Are these the shoes? http://www.pricelessshoes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_11051_-1_121014_11051

If so, they do not appear to be listed as available above size 9, whether or not still in stock. Curious if you found them in an 11, although the plain patent version and other courts and boots are/were available in 11. (I'm not really interested in shoes like these; I don't like platforms or peep toes on male or female feet.)

    :wave:Yeah them's 'em.

Or more english, Yes . those are they. Right first time.

The point being, the size. The fact that that is now stock size.

  4. That welcome development has already been noted and acted upon, muddypaws, as you will see from various other postings!

Which branch was it you visited? Did it actually have any 11s in stock, or were they merely advertised as being available to order? (Last time I looked, the website seemed to suggest that the larger sizes were mostly not in branch stock and couldn't be reserved for collection there. However, the mail order option is quite efficient and extra discounts are often available.)

Hi Puffer, I obiously missed that post.

:online2long:They had them on the shelf. Discount? These were only £5.00 FIVE QUID. At Weston-super-Mare. England.

Shiny Black Patent with HIGH HEELS about 5+ inches and "gold" heels and platform, just a little one. There were others designs, but they caught my eyes.

    I could not believe it.

  5. Hi, I had a look down the page and the "Victoria" really caught my eye! Yours are a beautiful pair, I'm sure you have a lovely outfit to wear with them. I always take the platform height off the heel height to find what the actual "lift" is. Nothing less than 4" for me these days. Great choice. Muddypaws

  6. Ok, here are my two lastest purchases, Yay! This is my first post with attached pics, so hope it works. Your basic Black 5 inch pumps and Black 5 inch open toe with a chrome heel. Opinions please. I ordered them online and didn't know that the heel was chromed, and I kinda wish the heel was black and I'm considering a paint job. Next post will be " how do I repaint my heel?"

:yummy:I like both of them. I would not bother with the paint job, they are OK as they are. A nice broad ankle strap too for more cmffortable wearing.

They are a perfect fit by the looks of them. Very good Buy.

  7. I had some time, so I played with some of the suggestions that many of you offered on my limited dress esnambles. Again, these outifts are more experimental than anything and with the weather being the way it has been in my part of the world (snow, snow, and more snow with a lot of cold thrown in) my heeling outfits have been pretty traditional. It was fun taking some time to play...

Image 16 is a redo of those images...black velvet jacket, black sheer nylons and Nine West "Thyme" pumps...

Images 18 and 19 include different sets of faux pearl necklaceses...

Image 19 is a shoe boot (Bass "Alanis" leather/suede bootie) with natural nylons...

Image 17 is a long wool coat with an Ann Klein black wide belt and Nine West "Blondie" boots...

I used a scarf as a belt in Image 18. The purple scarf to accent my purple Nine West "Nucio" pumps.

Image 20 is bare legged with black Nine West "Tomcat" sandals/slides. I recently got a pedicure so my toes are gold once again (just had dark green removed). I used added a couple pieces of gold jewelry to for accent.

Image 20 I have a black lace scarf draped over my shoulders (I wanted to wear it as a belt, but couldn't get the look I wanted) and brought out a thin gold necklace. Images 17 and 19 feature belts with silver buckles, though they are wide.

I hope you enjoy the pictures. Either way, I am open to thoughts, ideas, etc. These combination are a bit over the top, so they likely will never see the light of day, but you never know...

:wave:I don't see why you should hide those away. They all look good to me. The first would be my choice for favourite, if only for the shoes.

I am not into dressing, but good luck to you who are. Go by your own ideas, It's enough.

  8. Glad to see that there are several open-minded people here besides me. I have said this before and I am sure that Muddypaws knows this quite well---'The second 50,000 miles isn't as pleasant as the first 50,000 miles. And the golden years sometimes seems like rust.

    Cheers---

:smile:In spite of all that's said, I still manage a big smile now and again....Especially when I see something and say to myself, "He'll learn" maybe!:pulsingheart:

  9. Hopefully I labeled these correctly...

#1: Report Signature "Sigourney" (4th link above) - sz 10, fit is ok and they're nice, but not wild about em - Return!

#2: Nine West "Babealish" (3rd link) - sz 10.5, fit is typical Nine West - at 6'1" I don't need the 1/2" platform, but they're cute - Keeper!

    #3 & #4: Lumiani "Laddie" (1st link) - sz 11, good fit, patent doesn't shine like a mirror, but I didn't have a black patent almond-toe yet - Keeper!

#5: Nine West "Jaewon" (5th link) - sz 10.5, again the slight platform, but don't have any shoes in taupe currently - Keeper!

I didn't take any pics of the other black patent ones (RSVP "Hayes", 6th link) - they are sz 10 but true to size or a 1/2 size small - Return!

I'm going to keep the black and cream-colored oxfords (2nd link), just didn't have time to snap pics.

If they were mine I would send them all to my store. Wherevere I could keep them. They all look much better than the first shots you gave us.

Personally I, it looks as if the first two are much too big for your feet. I could not walk in them, even though I think them all lovely.

Just MHO. I AM PROBABLY WRONG AGAIN.

  10. :smile:Hello Dawn, and all, You have a way of putting your words across. You are quite right-again, as another of the same age, I know what you are saying, and agree with you. I had bowel cancer 5 years ago. Went had the op and left the hospital. I have since been back several times for my check- up, scans and all the uncomfortable things that go with it. I went back last month for more of the same. Uuugghhh. Nevertheless, the end result was they said everything is normal. Don't come back unless you have trouble. There is also the Angina, but take the pills and carry on as ever. So I do! Golf, all 18 holes regularly, Bowls often, and anything else I want to do. Just booked to take the Caravan to France again this year, for 3 months, touring of course. I get out many evenings too. I don't let that ugly number stop me enjoying life. Your birthday only tells you you are another day older! I am still walking around in my 5" heels (and others) a lot of the time, including taking the dog for her walk at night. My partner still does not like it, but I have my times and make opportunities for myself. So if I am here tomorrow, I shall have a quiet day? but then the kids may come round, bingo, another excitement, I know I have the Sunday Roast to do, and son will be here for that. Then Monday is Golf. Life is one big whirl. Love you all and love to hear from you all. :pulsingheart::wave::happy: Muddypaws

  11. It's been a while since the last showing of my style.

It's been busy and I didn't have much time to spare for photos. I also don't really like taking photos at home since they don't come out too well(I seem to be 10 pounds heavier in the photos, especially in the face. The lighting isn't great either). Until I set up my home photo studio equipment and proper lighting (as well as get a better camera), home photos will be so so. I'd rather take photos outside but the winter weather makes that a difficult task. So, I'll try and post what I can for now.

Anyway, I dressed up for an outing to a local club. Yup, I've finally found a couple of clubs that are tolerant to flamboyant/special styles in the city. I took these pictures before leaving.

    The outfit I'm wearing is:

    - Jewellery accessories (bracelet, necklace)

    - "Attitude" purple tunic/dress (purchased at Sears)

    - Thick black leather belt and round silver buckle

    - Black tights from "Garage"

    - Black leather otk boots with 3.5 inch cone heel and round toe, made by Italian maker "Vera Gomma", purchased at a store in Piazza de Spagna in Rome. I wasn't sure if the boots would fit (I didn't try them on at the store for lack of time and courage) since they were an Italian size 40. I was so happy that they did fit and they are very comfortable, great for dancing in the club and making the girls jealous lol.

:yummy:Great shots, and style, you always make it look so easy. You seem to be getting even better.

  12. Recently, I bought this long top while consignment shopping. When I tired it on, I thought it was a dress, but it is just a tad too short. I loved it and figured that it would be nice to wear with leggings, but think it can be a little more versatile. It is nylon and the label is Chicos. I have thrown together a few outfits with it, but would love some ideas on how to accessorize or make the best use of it. Thanks.

#1 - Top with black leggings and calf length black boots

#2 - Top with black leggings and tall black boots

#3 - Top with black stirrup pants (yes, I know) and black pumps

#4 - Top with brown leggings and brown pumps

#5 - Top with boot cut jeans and caramel slingbacks

Well done, a good set of pics there. Favourite for me has to bee No. 3, but then the last one with the jeans and brown heels and little built in platform.

  13. Hi Heelapile,

I echo Dawn's comments, these are a very smart collection. Looking forward to you in them.

    Muddypaws:-)

I have been getting cramps quite often in my legs. I can be perfectly relaxed and sound asleep and then they hit me. I get them in both thighs and both calves all at the same time and I can't get out of bed fast enough and I don't have enough hands to massage all 4 places at once to alleviate the pain. And then later on they can hit me again in exactly the same places. Boy, talk about pain. You and I are the same age so I am sure you know exactly what I'm talking about. I have been taking medication for years for that on an as needed basis, but it just doesn't seem to do anything for it now. It might be time to discuss this problem again with my PCP. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Cheers---

    Dawn HH

:mecry:Hi Dawn, yes we are and yes I do. Only when you get can you know how painful it can be.

My remedy works for me. No further:pulsingheart: rcomment needed.
