JeffB, thanks for the advice. It's not the easiest of subjects to discuss but thanks for the advice. I have ordered some tummy control briefs, that will help. Stronger material skirts / kilts also help. I find lighter colors make things worse, so I'm sticking to grays blacks navy when it comes to pencil skirts, and the type of material. I want to wear them as a guy, I don't want to 'pass' as a woman. I think the limited fashion choice for men has to change, even some of the rappers are realizing its time to dress how they really feel... http://rumorfix.com/...omens-clothing/ though sadly there is a backlash and 'followers' are calling it 'faggotry' and other more unmentionable things... they said the same about skinny jeans, and look, all the sheep are wearing those now, so I'm sure it will be the same with skirts... if that link didn't work, google 'Trinidad James', he's the latest to embrace the skirt along with A$AP Rocky Kilts are nice, but damned expensive compared to a skirt

Thanks, I ordered a tummy control slip, and some briefs, its one size smaller than my regular skirt size, and hope that goes toward making stuff less visible. Also that beige skirt's material is quite flimsy, its not as tight on my hips and thighs as I'd like so more likely for stuff to show. I just want to dress as a guy like JeffB, but keep it casual. The kilts need no explanation, I have a denim kilt I wear, and black denim pencil skirt along with a smarter black pencil skirt that I wear to work on dress down Fridays that I can team with a polo shirt and flats like our trend-setter JeffB... I am getting my colleagues used to me in the kilts before slipping in a regular skirt or two Still looking for a nice set of boots to complete the look, with some nice heels

Thanks for the advice.. I was looking at a pic of mine in a beige skirt and think I need to hide the salami... I dont want VPL so aside from a half slip I dont know what would help... aside from trying to squeeze into a size 6 (UK ... tummy control panties are quite pricey and the Mrs has only just gotten used to me in pencil skirts though she wants me to wear darker colored ones like black, gray, navy... (skirts btw not underwear....) I also wear kilts (hence the name) of the same kinda shades...
I will upload a pic of the beige one for your opinion... http://www.hhplace.org/uploads/gallery/album_319/gallery_15255_319_82636.jpg

I love the second pic and am looking for a sexy, tight skirt like that one... the only awkward issue I have with regular pencil skirts as opposed to denim is what kind of underwear would help control my... er anatomy. I want that smooth look to the front of the garment, when I wear a denim skirt it is no issue due to tougher material. Could you give me some pointers pls? Conversely I ordered a denim pencil skirt off eBay, instead of the usual fare ...

Finally you're coming round to my way of thinking, JeffB! regular pencil skirts (non-denim) look great on guys, I found this pic on the web... http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/rb0jOCvCT9QAdL_v1g9HTkFrP4p_S7rH1Je70NeqrK4?feat=embedwebsite teamed with the right heels and even a polo top, it's a look you could demonstrate to us one day... I like this look http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-92jdlgnOWhw/UTXiRnx4UgI/AAAAAAAAFgc/9NUFveEmJFQ/s1600/girl+in+animal+print+shirt+pencil+skirt+tights+blue+pumps.jpg but I'll add my own touch to it.. push the envelope and show us a real pencil skirt soonMany thanks! I certainly liked that outfit, and I felt good wearing it too! And yes, I will have to see about wearing more pencil skirts in the future as they really suit me.

Looks very sharp, LimeSF, I really don't go out anymore but enjoy doing my home office tasks, which sometimes involve stepping just outside the front door, wearing what I would like. I don't think I've done any kind of outside heeling since, maybe March. Today was another day of working from home so I paired a dark gray long sleeve shirt with a black skirt. Black sheer hosiery and classic patent almond toe pumps with a small platform finished things off. I'll admit, I really like this look. It sits between traditional men's and women's business casual and was quite comfortable.

Tesco staff stare at anyone that time of night. ?. They are trying to stay awake These are only shelf-stacking worker bees, so don't worry... I took a late night skirted trip (wearing pencil skirt and flats) and went to buy some bread... some of the staff were as excitable as chimpanzees but I paid them no mind
-
Jeff, Would you ever consider a regular pencil skirt such as this I'm still not quite there with the poses, trying to show my boots off looking forward to your next jaunt
-
looking great as always, Jeff
-
Loving that blue skirt, Lime

Nice jaunt, Jdff! It seems youth today are no longer shocked go see a man in a skirt (perhaps Kanye, A $ AP Rocky and Future have made jt more cool), the key is confidence as you said before. Looking good as usual
-
Many thanks, my friend. I'll certainly do the very best I can.
Thanks for the kind words. It's rather cool that few to no one pays me any mind when I'm out and about. Of course, I have no idea what may or may not happen behind my back, especially with the technology of camera equipped cellphones out there. Oh, well, nothing I can do about that, except to keep on jaunting and keep on having fun, especially the fun quotient.
Thanks! That skirt has become a favorite. As for posing, like everything in life, it's all about practice, practice, PRACTICE! If you have access to a mirror, practice in front of it to get a handle on posture when standing and sitting, then work on posing. I was hardly a natural at posing in the beginning, so I practiced until I got it right. Good luck.
I'll try with the practising...
Though I won't be UK's Next Top Model anytime soon

+1Still reading and enjoying, Jeff. Keep it up.
Loving the denim skirt - wish I could pull off that demure pose as in pic #2, when I try my leg looks broken any advice on posture? You look so confident as well

Not yet, though I wore some black boots with a heel on with a plain black kilt yesterday People thought it was just a pleated skirt, so the next step is a pencil skirt of similar lengthSeems like a good idea. Are they used to seeing you in heels too?

I love the skirt it's gorgeous. I'm getting my work colleagues used to seeing me in a kilt, then I'll just wear a pencil skirt on dress down FridaysThank you all for the recent comments!
Well I've decided to return to an old job and return to some form of steady income. I really enjoy being a freelancer, as well as my other half dozen side jobs, but I also really miss having a guaranteed income baseline every week. The new (old) job is a no heels job (slacks and sneakers but I can't really complain) and with it I'm going to have to limit the amount of extra work I can take on but I've made a command decision of sorts.
Especially now that it has begun to really warm up, on the days I work from home, or in part from home, I've decided to keep up with the heels and skirts - essentially whatever feels comfortable day to day. I'm not one of those people that slob around and if there's a conference call or a package to sign for, toss myself together to look like I'm working. When I work from home I get up early, dress casual but business appropriate, that's that. As I said before, it's about building confidence and comfort back up for myself, allowing me to be me.
I kicked (haha) things off today by wearing my Torrid python skirt, brown collared dress shirt, and Payless Janine black patent pumps. It's been a great day thus far, got a lot of work done, signed for a couple UPS packages (incident free, no surprise), just a very comfortable day. I'm guessing the more I think of ensembles like this as just part of my work attire, the more comfortable and confident I'll become.

Great skirt ensemble, Jeff

Looks great!

acquired, rather than bought, though I'm regretting the color now... I can't find much to go with purple
-
To his credit, he does look to be outside, even if the pic looks like it has been taken on a VGA Camera Pen from about 10 years ago I'm sure he'll post a better pic after sulking
-
Jeff - pose a sitting pic please like this
for instance....
Just an excuse to show off my new heels
tee hee
I'll stop hijacking now
-
I'm loving that skirt, looks great but get a real pencil skirt this year - there's some nice ones on Pinterest to give you some pointers
-
Wear it higher? I'm not a ho BTW It's Kilty, not Kitty dear When I sit it rises past my knees anyway, the vent at the back gives me enough movement, but the shoes are too tight (ouch) My legs aren't bad, but like Jeff I just am wearing it as a guy, and black is a good colour. Most times, as my name suggests, I'm in a kilt I don't want to hijack our friend's thread - I'm sure he's keeping it free for a nice jaunt (and hopefully pix of him seated in one of his skirt ensembles - perhaps he'll get a nice pencil skirt soon )Suggestion: Wear the skirt waist a few inches higher. I think it would balance the look a little better and it would make you legs look even longer (that's a good thing).

Jeff. finally, a pic of me! My first set of heels - although they aren't high It's just a simple pencil skirt teamed with some brown boots. My first venture outside today was to a shop to get some milk, A raised eyebrow from the shopkeeper, yet no adverse comments, even from the 3 black youths who were behind me as I paid up. I would wear a kilt, but a pleated skirt in this cold weather would be too much The black one was nice and snug One lady in her 20s complimented me, saying more guys should embrace the manskirt Looking forward to your next jaunt
-
Jeff, haven't heard of any jaunts for a while. Is everything ok? Some sitting poses as well as pix whilst on your jaunts would help me see how good it looks... Heading out to a party tomorrow in a kilt and boots... Its a fancy dress theme Keep those jaunts coming
The Jaunts of JeffB!
