  1. Latest update... I told my mother. Never realized she could ever have such a dull attitude as THAT! She was worried, and said that people would laugh at me, that wearing "women's" shoes is not "normal" for a man, that "are you a transvestite?" question, and stated that this ridicule would cause isolation. I answered that hiding my true self and desires could do this WAY faster and stronger. I also told her that those who could poke fun could be some silly youngsters (and I don't care about them), and many women could compliment me. My mother told me that she didn't see any men wearing heels in the street, and I replied "I think many guys love heels, but they're hiding their passion because of the fear of ridicule- I don't!". I can understand her fears, but damnit, I've been working hard enough to gain more confidence, I did it (and still do) and I ain't gonna surrender! Momma says that these heels themselves are too thin to support my weight (I weigh ca. 80kg) and they could be acceptable if they were thicker. I wonder what she'd say if she saw TBG for example. Well, I began considering taking these booties to a cobbler for a heel change, or perhaps wearing them at a fancy dress party. No matter how hard my attempts to calm my mother down were, I didn't succeed in convincing her... yet. I'm gonna talk to her today (she went to sleep so that I had no opportunity for a longer talk) and tell her that men in 16- 18th century wore heels as tall as 12cm, and women can wear whatever they darn please (including ties and wingtips) whereas guys have a very narrow sartorial choice and I want to change this in my case. Oh, and I'd tell her about strict dress codes for females in 19/20th century and women wearing pants before this garment was embraced by mainstream fashion. Or guys with earrings. I think I should appeal to her sense of justice and tell me if this double standard is fair (I suppose that this question would knock her out). If she knew English, I'd definitely direct her here.

  2. I've won this auction http://www.allegro.pl/item137023754_essence_sexi_duze_43_43_5_skora.html recently, and the boots arrived today. No one besides me, you and people at the Polish kinky forum know about them, but I'm gonna tell my momma soon. I wonder what her reaction will be :rocker:. I won't wear these boots out too soon- I've got to practice walking a bit, as these 9cm (3.5") spikes were quite a challenge at the first time. They look better than in the pictures, but unfortunately I've still got no camera to take some pics of me and my outfits. These booties fell really comfortable.

  3. On my thrift store shopping spree, I bought a pair of dark brown, 2" Cuban heel ankle boots. They costed 10PLN ($2,5), look really nice (besides their colour- I'd like them to be black) and I've gotten many compliments about them. My momma said that girls are killing themselves wearing such heels :D (I think that she exagerrated- if she only saw a chick wearing ballet boots...).

  4. when i can't tell.. i don't even go there with any genderization of vocabulary

That reminds me of something. When I was going to my classes, there was a couple. The boy had long, curly hair and wore somewhat feminine casual clothes (oh, he wore no heels... just sneakers/ trainers) and I couldn't tell that he was a guy at the first, nor second glance. And he was really beautiful. Well, blurring gender differences (I wouldn't call that TS/TV/CD, but androgyny- one has to have both male and female characteristics that go well with each other) both by men and women fascinates me and gives me a buzz.

  5. Believe it or not, most women's shoe salesmen won't bat an eye when a guy walks in and asks to see "a pair of these in size x, please."

Confirmed. I've been visiting some shoe (seven? ten? I don't remember...) shoe shops and only one female clerk was astonished about my desire to wear heels. The other shopkeepers were either enthusiastic or accepting, and seemed to understand me well. But I bought nothing as there were no shoes/ boots in my size- just the regular boring "male" shoes.
  6. Well, it depends on where you live and what your shoe size is. You can try companies that have their online shops and ship worldwide, or you can look for a brick-and-mortar shops. There are always some online auction services, like eBay (selection is great, but be careful as not all sellers ship worldwide) and second-hand shops (a.k.a. charity shops or thrift stores)- it's rather hard to find something nice-looking AND fitting there, but if you're lucky, you'll be more than satisfied. I'm on my way to buy some heels recently, and I've been trying to find something fitting in shoe shops. However, the sizes go up to 41EU- I need 43/ 44. I'm lurking at Allegro.pl (the Polish online auction site, still more popular here than eBay) and I think I'm gonna find something nice really soon.

  7. Well, the shaft on the second pair doesn't appeal to me too much (if it were taller, thinner, with no decoration and with a zipper, then it'd be more than OK) but the toebox and heel are gorgeous. I like the first pair too- they're somehow Beatle or cowboy in appearance .

  8. Today I found this auction: DUŻY NUMER KOZAKÓW B-L-O-X ROZMIAR 44 (135511351) - Aukcje internetowe Allegro (it's in Polish, but scroll down to see the pics). The starting bid is low (ca. 30 PLN- that translates to 5 GBP or $7,50) and I think I'm gonna buy them- they're right in my size (I wear 43/44) and the heel is kinda high- 11cm (4") with a platform. I'd give them at least 8cm/ 3" without plats. They look somewhat gothic to me and resemble of combat boots, and I guess they would go well with my leathers.

  9. Yeah, I understand perfectly. There are many women in Poland that have large-sized feet, and they're having difficulty getting footwear. I've visited some shoe shops, and the "women's" sizes go up to 41EU. The sales assistants are usually very open-minded and seem to understand my desire to wear some nicer shoes/ boots (heck, maybe they had male customers who wanted to buy "women's" footwear earlier?), but the fashion industry still doesn't.

  10. I think that all this fuss with changing the forum's address etc. didn't do her any good and she doesn't even know that the forum still exists? The second reason may be a departure etc. and not having an internet access. However, if the situation persist, maybe we should PM her?
