  1. Very pointy stillettos? Sure! Cone-shaped heels and platforms are great too. Gothic fashion is all about creativity, so you can do virtually anything to make a satisfying outfit. Oh, and if you're going to "join" the subculture, remember: aesthetics are only one of its aspects, so you should get to know the music, literature etc.

  2. I'm EU43 and it's quite difficult to get nice shoes/ boots for me [of course I don't even mention these ugly, flat "men's" shoes!]. Small-footedness would definitely be a gift for me, but I guess I'm fine with my size. And BTW, if you still need low-heeled "masculine" oxfords, you can find them in female section as well.

  3. Right now, I opt for a more masculine look, but after moving out, I'll be regularly seen in an androgynous, gender-bending mode. That includes long leather skirts, stilletto oxfords, dyeing my hair black or dark red, and- of course- corsets. Some jewellery or piercings, too. I won't go for full CD/ TV, either. I have to learn how to do make-up, especially for Castle Party or other Gothic events.

  4. PS. The story in question alleges that Hitler was a shape shifting alien who had been kept alive since the second world war by cryogenics and he had emplanted genes in the young population to obey him when he was unfrozen. It's pretty far fetched stuff

    Right... kinda Lovecraftian, isn't it? "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh..."
  5. It's true in that thin heels look better on a thin body. Aesthetically speaking, a large object balanced on a small one looks unstable.

So if you have a larger body, you have the choice of wearing thicker heels or saying to hell with aesthetics, I'll just wear stilettos.

That's right. I don't think that I could pull off stillettos [esp. thin ones] without making my body appear slimmer by wearing a corset or a long coat.
