  1. Boy o boy, those boots would surely be hard to resist.
  2. I would say that my "fascination" with boots and heels began when I was just a little kid. I have often wondered if this "fascination" is something I learned, or was I hardwired this way. Unfortunately, I waited until my late 40s-50s to actually allow myself to admit that I wanted to wear high heel boots and get some.... It has taken me many years since then to develop the courage and confidence to wear them in most any setting these days without the usual self imposed negative feelings. Thanks to all my friends here for your help. Don
  3. You are sooo right. I am so happy to be over all that "fearfulness", can wear most of my boots just about anywhere without worry, which is the best feeling ever. I recently bought a pair of those Hunter gloss black tall "refined" rubber rain boots, love those as well. I just wish I could help some guy get over all the ridiculous fears I suffered with early on, without wasting valuable time and enjoyment. "Bootbuds", whether they be guys or gals, are a great way to ease your fears when out in public. "Confidence in numbers" seems to work.
  4. I'm with you buddy. I think I look great in my boots, and no longer care what other's think. I suspect many guys notice my boots, and are secretly envious....
  5. Great outfits indeed, those boots look great. Amazingly powerful and alluring when paired with the sports gear for sure...
  6. For sure! Hoping I can join you sometime with my tall cowgirl boots and gloss black Hunter rain boots!
  7. Well, I guess I will have to admit to watching mind numbing, useless Bravo TV shows, but it is worth for this topic. "Brock", a very masculine husband to one of the stars of the show, is just the type of man we need to help promote heels as normal mens' footwear. The last three "reunion episodes" show Brock wearing some great looking pointed toe ankle boots with 3" block heels. Oftentimes, many actors look foolish with some of the outfits picked for or by themselves. But, big ol Brock really looks great in those boots. I'm wondering if he picked them out, of if one of the show's stylists picked them for him. Hoping he enjoys wearing them and thinks he looks good, because he does. Again, seeing normal, popular "celebrities"/regular guys wearing boots like this really does help normalize the fashion. This also helps regular guys summon the courage to try out fashions like these ankle boots, that they have only secretly admired in the past... OK, so now let me have it for watching idiotic TV shows like this... I'm not afraid to admit that I enjoy just letting my eyes roll back inside my head while enjoying silly stuff like this, even though I can feel my last remaining brain cells just melting away! D
  8. I'm not afraid to admit it, I love watching mindless TV shows like "Vanderpump Rules". Yeah, I know, it's phony stuff staged for ratings, but I watch this stuff just the same... I have always admired "Tom Sandoval", he takes great pride in his appearance, and always puts pleny of effort into all his outfits. I'm not crazy about Tom's drag outfit, he has done better, but he is killing it in those ankle boots! vanderpump rules tom in drag boots - Google Search
