Sizes for Nine West and Aerosoles

I've got US 11.5 M/13 W feet. The issue isn't the width, but the length. I tried on a pair of size 11 W Aerosoles in the mall the other day, and was surprised that while tight, they weren't that tight. I've also heard Nine West runs large. Anyone out there with similar feet have any success with the 12 W Aerosoles and Nine West heels?

I just ordered a pair of Nine West Boswell boots from Zappos in a size 10. I'm usually a size 11W (sometimes a 12W). I have also heard that Nine West runs large, so hopefully they work out for me. I'll let you know...

my knee -high boots from NINE WEST (style-model not remembered @ present) are womens size 9 (I'm blessed with a SMALL mens/LARGE womens foot here) and fit very well on my feet.

Aerosoles size 11's fit me just fine. I haven't tried any Nine West shoes tho. The gals at the Aerosoles store are very friendly and seem to have no problem with a guy trying on shoes in the stores. I have done it several times, and each time it was a plesant experience. Stan ......

Depending on the male shoe I have 10.5/11 men's feet, or at least I did fifteen years ago, which was about the last time I bought a pair, with fairly narrow feet for a male. Nine West 12's fit me fine. I don't buy pointed toes, just round and square, so I cannot testify to pointed toes. Always have a bit of room in terms of length, as you are suppose to. I prefer to think of Nine West, Sudini, and Franco Sarto 12's as being the regular size, rather than running large and other brands as running small.

Go gently through life.

Does anyone know of a source for larger sized heels that are NOT fetish oriented?

Uh, Duh, yeah, me. I wear heels because I like wearing heels. Not because it get my rocks off doing so.

Back to the question, gents: "Anyone out there with similar feet have any success with the 12 W Aerosoles and Nine West heels?"

Key point in this is the size: 12.

Thanks.

Aynthem, I'm with you. Though I've become accustom to my 5" stiletto's and even like the look (and sometimes the looks), a tweener heel - 3-4 inch block on a more rounded toes shoe would be a comfortable alternative.

I couldn't agree more. I like wearing heels, and not jut because it's sexy, but for those of us who have larger feet we are stuck with vendors who only cater to the fetish market. I'd like some realistic styles in a large size. I'm rather envious of thse with size 10 M feet

I've gotten some nice heels, but the selection is limited for those of us with bigger feet.

Both Bakersshoes and Nine West have started carrying some size 12 on their web site. It is still for very limited styles, but before they never had Size 12

Nine West is one of my favorite brands. Their shoes are very stylish and in general I find them quite comfortable. I have found that most of their sizes are fairly normal, though I have had a few cases where they run larger. My guess is that they get shoes from different manufacturers. I take anything between a 10 and 11. Their closed toe pumps can be a bit narrow up front so larger size in this is better. In boots and sandals I can do a size 10 for Nine West. Just try them on in the store. I have had really friendly people in their stores.

I received the Nine West Boswell Boots today, and they were a good fit on my feet, even with the pointy toes. This particular model runs a size large (I usually wear 11W, these were 10W). The problem with the Boswells is that they're very wide through the ankle and calf, and the lacing is not adjustable until top two hooks, since the tongue is sewn into the boot from the foot to almost the top. They're made for people with wide ankles and calves, and do not give me the close fit that I want (I have fairly slender legs), so I'll be returning them. Here's a link for anyone who's interested:

I don't know what the american market is like but in Europe it is possible to find larger sized woman shoes and boots that are not fetish. But probably not higher than 4".

In Paris there is :www.sacapuce.fr

And in Sweden you can find: www.kingsizeskor.se (Navigate through "Damskor" which is ladies shoes)

I don't know if either of them send to the US but the swedish shop is just some 20 minutes away from me so maybe I can help out there.

Devide the swedish prices with appr 6,8 and you get it in USD.

Nine West is one of only three brands of shoes I will buy (the others being Steve Madden and Bandolino, which is a NW band anyway.) The reasons are two-fold, a Nine West US11B fits me PERFECTLY, and it also keeps me from buying way too many shoes if I stick to my three brands.

Style is built from the ground up!
