crotchboots-m Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 i dont think its a good idea...to much chance of injury.
chris100575 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I absolutely cannot run in heels! I tried it once while crossing the road, and while I can walk confidently in them I can only do a pathetic girly tottering run, which is impossible to do with dignity. Next time I'm going to either plan for a bigger gap or get run over! Chris
new_look Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 i have to comment most of the heels are low, and when ur running you spring off the toes anyhow mostly so i cant imagine most of these women had too much of a problem
chris100575 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Those maybe, try it in four inches or more... Chris
dr1819 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I've only done it during a couple downpours, and then, with caution. Certainly not a sprint, no!
admirer5577 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I tried to catch a train once and ran from one platform to the other. Not a very long distance, maybe 2-300 m, but in ankle boots with 5" stiletto heels it wasn't the quickest run I have done but I don't think it looked that bad. Unfortunately the train left when I had 20 m left to go so I had to wait ½ hour for the next one.
platformchic Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I do not think it would be wise to run in any heels but escpecially when you get into the 4-5" plus range.
dr1819 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Running for what? Public office? That would be a hoot...
Guy N. Heels Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Didn't we do a whole thread on this topic before? Keep on stepping, Guy N. Heels
highheellover Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 that is interesting. Girls and heels rock.
JeffB Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Not at all. I see no reason to. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Magickman Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Been there, done that, and bicycling in heels, too.
