wineanddine Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Nope - not my style. U-G-L-Y but each to his own.
shrimper Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 The question is, do you like them? If so, does my opinion matter? Yours won't matter if I see something I like.
thesnowball Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 not my style either...but if you like them...then go for it...
Fog Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 The question is, do you like them? If so, does my opinion matter? Yours won't matter if I see something I like. Fine advice. I don't like them either - I've got a couple of pairs of sandals, but I don't wear them out. Sandals are feminine so you've got to go through the whole thing of shaving and nail polish to get the best out of them; so after making that effort why wear frumpy sandals? Edited for punctuation - I'm such a sloppy tart sometimes.
shyguy Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 How much would someone pay me to wear them? Not my cup o' tea either. If you like them, as has been said, then go for it, it's all about your own personal taste. He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Skirted-UK Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 In a word NO, I had a pair of 2.5" block heel court shoes by Essence at Evans and they fell to bits after a while. "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave ! " The Eagles, "Hotel California"
euchrid Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Nay, Nay and thrice Nay... When there's such a fantastic choice available, why go for something as bland as that. Not even my mother would like them and she wears some hideous footwear. Always High-Heel Responsibly
MrStiletto Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Sorry to say I am jumpin' on the band wagon with the NO group. Personaly I am not much of a wedge person. I might think about it if it was a shaped wood heel about 4 inches
Shafted Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 No, sorry! There just not my cup of tea. I'm just too addicted to the light weight of a stiletto. Shafted, the boots that is! Shafted Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Standing Ovation for that answer. You have my full support come hell or high water if that is what you choose to wear. If course I'll go along with kneehighs. Shafted, the boots that is!
