somehow, I don't think tinfoil will manage it :-) if I had the requisite knowledge, I would make you the shiny metal corset  just for fun (and the photographic rights, of course!)

I once saw one that was made from pull tabs off of soft drink cans... woven together.

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

I am not using the pull tabs, but I have been cutting the aluminum of the cans and making some scales. It's not easy work but I try my best. We'll see if I get anything out of it or just revive my goth days for yet another year...

Who said that high heeled gothic is oxymoronic? Isn't being goth about self-expression?

Actually I think you should wear something like this

Wouldn’t that be cool? Only You probaly look 1000 times better in it.

Dex, I don't think I would quite fill it out, but I guess it doesn't matter. Thank you for saying I would look better in it. I cannot afford something like that but it would be interesting. I think I might be sent home from work as well.

Do you think so. Thank god I don't work in you company, with me wearing heels to work I would probaly get sent home a lot.

I can get away with a few things at work, I smooth talk when I must. But for the boys... a VP can joke about wearing heels with ease, but a male who wore them to work would be asked to go home and change, I am sure. Things have become a little bit more anal since the cuts earlier this year. But I wore my white five and a half inch stilettos today, which many people noticed. More on that will have to wait for the diary. Hallowe'en is when I push things as far as I can, of course. But I have started wearing sparkles on my eye lids and in my hair at least once every few weeks, and no one is saying anything. Push here and there and see what happens. If someone says something, then defend the freedom of expression. I try...

To bad society still works like this, but I understand. In my company the fired 14 people out of 45 last week, On those moments you don’t want to stand out in any way.

Well back to topic, I found some costumes maybe you’ll like them. But anyway in the remote case you don't you can get some inspiration from them.

Interesting costume choices, but they're.... generic, stale, and someone else's idea. You know that I have to be unique and an individual, right? Besides, NO HORNS! Vikings do not have horned helmets. We're smarter than that.

as per an answer given to another thread- Valkyrie Goddess on a motorbike  Laurie certainly has interesting choices  I best stop myself otheriwse there may be an accident!

I have made the decision to take motorcycle riding lessons, likely in the spring since autumn is almost here and I know such classes can fill up in advance. Barb Wire, I know of the character, and I think I have more brains than that. Valkyrie high heeled goddess on a super sport bike, trying not to go down while riding amongst the cages. A more modern view, sure. I think Super Laurie will certainly ride a fancy super sport, probably a Suzuki.

Good for you, riding a bike has also a great plus. You can wear a nice leather outfit in public and nobody thinks strange of it.

I like it a lot, riding my Honda CBR-600 Next weekend I will probably go to the superbikes in Assen

Are you planning to give us some more detail, or is that it? Might be unwise leaving this to our imaginations. Especially mine...

Obsessed is such a strong word. I prefer to think of myself as "differently enthusiastic"
