dr1819
Mom and several of my neighbors. My first experiences were wearing the neighbor's heels while I took care of their pets.

Bubba136
your grand-dad isn't the only man that ever used that excuse, bigj. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

chris100575
My mother wore high heels almost exclusively except for around the house, and still does if she's going out. My aunt (her younger sister) also had many pairs of high heeled shoes and boots. Chris
stilettolover
when i was growing up, my parents were quite social. i remember mom with her 1960's 4" super skinny heeled pumps. she stored them in the closet in my room, which was the golden opportunity for experimentation! Skirted-UK
My mother never wore high heels or straight skirts, said they were a nonsence fashion, I first noticed them on the school secretary when I was 13. Steve B
My mother wore them if she and my father were going out, but I hardly ever noticed. The first person I really noticed them on was my third grade teacher. Later, I noticed my aunts having them on. One of them wore black pumps for maybe a year and never afterwards; the other wore pumps regularly, although they weren't more than 3 or 3.5 inches tall. Black 5-inch stilettos - the only way to go! Dawn HH
My Mom had arthritis very bad in all of her joints and wasn't able to wear high heels, always wearing lace-up oxfords with a chunky 2" heel. YUK!!! I wouldn't even look at them much less try them on. She very happily passed that disease onto me at birth through her genes. My sister started wearing heels at age 17, promptly eloped to get married and after getting her man, never wore them again. She only owned one pair of black pointy-toed 4" stiletto pumps of which I tried on a couple of times when she wasn't around. But, I became the heel wearing person in the family and have been wearing them happily ever since. I have always loved wearing heels. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever! Danielinheels
My youngest aunt, who was married into the family, wore heels most often. I was under her watch a lot, and her heels were my entertainment sometimes. My grandma possessed heels, but I doubt she wore them much. There's one pair that she still has to this day, and I think I've worn them more than she has Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde
jbmajoor
Mom wore heels. She married in platform boots, high fashion in the early 70s. Grandmom (mother of dad) was really a shoe addict, and she was very proud of this. Until high age, she wear heeled court shoes and some times even boots. None of the girlfriends I've had wear heels Woman Boots, queen of the shoes
