I do know that Adeana was breaking in a new BF when I last heard from her. That could certainly curtail her activity here, for a while anyway.

Pam

I read a post from Anita in another board, was going to PM her but could not access the site!

Couldn't answer that as my only contact with her has been through the board. She did tell us that she had met someone, whom she was interested in, unfortunately her postings in regards to that were lost in the big hacking of the site.

I have missed hearing from the ladies also. They all had such interesting posts. Even the ladies who are mods have not been posting lately. I hope they decide to let us hear from them again. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Being new to this, I don't know who 'the ladies' were? Musy admit, a lot of the time I don't know if somebody is a lady, gent, TV, TS or what - but don't suppose it matters. Plays havoc with your mental pictures of people - but, then again, suppose that is fun. From surfing the pages, I believe Anita C is a woman and was quite prolific in her writings. Who are the other ladies? GGxxx

Gayle, Adeanna joined about the same time as I did, and she was quite a prolific poster. Sadly all her posts were lost, when this site was hacked. It's really too bad as I enjoyed reading and rereading her posts. I do hope she comes back as she fit in so easily with this group.

Shafted (good name),

Thank you for that. Would be interested to hear from more girls.

As for the hacking - that's a bit frightening.

GGxxx

Thanks! I thought it an appropriate name considering my love of boots.

Another month has gone by and we still haven't heard from any of our favorite girl posters. Any news out there? Cheers--- Dawn HH

Do you suppose it could be the time of year? The weather's warm and there are places to go and things to do -- other than being online. I think the activity level on most boards decreases with the summer season. Let's all hope the ladies come back when the season changes.

Have a happy time!

Dawn has posed the question:

Another month has gone by and we still haven't heard from any of our favorite girl posters. Any news out there?

If members would take the time to read the comments that have been posted over the past couple of months, you can, I'm sure, see the pattern that is taking place. That of men exclusively discussing their likes, dislikes and attraction for high heels and the wearing other items of women’s clothing. Now, while I know some of us have tried our best to include our female members in our discussion, just the direction the board has taken towards -- as much as we would wish otherwise -- what some red blooded, male loving, females would believe is a deviant, degenerate practice that absolutely and totally turns "normal," psychologically healthy women away from us.

I know the greater number of women members we have had here joined the forum to discuss general fashion and shoes with other women that might enjoy the same interest. Instead they find a group of men that are, in their opinion, psychologically "bent" men consumed with the goal of getting "the whole world" to accept them in high heels. A practice they find and have repeatedly endorsed as being “unmanly.”

It doesn't matter how “normal” we view ourselves or how much we try to convince ourselves the whole world is out of step except us; or how hard we try to persuade "normal" people to allow us to practice our fetish outside the confines of our homes and bedrooms, lets fact it -- we are the ones that are fighting an up-hill battle and until we gain enough support from those harboring "heelaphobic" thoughts and attitudes, we've got to expect being treated as social outcasts. It's that simple and no amount of wishing, self sympathy and whining about our inability to get people to see things our way will cause society to see us in any other light for a long, long time to come.

So, let's face it. Our membership has condensed into (95% perhaps) a group of men that have a nimiety and unnatural interest in, and un-extinguishable love for, high heels. And as such, we must accept the fact that we will be looked upon as unhealthy, and in some cases, "shuningly" perverted for the foreseeable future.

And, that's my opinion!

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

You may be right Bubba, I certainly can't rule out what you said. I have also seen that we can't seem to lick the problem of the guys posting in the gals section. The ladies made it quite clear that they wanted this section off limits to posting by guys, yet it's still happening. So maybe we as a group are being screwed by those that can't resist posting there. And yet we let it continue. If that's so maybe we don't deserve their presence here. I can understand their frustrations with this board.

I have to say that I stopped posting because the content of posts/topics was getting a bit boring/repetative, and I was in school.

As for women getting offended as to where you post, I think that if it is pertinant to the conversation, then by all means post it. I post where I have something to say based on the topic.
