No, I haven't. I've been out of contact with her since stopping therapy last June. Perhaps I'll drop her a line and tell her of my discovering this marvelous home for me. Rainbow PS. I've been having a problem with something on my computer deleting photos, even copies I send to myself! One of the deleted photos is of your avatar. Will you describe it for me? Eventually, when I can get this deletion problem resolved, I'll be able to see it for myself, as well as many other deleted images on this site.

In 100 years no one will care that you wore high heels today.

If your last comment was directed towards me, my avatar was posted onto hhlplace's picture server. It disappeared along with all of the other photographs that were posted here before about last April (2004) ?? My old avatar picture was of two pair of my pumps. One black patent pair from LSB and one pair of red patent pumps both with 7" heels.

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

My feet are narrow for a man's. Wider at the front. I think the term "combination last" is used to describe shoes made to accommodate the difference in size widths. I am 6'2" tall and take a men's 10B. Still a hard width to find in men's shoes but more out there in women's. As other's have observed it depends a lot on the manufacturer. By the two size rule I shoudl ahve to go for D width women's shoes but B fits well with many women's shoes. Those tend to be the styles with more rounded toes thus the answer to the original question is made for me.

I feel the same. I also suffer with a mens 9C (narrow width). When I looked for mens shoes in my size the selection was poor, even at Zappos. Most were super ugly, and I would not buy them because they were so ugly. I would buy a 9D (medium width) instead and wind up wedging the heel and adding a arch support insoleto get a better fit. In some cases this worked, in others it crowded the upper arch too much and caused aching in the upper arch.

Well them I tried a womens 11B (medium width) boot, and fell in love with the comfort and fit

BTW: Mens C width is approximatly the same as womens B width.

Shafted, the boots that is! View my gallery here http://www.hhplace.o...afteds-gallery/ or view my heeling thread here http://www.hhplace.org/topic/3850-new-pair-of-boots-starts-me-serious-street-heeling/ - Pm me if you want fashion advice or just need someone to talk to.

I would love for ALL heeled footwear to become unisex. I don't think that won't happen here for a LONG time as I have never seen another guy in heels EVER (apart from the occasional CD/TV - and I've been keeping my eyes peeled!) But, As someone that has High Functioning Autisim I have enough trouble decyphering the world as it is! so I seriously doubt my former "avatars" (6" Black PVC/ Black Tony Shoes' "101" model "Stripper" plats) will ever do a lap of the local shopping centre :P later, TXT-1

i have a pair of those black shoes you once displayed in your avatar and mine certainly have done a lap or two not only at the mall but on the street. i wore mine with some plain old Guess blue jeans. i have to consider myself very lucky in that womens US size 12 fit my slim foot like they were made to order. my wife and her lady friends all complain that i got the feet they want, which is perfect in 6 inch or 7.5 inch heels. i thank my lucky stars eveytime i put them on! i bought my wife a pair of black 7.5's before halloween, they are size 9. i put my foot over top of them once just to see how much bigger my foot is and there is no way i could ever get my foot into size 9. it brought back a lot of memories for me. i remember when i wore my sisters 4 inch heels back when i was 10 to 14 and how much i loved it. when my foot grew too large, my sister wears size 7, i felt so ripped off! i cursed my big feet and for the next 15 years went flat footed! what a downer! ah well. it worked out in the end because i never was very interested in women's shoe styles through the 80's and early 90's anyway. but they day they introduced those 6 inch heels with the 2 inch plat was like coming out of night and into day for me. let the good times roll!
