joenj Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 JeffB --- Nice shoes and outfit. Some days, I wish I could wear something like that. Great for you that you can wear that outfit at work!!!! /signed/ Joe in North-east New Jersey USA ///
Dawn HH Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 AND---JeffB, the slings that wheels showed have a very dainty little bow and strap accross the vamp to add interest to the shoe. Cheers-- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
JeffB Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 AND---JeffB, the slings that wheels showed have a very dainty little bow and strap accross the vamp to add interest to the shoe. Cheers-- Dawn HH I agree about the bow being a very nice touch. I can't say I've seen anything quite like that before. I for one don't think it overly feminizes the shoe as a whole, rather it adds an intruiging bit of style, even panache. Yeas, I could wear those slings quite easily at the office. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
barney15c Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Jeff B The Slings are made by www.italianheels.com They go up to a size 45 EUR (12 /13US ??) but i think that you can get them custom made in 46 EUR (13 /14 US?) but they would obviously cost a lot more. Model name is Nadia and is 83.25 Euro (Approx $111.00) upto size 45 if you want custom (Size 46) then cost is 132.55 Euro (Approx $ 176.00) plus shipping. JeffB Posted December 24, 2004 Author Posted December 24, 2004 I just ordered these pumps from Sexy Shoes: Not bad looking, eh? These will be my first pair of gray shoes and they'll match my gray dress pants perfectly. As soon as I get my grubby little hands on 'em, I'll be sure to snap a pic of myself in 'em! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
highheellover Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 nice heels jeffb. Girls and heels rock.
Steve B Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 They look a lot like my Pleasers, only mine are black. Can't miss the 5-inch heel. Black 5-inch stilettos - the only way to go!
Dawn HH Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 JeffB:-) I wasn't able to open your pic. All I got was a square with a red x in the middle, but knowing your taste in shoes, I'm sure they are lovely and will match your other grey clothing perfectly. So I await your pic with them on your feet. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!

Tell me, how easy has it been for you to wear these shoes at work? Is there a thread here that reveals your history. I'd love to go this route at work, too. Thanks

As far as pics go, I don't make a good picture. I wear heels purely for the enjoyment. I don't look good in them and make no bones about it. LA Woman

Tell me, how easy has it been for you to wear these shoes at work? Is there a thread here that reveals your history. I'd love to go this route at work, too. Thanks Hello! Thanks for the compliments. I appreciate it. Well, I wouldn't say it's been easy to wear heels at work, at least not at first. I had to ease everyone, including myself into it. Check out "My Evolution In Shoe Wearing" which you might find interesting. It's not an overnight process, red shoes, I had to go slow so I didn't shock everyone. Like the title states, it was an evolution, one that took time to process, but the end result was more than worth it. Let me stress that what I've done can't be done just anywhere, but it can be done nonetheless! Take care and have a great day! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
jimslimbs Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Very nice Jeff, I would like them, although I have a similar pair, but they are a bit tired now. My GF just bought me some 4" buckle boots from my1stwish on ebay, So thats me happy for a while!
muddypaws Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Thanks to Bubba and Jeff, I find that 4" is my regular size of heels now, I have 5" too, but now my most comfortable is 4s. I can wear them all day every day, given the opportunity! The 5s are ok, but not the same as my comfy 4s. You are quite right in saying about lower ones feeling like flatties, I have disposed of all of them now to Charity Shop, and a few of the others too. I will not buy below 4" now, often that bit more, but not much. I will, though NEVER buy without trying on for size first, as I still find so many different sizes for the size. Always in the shop, it's great, then walk around the shop in them before I pay. One " fave" is TKMaxx, always a big shop to walk in! Always hit or miss if they have your 'style' on the shelves The other of course is New Look. also good to walk around . Muddypaws
