Real suede and the new microfiber suede materials seem like they are dirt magnets and really show any dirt or scuffing.  There is a tool that had been around for years just to cure such ills.  A suede brush has brass filaments that will not hurt the suede surface while they dislodge dirt and dust.  Brushing also sets up the nap of the suede. My brush is at least 40 years old.

For you folks that have just bought suede booties (and I cautioned to take extra care of them), Or anyone that has suede boots/shoes, I recommend this tool to your attention.

I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
