KneeBooted
So when I was taking pictures today to show off some of my other boots with me new jeans, I discovered my cats had opened one of the boxes of boots and damaged the heel covering. Does anyone know if this is repairable? This is probably one of my older pair and I love them...
Thighbootguy
That looks like a leather covered heel. All the ones I have seen have a grove that runs down the inside of the heel that secures the ends of the leather seam. You (or a cobbler) could replace the leather on the heel. Or, since the damage is on the heel (as opposed to up on the shaft of the boots) where it is hard to see, you could just apply some black polish or black sharpie and the damage would be almost invisible. However, if you have someone looking that closely at the repair of the heels on your boots, especially while their on your feet, that might be a different situation. 2 I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned. BootsOnly
Take them to a Cobbler and have them restored to their former glory!!!
