shyguy Posted January 31, 2004 Posted January 31, 2004 http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?t=2721 This topic states that hhds has been removed from the board (at his own request please read the post ) Just wanted to state that I will miss him and his informative posts, and wonder what caused him to leave, I know it's personal, so don't expect a reply. He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Brown's Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly
PJ Posted January 31, 2004 Posted January 31, 2004 When an inactive member leaves this forum, it generally goes unnoticed. But when an active member such as hhds leaves, it will soon become apparent. I also do not know the reason why hhds decided to leave this forum. I'm surprised he did not post a goodbye message. Although his unique perspective to high heel admiration did not interest me, I do wish him well. click .... click .... click .... The sensual sound of stiletto heels on a hard surface.
new_look Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 myself too. i think his request to leave ay have had something to do with the content disagreement in the fetish section. i wonder if id be missed if i left the board.......
Bubba136 Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 Don't know, Daz -- why not try it and see  Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
new_look Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 are you trying to get rid of me sonny? :argue:
Lucy Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 Hi Everyone! hhds' recent posting in the Fetish section was found by Anita and by me to be very distasteful and inappropriate to the spirit of these forums. In fact, it very nearly caused Anita to leave altogether, I had similar thoughts, but I was reassured when the moderator locked the thread. Another similar thread was locked as well. hhds has posted with many pics of very nice shoes in his collection, together with some enthusiastic messages. However, with his prolific presence on the Forum over some months, he should know the rules and the spirit of this forum as well as any of the rest of us. Members postings repeatedly show that the vast majority of us value these very special Forums chiefly for the very reason that they do uphold decency amidst a sea of countless rude, smutty and pornographic sites. Therefore, if indeed hhds has gone permanently, I think that whilst it is a shame to have lost his general input, if he is now trying to sully the Forums' content, then it is far more important to preserve the decency of these very special sites. I am so thankful that we have really excellent moderators, and wish to express my appreciation to them! Love, Lucy Life is not a rehearsal. Why not use it to present ourselves as smartly and attractively as possible?
hoverfly Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 From the way I see it, there is enough porn web sights, no need to taint this one. Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee!  👠1998 to 2022!
Bubba136 Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 Daz wrote: are you trying to get rid of me sonny? It was said in jest, Daz. And my reply is that I don't understand why anyone would ever ask such a question unless they were so unsure and insecure that they required constant reassurance that they are "loved." Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
JeffM Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 Funny that you say that Bubba. I thought the question from Daz was in jest. Jeff
Bubba136 Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 That's the way I took it, JeffM. And, like I said -- my response was also in jest. However, I guess one has to be really careful to respond to a joke with another joke lest some take it personally and out of context. If I've hurt young Daz's feelings, I'm sorry. Now if he wants to continue ........ Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
chris100575 Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 Nah, let Daz go. According to him I'm too heavy to be allowed to wear stilettos! As for HHDS, although I have no interest in the site he linked to, I interpreted it as an attempt to move inappropriate content elsewhere. Although I realise that he asked to be removed, and we didn't agree on the best way to treat a pair of heels, I'll miss his general contributions. Chris
new_look Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 its ok you didnt hurt any feelings, it was harmless yorkshire joking spirit as for you chris, youre free to wear what you want mate
unknown Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 ....you're free to wear what you want mate If only the rest of the world had that mindset. Someday....
Spikey Dan Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 I've known HHDS for over 4 years so hearing the news of his departure really saddened me. I'm sure his reasons for leaving this community is just. He will be sorely missed.
chris100575 Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 If only the rest of the world had that mindset. Someday.... Ah yes. The day I'm free to click down the street in my stiletto boots will be a happy one indeed. Sadly, I don't see it happening any time soon. It's grossly unfair however, that my wife could wear my steel toed Caterpillar boots and that would be perfectly acceptable. Chris
new_look Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 exactly it stinks, but thats what makes me ultra bold sometimes when i barge out and think f**k it and not give 2 shits about what people think because I enjoy it and its nothing to do with anyone else. i find it helps to do that away from home, youll never see the people again. im still working on people i know etc, the only person who knows me that knows of my heels is my gf who is cool with it. thank god! she is a big help 2
chris100575 Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 It certainly helps having your SO supporting you. I feel so much happier now that my wife and I can be open about my heels. This afternoon we were in town and as we were passing a shop that sells mainly high heels she asked if I wanted to have a look. I'm still working up to my first outing in heels, but I think I'll probably ease myself into it with a pair of my chunky ones. Chris
new_look Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 go on, its not as hard as you think. the hard part is the initial step out, then its a lo tin the mind of thinking everyone will auto look at the different shoes youre wearing, only about 1/4 of people actually take the time to notice and most arent bothered anyway. you get the occasional stare but youre past them after a second so who cares. my first outing was in blackpool on the busiest day of the year, i shit myself at first, but then i really enjoyed it. ps. my gf does that too, akss me if i wanna look in heel shops
chris100575 Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 I'm planning to get some longer jeans first, which will mean after next pay day. The last pair I bought I didn't try on, and they're slightly too short. Not enough to be noticeable with my male boots, but they'd show off too much heel for me to be comfortable with for my first time out. As for where, I live in a small village where everybody knows everybody else. I'll probably go into Stockport or Manchester where it's likely to be busy one day and do some shopping. I'll probably wear these for my first time out: http://65.160.96.70/hhplace/images/1075813719.jpg as they're my least obvious ones. Chris
Robert Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Wow Chris! Those are great! Boots, fascinating footwear http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i103/Boots_1956/
chris100575 Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Thanks! It's the pair that my wife gave to me. To be honest I don't actually wear them all that much, as I generally prefer pointy toes and stiletto heels, but the fact that J gave them to me means that they're kind of special. Chris
shyguy Posted February 3, 2004 Author Posted February 3, 2004 Those are fantastic boots. He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Brown's Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly
new_look Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 they are nice indeed. while i prefer a stiletto, i like that style too. on my first tie at blackpool, i took the wrong jeans. i had 2 pairs from river island, oone with 30 in leg and the other 34, i for to change before we went and i ended up in my 30 leg ones with a clear stiletto heel showing, iit did make it a bit harder, but thats what made me realise, that if noone noticed or cared about that, then whod notice more discreet stuff
